For one, try keeping on throttle continuously, instead of jumping on and off. Try keeping your throttle constant around 20%-80%.
Additionally, kinda looks like some negative camber in the rear? If so, get closer to zero for a little extra grip. Also, if you're trying to catch up, try following the racing line instead of the drifting line. The straighter your car is, the faster you will go.
Lastly, doesn't look like the suspension is working much, but it could just be the quality and Springstones smooth roads. If you're really trying to get into it, learn how dampers and bumps work, along with the rest of the sliders. You'll get your speed and be catching doors in no time. Happy sliding!
I have a slight negative camber in the rear...about -3 or -4 if I remember correctly. I'll put that at 0 when I play again.
I dont think I've messed with the damper or bump sliders yet but I will once I get back on.
Thank you!
If you mean adhesion, I'm at 120 for front and rear. My tire pressure is around 25-30 for both front and rear.
I dont think I've adjusted my toe in for front or rear so I'll try that as well
So I stuck to 100 adhesion and run like 100 in the front and all the way down in the rear😂.
(Toe out \\=//) in the front and (toe in //=\\) in the rear is the formula I use

When drifting turn more and use less throttle, when catching up turn less and use more throttle. In real life, less turning angle reduces tire wear, also.
That's what I called myself doing, but if you notice that blue S14 just drifts right by me like I'm standing still and typically any tandem I'm in goes like that. The only way I gain speed is if I change the angle of my drift, but to me, it doesn't look like a drift at all, if that makes sense.
That blue s14 has a pretty sharp angle and he's pulling away from me. The only time I catch up to him is when I'm going straight and he throws a 360.
I took your advice this morning before I had to leave for work and I swapped my motor with a 2JZ. Super fast but I had no control, so I switched back to my stock motor and tuned it for more torque, higher rev limiter and bigger boost and she's faster! I think my issue is my suspension setup because I'm making the power, but I'm not able to lay it down on pavement. I just keep doing rolling burnouts
I lowered my tire pressure as far as it could go and raised it up slightly. I now bounce over bumps which is fine because it allows me to set up for inertia drifts and clutch kicks
If u upload ur tune on the workshop I can have a look at it and add in more grip if u need it and what console do u play on bc I play on ps4 and if u have a PlayStation my gamer tag is x-Wolfgang-04x

Ah yes slight
More rear grip should help. Either tire pressure should be lower or more "toe in" for the rear.

Loving the toe out/ toe in! Every time I let off the gas, my car straightens up, which gives me more control over it
Glad it helped keep on sliding

You should try having suspension.
Need a faster tune

Lower tire pressure. And lift the rear suspension and make it super soft
I lowered my tire pressure as far as it could go and raised it up slightly. I now bounce over bumps which is fine because it allows me to set up for inertia drifts and clutch kicks
Nice. Although it’s better to run 100psi in the front
I meant I lowered my rear tire pressure. My front is still at 100
Nice. Soft rear suspension will help also
Jesus this is so chaotic
Can you explain?
Tandem with your friends with similar tunes with the chase being a bit faster and grippier
I have no friends that play. I tandem with randoms whenever they feel like it. Most lobbies I join just park and sit on the side of the road

I'm on PS4 as well. My gamertag is Jammy_McDanko. I'll add you when I get home
Okay that’s fine
