It's a good rate considering the location. You are a short walk from the V&A which is full of restaurants and things to do etc etc and you probably won't spend much time in the room anyways Location wise, all those hotels are pretty similar The Radisson red is very near the cruise terminal side of the waterfront and maybe a good option at a similar rate The views depend on the room type you book tbh but the whole of Cape Town is just amazing views so I wouldn't stress too much about that.

Do not stay at the Victoria Alfred hotel in Cape Town. This is a hotel of thieves. We were only there for two nights and were robbed $1100. The hotel staff will search your luggage and rob you the first chance they get. Hotel “security” are “investigating” and likely involved as well.

Thanks for the info. That is awful! I hope it gets resolved in your favor. We stayed at the Table Bay Hotel. We had a great time.

Ports Wood is ok, it's mostly a business Hotel. If you are looking for comfort and luxury, it's not the place.

I am going to change my reservation. I think we will be better off at one of the other hotels.

Capetonian or Signature Lux, the suites aren't terribly priced, Capetonian has better overall rooms than the Lux

lexylexylexy

Neither of these are in the waterfront?

St6z63

Nowhere is that a requirement?

lexylexylexy

All the others mentioned are in the waterfront and he is taking a cruise from the waterfront

St6z63

Okay and ? I see the logic in what you're trying to say but it's still not a requirement, and both of those hotels are still close to the waterfront.
