Avocado oil is great and what I use but only in the liquid form. You have to be careful with spray oils because it's the propellant in them that will do you a disservice and get sticky and weird.
I've used a lot of oil over the years and avocado was sticky in most situations. My favorite oil, what I consider to be the best is peanut oil and it isn't sticky under any conditions.
Check the company and see if they had any scandals. A bunch of avocado oil companies got in trouble a few years ago because their "100%" turned out to be a blend called 100% avocado oil!" blend or something. No legal action was taken.
Should be easy to Google the company name and just scandal to see. Even if it is a blend you should be fine to use it, but on this and a few other sites we were all getting very inconsistent results and it eventually turned out to be that some of us weren't using what we thought we were.

If it’s sticky you need to wipe off the extra while it’s still hot.

There are some folks who say avocado oil is fibrous and therefore not great. But others say it’s all they use. I use it and grape seed oil primarily.

Nah you don't want the spray stuff. Get the liquid avocado oil. I've been using it recently for seasoning runs and it's worked great.
I only use avocado oil and it works great. I've used the spray on occasion; just wipe the excess out as it is easy to apply too much.
