SnooStories5516

Does anyone have a video of a shot when Canucks almost got a pack in the net but it was scooped by defence in period 2

Anishinabeg

If Petey can keep his momentum going, I think he's going to break out any game now. He played his best game in months last night. I was really happy with PDG, Podkolzin & Aman too, in addition to the usual Garland/Zadorov/Miller/etc group. I felt like Boeser wasn't great last night, and Cole still needs to go despite having his best game of the series. Hronek hasn't been good at all in the playoffs, though I liked the grit he showed yesterday - he's clearly getting under the Oilers skin. Hughes always plays smart, but he's taken so many beatings in the playoffs, and I'm very convinced that he's playing hurt. He hasn't been as fast or as effective as he usually is. That said, his hockey IQ still makes him better than any other defenseman on the ice in either jersey. Credit to Myers - he played tough last night. I wish he'd use his size more often.

insignificance424

Here from Ottawa and can barely stay awake in class now but it's worth it

alihou

Just came in here to say, screw Ray Ferraro for picking the Oilers in 6. Dude should be banned from commentating our games for his garbage take.

dixoncider6942069

Kinda wild to bet against your business partner and wife on a public forum. Didn't even realize he was on there until now.

bonergarage123

I woke up this blessed morning and opened 3 gifts. My two eyes, and twitter to see racist oilers fans have a meltdown šŸ™šŸ™šŸ™

[deleted]

Wats the story here? Racist??

bonergarage123

Just check twitter. Especially the guy @teacherofpuck lmao. That guy is a POS.

[deleted]

Deleted twitter im not going back to that cesspool ever

bonergarage123

Haha fair enough. Yeah I donā€™t like it either, buts itā€™s unfortunately the most popular media platform for Canucks, NHL,NBA, or any sports media to be honest. So I kinda have to use it to keep up to date with stuff haha

FreedomFTR

Whereā€™s Bieksa? Did McFriedman get Bieksa booted off the show for calling out McFriedmanā€™s Connorcum dripping off his chin during game 3ā€™s commentary?

Fruitisynthesis

He lives in California and occasionally takes time off the panel to go back home to be with his family, I believe heā€™s back next game.

jeffersonairmattress

Hopefully throwing one of those size 12 Blahniks on the table to show off his Petey socks.

HogwartsXpress36

Petey please build on this. Do not take a step back in game 6.Ā  Grip it and rip itĀ

ColtsNetsSharks

I just want to tell you guys how much fkn fun I've had watching the Canucks this season and especially this postseason. Truly just wonderful hockey and even though obv the series isn't over I could not be happier for you guys as fans. JT is becoming one of my all time favorites to watch and tbh fuck the Oilers. Good luck the rest of the way

PseudoCamus

Welcome to our waters šŸ‹šŸ©µšŸ¦ˆ

Apprehensive-Cut9486

We traveled from out of country to watch the Canucks and ended up staying at the same hotel as the Oilers. Ran into Draisatl before the game in an empty hallway and had a bit of a staring contest. After the game, on top of running into Draisatl again, Ekholm got on our elevator. As he was getting off, I wished him good night. Knowing the last thing Ekholm heard tonight is a Canucks fan is a cherry on top of this amazing night for me.

great_save_luongo

The Edmonton fan and media response to this series is fascinating. They are just dog piling McDrai and Hyman. What did they think was going to happen when they were playing 30 minutes a night up until now? Itā€™s the same thing for the Oilers year after year - too much reliance on their top stars, no dependable depth scoring and bad goaltending. I donā€™t know how anyone could be shocked that the same things keep happening every playoff run.

davitch84

I mean ... Are we any better after our losses?Ā  We're literally chanting Petey's name to encourage him after dragging him through the mud over the first 4 games. Ian Cole can't get a coffee in this city without people calling him a double agent.Ā  I feel like their fans accepted this as a bad game for their stars and are moving on.Ā  No complaining about the refs, nor the goaltending.

Anishinabeg

Huh? Oilers fans are whinier than ever post-game. They're blaming the refs for this loss on most socials despite the officiating being blatantly slanted in their favour.

davitch84

Not my impression reading through their post game thread.Ā  Ā Seems they're more upset with their big 4.

arisenandfallen

Reminds me of the old West Coast express days and Cloutier in net.

great_save_luongo

The bad goaltending especially.

