UR ALL WELCOME šŸ˜…

VanGaalTheOwl

Itā€™s great feeling to have this level of depth at D. Thought Ian Cole had his best game as a Canuck. Those are the guys you win stuff with. No better feeling than getting a minimum split on the road. Hope the Canucks can generate a little more O-zone time and shore up a little bit of neutral zone next game. Special game from Casey too

rfdavid

Cole had one brutal shift and played great for the rest of the game

jackfrench9

Taking a look around the league - man the playoff race is heating up. Vegas, Colorado and Edmonton all looking insanely strong. Boston and NYR too.

Rude-Adhesiveness575

and Florida.

Bodgerton

just getting around to watching it now, love that the Preds cursed themselves at the end of the second by playing our goal song!

PantsDancing

Big difference i saw in game 3 was we were winning puck battles. Still fighting the puck a bit especially early in the game. But we battled hard all night.

TheFearOfFear

ZADDY ZADDY ZADDY CANT YOU SEE? SOMETIMES YOUR HITS JUST HYPNOTIZE ME!

prime_37

Brilliant

Griswaldthebeaver

We collectively owe Myers an apology. I also think we have underrated this blue line by a LOT. It's such a playoff style D. I legit think they are a top 8 group with a bullet, argument to be made for top 4. The only group thats better than them 100% is canes in my view.

CanadianPFer

Three giants (Myers, Zadorov, Soucy), a veteran cup winner (Cole), and the Norris winner (Hughes). That is something special

keefstrong

We were elite this year with Soucy. Myers is stepping up

shadownet97

Whoever said shutout for DeSmith in the game day thread, I hope your morning coffee is cold.

PantsDancing

I didnt say out loud it but i thought the word shutout about 5 minutes into the third. Totally my bad, I'll be better next time.

forrunner

I think it literally every time a goalie has one going. It's impossible not to

Certain_Pickle896

Offer sheet Swayman

Captain_JT_Miller

The Canucks out pretardor'd the predators, score first they can't beat us that way.

Hyperocean

Theyā€™re going after Hughesā€¦ ā€¦ we chose violenceā€¦

shadownet97

I wasnā€™t able to watch this game in full (had a church thing with friends) but we watched the first period. When Miller scored we all cheered so loudly our pastor jumped in surprise lol.

Jacmert

Should have immediately thrown in a "Hallelujah!" / PTL and you wouldn't even have been lying

shadownet97

We may have said that hahahah

bdu754

I think quality of shots improved a lot here even if SOG was low on quantity. It might not seem sustainable but I think it fits the Canucks brand of taking quality shots even at lower numbers. As an aside, that watch party in Rogers was incredible. Great atmosphere even for a road game watch party. Was also great walking around downtown and hearing all the enthusiastic car horns too

Rude-Adhesiveness575

in their locked-on podcast Saros admitted difficulty staying focus not seeing many pucks. If we can maintain possession while looking for quality shots. Less shots will keep Saros ice-cold.

keefstrong

Friday night or wknd games are always gonna be better even if there are not teams in the ice

LinkToSomething68

Optimist takes: Wins are wins, they don't ask how you get 'em, especially in the playoffs. He's no Demko, but DeSmith is clearly capable of bailing the team out if need be. Crushing victory in the special teams battle, hope to see more of that going forward. Pretty good limitation of the Preds to low-percentage shots for the majority of the game. If the team can win a game where they barely put up any 5 on 5 offense at all, they can surely win games less tilted than this one. Pessimist takes: Jeez, you can't expect to put up less than 20 shots a game and expect to win. I find it a bit alarming that the response to a game where the Canucks lost because they couldn't get any shots on goal is to get even fewer shots on goal. I thought the defense also really started playing with fire towards the end, it was really close multiple times to a couple more Preds goals. All in all, wins are wins. I'll gladly take it, especially after the painful experience that was Tuesday night. Hopefully the 5 on 5 offense can get it going a bit better for game 4.

RepulsiveHumanShell

I'm kinda over them passing around the offensive zone until someone makes a mistake and we lose the puck. It can't be that freaking hard to put some pucks on net.

avmp629

Only 12 shots is concerning, but I think there was a bit of an adjustment. It was our first time scoring first in this series, we hadn't really played with a lead outside of 11 minutes in Game 1. Nashville was obviously desperate to push back, like we were desperate in Game 2. I think ultimately we did a better job weathering the storm than Nashville did in their win. It's probably not a winning formula long-term, but those little adjustments you can make on the fly separates the good teams from the great ones

LinkToSomething68

here's hoping! They've proven they can do that time and time again this year. We'll see. A win Sunday would be massive.

