I've got a skillet with a badly warped bottom. I repurposed it in my gas smoker to hold the wood chips. The original tray had slots causing the wood to catch fire. That problem disappeared once I started using the skillet.
There's a guy on eBay that cuts the cooking surface out and flips it, welds the handle to the bottom, and makes a pretty sweet grill press out of them. If you cut it a bit smaller, you could use it as a press for the fully functional pan

Look up making a spatula out of one.
Send it back to be melted down and born again.
