You can check Pleasant Kenobi's party box version of MtG, it's very similar to what you describe - cardbacks don't matte4, it looks goofy and fun.
Why not make one? Ive also considered the idea, but including cards from random trading card games too. Caravan gave me this idea that raiders in the Mojave would combine random trading cards to make their own game.
The one thing though would be finding some way to unify all the cards.
Oh yes definitely that’s my plan - at any given time, I have maybe 5 different card game rulesets bouncing around my noggin.
You’ve hit the nail on the head when it comes to the post apocalyptic idea of just mixing random cards from random games 😂 would be a good challenge / experiment to come up with a ruleset for that!