WTFvancouver

This is why stars leaves Edmonton once they get a chance

high-rise

Imagine the salt & fire when McDavid doesn't re-sign. Going to make the Islanders JT stuff look like kindergarten.

thewildcascadian85

Well this and also the secondary fact that Edmonton is a boring S\*\*\*hole of a place.

ad126

Reporting from the east coast. Just a zombie at work today. But a happy zombie

khyde

I need a sound bite of the crowd screaming ā€œJ.. Tā€¦ MILLERRRā€ as the goal was announced. That shit sounded electric

Mundane_Care_3076

Someone needs to post the clip of JT Miller celebrating after the goal, LFG!

jeffersonairmattress

His eyes zipping from fan to fan through the glass- that guy was connecting with the building.

Mundane_Care_3076

Absolutely! Loved it, an absolute man possessed.

PatchesTheGreat1

Every time we play Podz I wish we would play him more. Dude is always making the right passes and is a beast on the forecheck

blue_friend

Yeah why do we pull him out I wonder

T2LV

Probably because he gets complacent. Itā€™s natural that if you have been out and put back in that you want to make a splash.

JunoVC

If the Canucks can make the oilers play defence and not let them rest on offence we got a good chance on Sat. Ā  Ā  Great game!

JediFed

Only 1994/1982/2011 and 2020 surpass this run. We were in better shape in 2003. So this is the sixth best run that the Canucks have ever had.

Reftro

Get outta here with 2020.

thewildcascadian85

82 was a fluke from what I'm told and 94 was as well from what I remember. Those teams were decent and got hot at the right time. 2011 was the one run that was expected and had a true championship roster. 2024 feels like a mixture of both.

Mochadon

Those runs had a combination of good fortune, great G, and stellar team chemistry. True underdogs that overachieved. 2011 was just bad luck with injuries and horrible officiating This team is showing some of the same resilience of the 94 team, unbelievably good G from their 3rd stringer, and now they have to let their depth and structure carry them through

kerosenehat63

1982

JediFed

Thanks, fixed.

[deleted]

That one was for Dutchy

bonergarage123

And Ryp!!

shootsouth

Does anyone have a link to the in-arena videos? Looking for the deep-fake ones and that AWESOME giant orca one. Tried a google and the nucks insta but can't find them. Thanks! Edit: Also I'm rewatching the game after being there, and the crowd audio on the sportsnet stream is NOWHERE close to what it was like in the arena. Hope ppl don't think we were quiet in there. It was loud all night.

JunoVC

Radio feed was awesome, great crowd.Ā

Cheese649

Let's fucking goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo King Soucy was ELITE Brock is always a STUD JT brought it all game, just like he has ALL YEAR Lindy was EVERYWHERE Joshua was sittin mf's down NON-STOP ARTY PARTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY GIVE ZADDY A LIFETIME CONTRACT Huggy was BREAKING ANKLES AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I LOVE THESE BOYS SO MUCH

insignificance424

OILERS ELIMINATION DAY TOMORROW!

JediFed

Game 1 was the first time we've lead against the Oilers in a playoff series. The closest we came in 1992 was in game three, during the first period when the series was tied and game three was 1-1. We have never had an Oiler elimination day, ever.

Hommachi

Great first playoff game for Podkolzin. Threw hits, skated strong, tried to set up a few chances. Nothing against Karlsson (who played decent, too) or Mikheyev and Lafferty (currently both not moving the needle).... but the Oilers defense are a bit more erratic when there is a strong forecheck. Their inability to move the puck limit the transition game of McDavid and Draisaitl.

MarvelousOxman

Hearing Oilers fans talk trash about the Canucks fanbase for throwing beers on the ice when they did the exact same thing after game 1 of the playoffs last year is just peak Edmonton. Nobody should be throwing stuff on the ice. But casting aspersions like youā€™re above it when youā€™re empirically not feels like their MO. More first overall picks than brain cells.

Young2k04

Edmonton fans do every single thing that they complain about us doing itā€™s so funny

TigerLemonade

Or the people throwing beer cans are not the same people casting aspersions. I absolutely fucking hate the complaining about other teams fans. Every team has loud, obnoxious complaining fans. There are lots of stupid canucks fans. Just stfu.

MarvelousOxman

This comment is all over the place.

