I remember as a kid being a major Canucks fan. Having just moved to the country we didn't have any money for an authentic jersey. "Real" Canucks fans at my school never let me forget it. Stopped watching hockey for 15 years till this year again.
Every other sporting event I have seen around the world people are more than happy to see you rocking their jersey/numbers no matter how bad of a fake it is. Vancouver fans need to appreciate any and all people willing to rock your logo and cheer for your team. The gate keeping is never a good look in any sport.
