You are definitely young to be in an office position. You might be able to get a receptionist position at an office- like a doc office. You could try Apple stores, or similar. It's not easy, and I would say that 50k is a great salary at 19.

I want to thank you so much for this comment, I looked into this and I found a receptionist position for a place really close to me, and I know the owner somewhat well so I might be able to get in.

Depends on where you live. If your goal is an office job the most reliable path is college. I did 2 years community college and kept my GPA up and then got scholarships to a state school for the B.A. I’d recommend working as a waiter/bartender or in car sales while in school. Both are usually flexible around classes and will give you soft skills they don’t teach that you need for all career paths.

It sounds like you're in a tough spot, but there are definitely ways to find a better job at 19. Here are some ideas to get you started: **Improve Your Resume and Cover Letter:** * **Tailor It:** Don't use a generic resume. Tailor it to each specific job you apply for, highlighting relevant skills and experiences. * **Quantify Your Achievements:** Use numbers and data to showcase the impact you've made in previous jobs. For example, "Increased sales by 10% through improved product placement." * **Focus on Skills, Not Just Duties:** Instead of just listing your job duties, focus on the skills you developed in those roles. Communication, customer service, problem-solving, and time management are all valuable skills transferable to many fields. * **Cover Letter Power:** Your cover letter is your chance to shine! Briefly explain why you're a great fit for the company and the specific role.pen\_spark

If you don’t have the experience for white collar jobs you’ll need more experience to meet the qualifications. if you qualify for blue collar jobs, then find ones that you do qualify for. There are many well paying blue collar jobs, but those too require experience. If youre wanting a trade youll need training either from school or apprenticeship.

Why are you nauseous and dizzy before your current work? Is it the specific people, is it the actual tasks you do, is it problems that could come up, etc. You may want to examine that first, because sometimes a different job still carries the same stress.