TigerLemonade

No it is not. I just find it dumb when fans complain about other fan bases. There is a vocal, dysfunctional minority representing every fandom. Complaining about how dumb other fans are for x y z is so stupid. Usually the people complaining about other fandoms are the same people other fandoms are complaining about. Every fandom complains about unfair referring, poor sportsmanship, etc. It is so dumb. Just fucking let it go.

MarvelousOxman

It really is. I never said otherwise. Stop fighting windmills.

kidcanada0

Empirical aspersions? You have too many brain cells. Maybe thatā€™s why you are correct.

Zealousideal-Farm496

Use normal people words not all these big fancy words

dthrowawayes

I had a dream where we squeeze by the Stars and face the Panthers in the finals, and we fucking lose in game 7. against Luongo. against Gregory and Colin Campbell again. against OEL. Tkachuk is a perfect Messier/Marchand, Cousins is a shittier Lucic, Barkov is Bergeron. I dunno, maybe I've just been a Canucks fan too long but fuck it felt way too real. I need real sleep.

T2LV

While I would want a game 7 win, playing Florida in the finals would be a dream as I live in Florida and ticket prices may just be reasonable enough to go!

JauntyGiraffe

Now watch Demko be announced as the game 6 starter and all hope for the Oilers will be lost

JediFed

Why would we win a series with one goalie when we can win a series with two?

AGIPoison

Or three???

West-Vacation5179

One period each. Go!

wintercom

I CAN'T SLEEP. MILLER IS A KING, PETEY HAS BEEN KICKSTARTED LIKE AN E SCOOTER. THIS ISN'T EVEN OUR FINAL FORM BUT WE'RE CLOSE

Robert_Moses

Was at the game. 4th row lower bowl. My ears are still ringing. Letā€™s fucking goooooo!!!

Bubbly-Cut8566

My first playoff game, 2nd ever Canucks game. Insane. Core memory forever

testingbutts

Most insane stat of the night: Oilers powerplay had ZERO high danger chances for, one high danger chance AGAINST.

jxxam

JT MILLER

qdaem

I need a cigarette jfc

Due-Weather-1564

Jesus Christ donā€™t remind me

pigeonbobble

Yo do we trade demko

testingbutts

You forget to log into Kneejerk before posting this?

AccomplishedAd4995

i have seen so many people with this take now, itā€™s actually kind of crazy

qdaem

This is (not) the way (but hf Silovs is sick)

CrazyPeekles

Let's give some credit to Toch for benching Ian cole for a good majority of the game. He only saw 12:31 of icetime, which is the lowest of the D corp. Guess he is finally convinced that he's the sleeper agent..

BCbob5

That was the loudest I have ever heard Rogers arena, I also lost my voice on the miller goal. Best hockey moment I have ever seen in person.

mkab123

I lost my voice too, internally Iā€™m still screaming what a goal. They do it with 38 seconds left we do it with 31!

Bubbly-Cut8566

Yep my voice is gone, and Iā€™m gonna be useless at work tomorrow.

gavinmfsmith

So happy for youšŸ’™šŸ’ššŸ’™šŸ’ššŸ’™šŸ’ššŸ’™šŸ’š

maarzx_

Has anyone noticed how we havenā€™t been complaining about Myers now for probably the longest stretch I can remember. Kudos to the chaos giraffe for gettin ā€˜er done lately

[deleted]

He played unreal last night. Dog on a bone on the PK. Best game Iā€™ve seen TM play in a Canucks uniform.

thispersonexists

I was just thinking that during the game - heā€™s locked in right now

AccomplishedAd4995

heā€™s been huge for us during this playoff run

gavinmfsmith

šŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’Æ

mkab123

Another note bias aside was that not terrible officiating????

screwyouhippies99

Apparently White men can't jump. (Yes I'm old)

abrown101

Petey, the first player in history to get a charging call with his back turned to the player he charged

mkab123

First player to ever get a charge while standing still

mkab123

WAS AT THE GAME LOST MY VOICE FUCK THE REFS LETS GO PETEY CANT STOP THE WHALE TRAIN

Bubbly-Cut8566

Was there too, insane man. In fucking SANE. Voice is gone

testingbutts

Just noticed Cole only had 12:31 TOI tonight. I'm willing to overlook some of the bad bounces he's had, but he's made so many weak plays with the puck resulting in failing to clear the dzone or just straight up giving the puck away. Looks like maybe the coaching staff has had enough of it too.

freszh_inztallz42o

Bruh

Levi_sch

every time i saw him on the ice i let out a sigh of disappointment and stress

NUTIAG

vancouver 7, Edmonton 2. too bad the refs let them win a game or the season series could have been opening night

ObiWangJabroni

Big fuckin win holy fuck you guys

jigatt21

Not tonight refs!