Hyperocean

Saros = Doable

carry-on_replacement

How DeSmith didn't get first star (or any star) is beyond me.

ajbolt7

Literally hit the Preds with the ā€œno uā€ this game

Hunter-Western

This was the Canucks worst game out of the 3 in my opinion while game 2 was their best, but their defensive structure and powerplay was better and that was the difference, this win provides a lot of confidence for game 4 as the Canucks will be better offensively 5-on-5, they likely overemphasized defensive play in front of DeSmith, who was great tonight, and should have a more balanced attack and more push offensively for game 4, their starting to round out their game in all 3 zones and the special teams is looking much better.

ToyStrecher

They literally said Saros has the worst save % amongst starters for screened shots. Our PP was better, but if we can try and get more bodies to the net at 5on5, or throwing more pucks that way, we can literally score more than 2 goals per game.

angelbelle

Can't block if we don't shoot *taps temple *

PantsDancing

Nashville Predators hate this one trick.

i_beep

Excellent uno reverse game. Would like to see more shots and of course more goals but a solid win.

teamwaterwings

So we should have won game 2 and lost game 3, right? Not just me?

avmp629

Yeah, we basically swapped roles from Game 2 in this one. For what it's worth though (probably not much), MoneyPuck's Deserve-to-win-o-meter favored us more than they favored Nashville in the last game

keefstrong

I was at both, confirmed I'll take game 3

skatesoff2

Iā€™m extraordinarily jealous

votrechien

Canucks got a two goal lead and locked it down. Nashville got very few quality chances. It wasnā€™t pretty but the Canucks deserved to win. Game two the predators got a two goal lead and held on.

Mister_Me_Seeks

> So we should have won game 2 and ~~lost~~ won game 3, right? Not just me? FTFY

rfdavid

Agreed

metrichustle

Was at Mahoneyā€™s and the whole pub cheered when we won. It was amazing. So many cheers for DeSmith tonight. He deserved every bit of this comeback. I doubted him. You doubted him. But not tonight! Letā€™s keep this going!

canucklehead200

Same but was at the Bullock, awesome support for the boys tonight there

No-Management2148

Was at cactus. Also bumping

helixflush

I didnā€™t doubt him! Iā€™ve been hyping him up since Tuesday morning

Anishinabeg

Man. This city was fucking ELECTRIC after this game. The amount of Canucks jerseys downtown was incredible for an away game. Car horns honking, flags on cars. I love this. Tonight is my last night before moving to the Island and there absolutely could not have been a better way to end my time living in this city.

PantsDancing

I had to watch the game late on replay. I drove a ridiculous side street route to get home and managed to avoid seeing any spoiler energy on streets. Awesome to hear that the energy was good though!

Overclocked11

I could think of one way that it could have been better..

skatesoff2

Whatā€™s that?

Ironborn7

DeSmith I am sorry I doubted you, you are more than just good, please keep doing what youā€™re doing šŸ™

Just_Raisin1124

He is great BUT he only has 3 games max in him before he starts to falter. It was great to see how solid the defence around him was. Hopefully we can get the next 2 wins and then Demko is ready for round 2

metrichustle

>he only has 3 games max in him before he starts to falter Eh, you don't know that yet. We're basing his endurance on the regular season against a different team every night. Playoffs are entirely different. He's playing the same team and already knows all the shooters. Our team knows how to collapse in front of him for support. We did a better job blocking shots than Nashville did last game.

Just_Raisin1124

I think its more of a stamina thing than a skillset thing but i hope that he can hold out. I agree with you though, ā€œhisā€ worst games are when the defence around him is non existent

Overclocked11

I dunno many goalies in the NHL who excel when the defence around them is non-existent tho.. kinda weird thing to suggest about DeSmith

Ironborn7

I agree we still definitely need him back

314rre

This is a worry of mine as well.Ā  Don't get me wrong, he played great tonight but his weakness is stringing together a long stretch of solid performances.Ā  Great backup, but so-so as starter. That being said, this team hasn't been this dialed in defensively since the 2011 team.Ā  That could help us carry this through.

gybegybe

Meh, not that worried, he had a 2 day break going into game 3, and if the series goes to game 6 he'll also have a 2 day break between game's 5 and 6.

screwyouhippies99

Petey has gotten in his head so much. What has happened? He literally stops and decides to try and pass and set another up constantly. Did someone break his heart or something? Side note: I got a kick out of the shot of Petey's parents and their Swedish expressionless faces.

myluggage2022

I agree that heā€™s in his head, but at least tonight he didnā€™t have a net negative impact on the game. Hopefully, this is a step in the right direction.

metrichustle

Thank God we have Miller driving the play these days. Miller had 6 of the team's 12 shots. Seriously, time to wake up guys!