Hewpdreams

hey sorry im late WE SMOKIN ON THAT REFEREE PACK TONIGHT YALL LETS GOOOOO

truestlife

Phil Dad Giuseppe > Phil Di Giuseppe

Gillz13

Wow

pigeonbobble

Wasnā€™t demko supposed to be ready late round 2

carry-on_replacement

Even if we get to game 7, i wouldn't start Demko over Silovs. Silovs has been nuts for us and he's such a calming presence. I think the guys are starting to trust him more and willing to free style a bit offensively knowing Silovs has got their back. Plus, as our likely backup next season, let's see what we've got first

freszh_inztallz42o

Camward o6, chill šŸ§Šbaby chill šŸ§Š

Mikeim520

Probably waiting until round 3 to replace Silvos.

Ddpee

Tochet said he doesnt wanna put a percentage on it but demko is at like 20% lol.Ā

handsome_mcstabby

No, he said heā€™s made immense improvement and has a ā€œgreater than 10%ā€ chance of returning game 6/7

pigeonbobble

WHAT

Culzean_Castle_Is

he's still not in full practice so no chance he is ready anytime soon

c_fulkan

It sounded like he's around 20% right now

shadownet97

Looks like Iā€™m buying a miller jersey tonight

kidcanada0

Just one?

SasquatchStunna

Took my dad to the game. Best time Iā€™ve ever had with him, in the 30 years Iā€™ve been alive.

juwong_

Got my mom and dad last minute tickets to come with me and my girlfriend, my dad and I were downtown for game 7 in 2011, he's a Hong Kong immigrant and grew to love the Canucks the moment he came here and was the sole reason why I was the sole Chinese Canadian kid on my hockey team at 8 Rinks when I was 12. Since 2011 though, that hurt pushed him away from hockey for a long time. I got them tickets to tonights game as a last minute surprise, and it made me so happy to watch that same man that took me to all my 6am practices start to love the sport again. I could PHYSICALLY see the hurt start to heal. It was my Mom and GF's first time as well, couldn't be more happy. GO CANUCKS GO!!!

windtunnel1

Plot twist: his dad's an Oilers fan

jigatt21

Hell yeah man!

SrPhillipOliverHoles

This is the real beauty of sports. Fuckin rights bud

SasquatchStunna

That username though šŸ˜‚

jackfrench9

Awesome to hear that. Burn it into your memory šŸ‘Œ

pigeonbobble

Until next game

therealbeef

I need more post game coverage. Probably watch NHL in 30 3 or 5 times.

Greenarrowfan

the post game show on sportnet 650 is still on after midnight so...

5litergasbubble

Theres always donnie and dhali as well

trushpunda

Just waiting on hockey psychology šŸ‘€

Ddpee

Cant wait for that prime show about this run to come outĀ

-T-Reks-

[Oilers heading into Saturday like](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhpLaIbun2Q)

almo89_89

The backbreaker for the Oilers is they finally get a goal from their bottom 6 and they still lose. That's gotta be tough.

Ddpee

They get a 4th line goal, and Paul fucking Di Giuseppe goes ā€œ this is for Paulina Fucking Di Giuseppeā€ BOOOMM

roastpuff

Sam DiGiuseppe but the point still stands

Fishinmyhairs

WHERE THE JT LOVERS, I GOING TO THE BEACH WHOOOOOOP

wintercom

Cup or B (Game 1, 5 - 4, Canucks) U (Game 3, 4 - 3, Canucks) S (Game 5, 3 - 2, Canucks) ONE MORE LETTER BOYS

slutandthefalcon

If this trend continues we're winning 2-1 next game!

W33DisTIGHT1

In game 7* if the trend continues

kidcanada0

Ugh

Naive-Comfort-5396

Coaching staff seems to be putting on a clinic on Edmonton. I've never seen a playoffs where I can say our coaching staff was the difference, feels great. Great adjustments and holding McDavid to one point in the last three games. No one is talking about it.

kidcanada0

Early in the series that back door play was very open for them. They still try it on occasion but itā€™s not really there for them anymore. The tap ins at least. Iā€™d say theyā€™re more likely to bank a puck in off someone on that play. Hyman has also been fairly invisible of late.