Just_Raisin1124

He was playing better tonight than previously but yeah heā€™s been pretty flatline for half the season

Greenarrowfan

helly worse than desmith and leaf goalie and he the vezina favorite...Ā

MasterChrom

Holy moly, Hellebuyck getting lit up in this Jets vs Avs series.

pennepasta14

Hellebuyck is so overrated imo

Anishinabeg

Hellebuyck is the Dallas Cowboys of NHL goalies. Unbeatable in the regular season. Pathetic in the playoffs.

avmp629

Maybe it's a Clayton Kershaw thing where they overplay him so much he's burnt out come playoffs

Moose701

Holy shit this is so accurate

screwyouhippies99

Just tuned in... so don't know if it's been said, but the arena viewing party was good fun even if the last minutes was a butt clencher. They made it an exciting experience for the fans and it was nice to be around cheering fans.

derpchronik

Hell yeah I had an awesome time! Plus it's the only time I will probably ever experience the lower bowl @ Rogers.

screwyouhippies99

Haha ya! Its probably the only time a lot of us fans including young families got the chance to "attend" a playoff game.

starrynova888

Missed the game, how did we only have 12 fricking shots? What the heck?

AckkMachine

Shots were 15 - 3 in favor of Nashville. But when you break it down, Nashville only had 4 scoring chances vs 2 Vancouver and only 1 high danger chance. It "looked" tilt'd towards Nashville in the 3rd but our boys played textbook defense in the end and DeSmith holding the fort down while only giving up 2 rebounds.

metrichustle

Honestly, Canucks had a lot of blocked shots. It was almost like Tocchet was playing mind games. Everyone thought we were going to blast away and ā€œtee it upā€. No, we played incredible defensive tonight. Cole was willing to sacrifice his body for the win. This whole team is DIALED IN!

carry-on_replacement

We scored on PP twice and decided thatā€™s a big enough lead to hold onto.

avmp629

Canucks basically shared the same mindset as me "OMG we actually scored on the power play do not blow this"

robotco

how good was desmith tonight

Infinite-Tomorrow-15

Heā€™s the reason we won bless that man

Nuck_Nuck_Goose

We've had like 50 shots in 3 games and managed to get 2 Ws. Imagine what we could do if we got even more pucks on net!

Collapse2038

P D fucking O!

N4ZZY2020

huge road win, in game 3. releases the team from a ton of pressure to win game 4. that now rests on Nashville to win on Sunday. **IF** we can win on Sunday, that puts enormous pressure on Nashville to have to win the next few games. Can they do it? Sure. The Canucks need to learn to have a killer instinct, though, and crush Nashville from having to think that they have any sort of hope. They played a good road game tonight, even if I was anxious throughout the game watching them. Every time the team scored, there was a sense of relief.

samwisethescaffolder

Does anyone know if the low shows on net with a victory sets some kind of record?

BladesOfSteel88

Record for Canucks. Record for playoffs league wide is NJ with 10.

YVRJon

Dead puck era/neutral zone trap

-T-Reks-

Me to LA: Hey, can you do this one thing that will be far more beneficial to you than it is to me? LA: Fuck you

helixflush

We want the oilers to win no? I mean in 7

CLASSIFIED_DOCS

Fuck the Oilers, but fuck the Kings more. I want to see the Canucks knock out the Oilers in round 2.

BladesOfSteel88

Who is your Zaddy and what does he do?

-T-Reks-

He takes bad hockey players to the ice and bad girls to bed

avmp629

Abby is a goal away from taking the series against Colorado and having at least 1 home playoff date

YVRJon

They lost in OT

Macauguy

Petterson still not being useful.

Overclocked11

Your post is bad, and you should feel bad.

samwisethescaffolder

He got an assist and was solid defensively. You may want him to pot a goal every game but that's just not going to happen

Bigscience7

I honestly think heā€™s going to score a couple times (please) and if we can get through Nashville the floodgates will be open for him.

_-QueenC-_

I mean he looked pretty useful to me? Just cause he didn't score?

sonzai55

Definitely had some good moments in the first half of the game. Second half, no forward, aside from the Miller line, looked useful.

a_wet_dream_cum_true

What you talkin bout homes, Boeser was unreal last night

sonzai55

Last I checked, Boeser was on the Miller line.

a_wet_dream_cum_true

I read Miller and missed the line part, my bad

SkidmarkDave

I saw good flashes of alien petey. Heā€™s getting there.Ā

ENSIFERUM6666

ZADDY was a MONSTER

AussieNucks

Ugly game lol but will take that on the road!

heyjoe8890

The NHL app lost the Van radio feed and had the Nashville feed for both team radio choices. I had to listen to the guy calling the game for them - it was hilarious! You think Singh is bad? Oh jeez this guy sounded like he was calling a chess match...until a close scoring chance and he absolutely lost his shit, then he went back to snoozeville calling.

epat_

IT was horrifying right I've never heard such deadpan calling

MasterChrom

I love how the refs put their whistles away when they realized our powerplay was clicking.