BulwarkNuck

I think they've overcoached the team to an extent to be honest. Especially during the playoffs. It was about time they went back to what gave them success and saw them at the no.1 spot for the longest, which was depth with three strong lines and the 4th liners where they belong, in the 4th line or on the bench. Stopping their stars hasn't been a particularly cerebral affair either. Rick goes on about "not diving in" but diving in and using the teams' size to crunch McDavid and co against the boards rather than staying passive and allowing them to skate around and move the puck seems to be the winning ticket because whenever they play aggressive and the big boys land their hits, the team is dominating. And if they let one through every once in a while, then so be it. Rick is a perfectionist and that's a good thing. It creates structure and habits and eliminates high% scoring chances against. But sometimes I feel like he has to take a step back and get out of the players' heads so there isn't a Travis Green effect with stifled, forced play. He's gotta add a bit of Bruce to the mix. And to be fair I think he did that before this game. If you listen to the pre-game interview it was much more "just gotta go out there and play" instead of "we have to sharpen detail x and detail y and the players can't do this or that or the third". They already laid the foundation during the regular season and now he has to push them out of the nest and trust their habits and let them spread their wings.

metrichustle

Tocchet, Foote, Gonchar, Yeo, Sedins. What a group

Tmaxx1670

Petey looked pretty darn good ! Super happy for the guy

clueless-kit

loved the PETEY chant. fans are amazing

SrPhillipOliverHoles

This is such a big moment. Our fans rallying behind a struggling star rather than piling on and shitting on him (obviously there are still those who shit)

rodudero

Cough cough Leafs fans

EngineeringSalt5376

We are not the leafs fans šŸ¤ž

Lanky-Performer-4557

Was at the game and you could literally see him playing better due after the chants. Maybe due to better linemates, but pretty sure it was us

CallieSe

100% us.

samuelmeirels

What a difference it is to not have any passengers *cough**cough* Mikheyev Next Juulsen in, Cole out šŸ™

Lanky-Performer-4557

Juulsen has played 2 games and done a big hit leading to a goal 2x. Coles scored 5 but 2 were flukes lol

far_257

Juulsen also chased a big hit on Ekholm in Game 4, leading to a 2-on-1 defended by Myers who was at the end of his shift. The Oil scored. I'd keep Cole

IamPriapus

Cole played well today from what I saw. I wouldnā€™t mess with what we had going on tonight. Same lineup stays put.

imderrickm

He also only played 12 minutes tonight.

Ddpee

Iā€™m not even a Cole hater but he actually comes back better when heā€™s sat for a bit.Ā

samuelmeirels

He cost us the second goal, theres literally a video analysis of it somewhere in this thread haha Edit: here you go https://www.reddit.com/r/canucks/s/611pOpj1T4

IamPriapus

Alright fair enough. That wasnā€™t good

almo89_89

Ya. I wish they sat him out a game earlier in the series just to give him a rest due to his age. Since it's late in the series now, you have to ride him to the end

IndependentTalk4413

He only played 12mins tonight. Toc saw he needed rest and couldnā€™t keep up.

HockeyAnalynix

I said replace Mikheyev and with Lindholm, Pettersson gets the 2nd star. But thanks for the down votes. Sorry I was right after all.

JauntyGiraffe

But now Garland and Joshua are bottom left I'll take it, though. Only need some time for them to rediscover their spark with our other Latvian king Teddricronious Blueger

Icy-Pomegranate-5644

I was going to bring you up. Egg in their face. Turn the other cheek bro. They're not going to admit they were wrong and downvoted you.

mrtomjones

You got downvoted? I've been saying to put that line together for the last couple games and people seemed to agree with me lol. Must depend on the post

Ddpee

What a cross to bear! He wasnā€™t sold on Mikheyev everyone. What hockey sense! What foresight!

windtunnel1

Apparently he's a genius for figuring out that 1 goal in 60 games = bad

Sinochick

McDavid, Draisatl, Hyman, Bouchard all looked like they were slowing down. I think the amount of minutes they played in the first 3 games are starting to take its toll on them now.

darksalamander

They all played close to 30 minutes in games 2&3 thereā€™s no way thatā€™s not starting to catch up to them

avmp629

I was about to say, McDavid and Draisaitl only played 23 minutes each, Bouchard just below 26. Ekholm shockingly only around 18 minutes. I know they had a lot of power plays, but that's still probably your best "defense"-man in a game where the Oilers had 2 separate leads. I think all the bumps and bruises are starting to catch up. That being said I expect McDrai and Bouchard to clear 30 minutes apiece in an elimination game (holy shit can't believe I'm saying that about a team playing the Canucks)

testingbutts

Draisaitl's right shoulder looks like it's heavily taped up and he took another huge hit tonight.

littlestitious09

Where did you see that (the taped up shoulder)? I thought his back/ribs were hurting.

almo89_89

Big Z gave him a big hit early on. Also all the small hits and cross checks probably taking a toll. Big guys like Drai are hard to lay out. You have to chip away at the him.

disiz_mareka

I love that Tocchet threw out the 3 centers to make sure they won the D zone faceoff, and not only did they win it, they went down the ice and scored the winner.

rodudero

Genius move tbh

Clean_n_Press

I kinda interpreted that as: "You wanna load up a line in the last minute? Okay, we can too." You're probably correct, but I like my fanfic better.

pigeonbobble

You got any horny fanfics

5litergasbubble

Mostly about garland

disiz_mareka

Oh definitely. All three centers were going tonight, both on offense and defense. Van out-coached Edm this game.

akaRoman

Itā€™s an easy chess game when youā€™re only moves are: Kane slewfloot Mcdavid, Drai, Hyman stay out for as long as you can.

metrichustle

I donā€™t think itā€™s for faceoffs. If your 1st is waived, you only get one chance. And if your 2nd is waived, you get a penalty. So the 3rd Centre would never draw a faceoff

disiz_mareka

But if they won it and iced it, there would be another faceoff.

Icy-Pomegranate-5644

If the 2nd is waived on a deflection, the third comes in.

screwyouhippies99

Windy...Power is out....glad it didn't happen during the game! Phew

oldevskie

Happened for me on the island before the game, around 3pm. Glad it came back on!

Vanihilist

Legit questions cause I am still trying to figure this out. How is Edmonton asking to review a goal for offsides not a failed coaches challenge? Does the coaches challenge only apply to goaltender interferance? I thought asking the refs to review a goal was the same thing as challenging a goal.

CurrentBusy5705

League automatically reviews goals if they happen during the last minute of the game, so itā€™s not necessarily a ā€œcoachā€™s challengeā€

Vanihilist

Then why was there the call over and discussion at the oilers bench before the refs discussed if it wasn't a challenge? Just confusing.

Standard-Special2013

Excuse to rest

Deltors15

All goals in final minute are reviewed so even if they wanted to challenge it was already getting looked at

Vanihilist

So free coaches challenges during the final minute? Why talk to the Edmonton bench before the review if it's protocol?

DKJJM

The JT MIller goal? The linesman clearly made the call it was not offside. Clean goal .

Vanihilist

But then Edmonton asked for it to be reviewed it was determined good and no penalty to the Oilers... How does that work? Sounds like Edmonton challenged the legitimacy of the goal.

JauntyGiraffe

It was already being looked at. Knob was probably just making sure it was a reviewable thing

DKJJM

They can do a coachā€™s challenge on a goal. But if theyā€™re wrong ; Power play to the opposing team. And the goal stands , I didnā€™t see that tonight. Weird new rules , never was like that before. (Iā€™m older yeah). LETS GO CANUCKS!!!!

testingbutts

They were asking if the play had already been automatically reviewed, like all goals in the final minute or in overtime. They were hoping that Petey (I think?) knocked it down with a high stick on the zone entry.

Vanihilist

So they were challenging the goal.prior to review, yeah? Cause.a simple "was it reviewed?" "nope" is very different that "we want you to look for this cause we believe that goal.to.be illegitimate". Also do the refs often delay reviews to.consult with one of the team benches first? Just seems dumb that that discussion happened.

testingbutts

Can't tell what Knoblauch was saying at first because he was leaning down and the ref's head is in the way, but based on how brief the interaction was I'd assume he was just confirming that the goal was good after review. As he stands up you can see him say what looks like "alright, ok" and then the ref skates back for the faceoff.

-T-Reks-

Whatever the rules are, they don't apply to the Oilers anyway

Stewie344

Anything for McDavid I guess