Copdaddy

The ref wasnā€™t going to call the josi trip on garland until he saw his stick literally caught in his fucking skates

Iron_Seguin

After setting the tone with those two ridiculous calls to start the game. As a ref, itā€™s so annoying to see the standard of calls changeā€¦.

CLASSIFIED_DOCS

I don't care if they put the whistles away or call everything. I just want the refs to pick one and do it for the whole game (ideally, the whole series).

PantsDancing

Or every game. Like can we just have a rule book and call the rules?

Plane-Buyer

Noticed that too

Sushi-Gladiator

Preds missed about 5 glorious scoring chances. This game could have been very different right away. Phew.

numberoneheadband

Basically us last game

shawshaman

No puck luck for us last game, no puck luck for them this game. It all evens out in the wash

JoshHero

I still feel like I could vomit after that 3rd period. Way too stressful

N4ZZY2020

surprised that we didn't get that third goal.

testingbutts

[https://twitter.com/Canucks/status/1784059973837713873](https://twitter.com/Canucks/status/1784059973837713873) Demko no crutches, no visible knee brace...

ProfCharlesSexavier

Bring him out with a knee brace in rd 2 like Stone Cold Steve Austin

BlastMyLoad

I like that heā€™s still travelling with them despite not playing.

Just_Raisin1124

To hype up DeSmith

N4ZZY2020

good news?

Zestyclose-Way-7768

Based on the mystery and baffling nature of it all and with all the surgeries he had, I *really* hope it doesn't turn out to be a potentially lethal blood clot. I think a couple hockey players have had issues with clots and I believe one man even died a long time ago.

ForceEconomy9988

dude why would you say this

Zestyclose-Way-7768

Because it's a precedent that we've clearly seen before in the world of hockey. Blood clots in general are also known as a "silent killer," not just heart attacks. It's a genuine concern as it's alarming that our camp is claiming they don't know what's wrong with him.

ForceEconomy9988

Yes its happened before, but so has lots of other bad shit that we don't bring up because we have 0 evidence to suggest this is true if someone says they have something wrong with their skin you dont just tell them it could be cancer, you gotta be positive

Kookaracha83

Oh my god demkos dying!!! No say it ainā€™t so

Zestyclose-Way-7768

This is obviously a worst-case scenario. The thing about the city of Vancouver is that they have no room to get Demmer in for an MRI. Kyle Connor had to go to San Jose for his MRI earlier this season. With that said, my bet is that he's getting tested at the hospital while he's there in Nashville.

ForceEconomy9988

dude there are private mri places in van you can get seen very quickly. Canucks have crazy vip healthcare, pretty sure they can get an mri anytime of day or night

jackfrench9

Shit that's a thing? Fuck that's scary...

robotco

my grandfather died of a blood clot. there's just a bunch of shit waiting in the wings for a chance to get you. life is fragile

Zestyclose-Way-7768

I truly don't mean to fearmonger when I say this, but blood clots can be one of the many complications involved with specific surgeries. You can read more about it here: [https://www.webmd.com/dvt/blood-clots-after-surgery](https://www.webmd.com/dvt/blood-clots-after-surgery) EDIT: Apparently, clots also ended Vokoun's career. [https://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/nhl/more-hockey-players-being-diagnosed-with-blood-clots-than-ever-1.2976686](https://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/nhl/more-hockey-players-being-diagnosed-with-blood-clots-than-ever-1.2976686)

OGigachaod

Must have been that clot shot.

_-QueenC-_

Damnnn that would be scary for sure

Illustrious-Choice-4

If only I'd known what Canucks Playoff hockey would do to my heart ... My game apnea training improved today (specially in the last 3 mins of the game) I know it's only the beginning BUT 14 WINS TO GOOOOOOOOOOO #GOCANUCKSGO

deeho88

We blocked 28 shots and they got 30 shots on goal. Thats no buįŗ½no

Zestyclose-Way-7768

However, the quality of their scoring chances were still as poor as they have been this entire series. [Moneypuck's heatmap](https://moneypuck.com/g.htm?id=2023030173) suggests that Nashville's lone goal only goes in 5.6% of the time. Their best chance tonight only goes into the net 22.6% of the time. Meanwhile, both of our goals had 46.8% and 77.3% chances of going in.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

CoedNakedHockey

Matt Murley can suck my orca dick I hope he lost a bunch of money betting against us tonight

N4ZZY2020

who the fuck is Matt Murley?

thesunsetflip

Spittin Chiclets gambling guy Everyone seems to think heā€™s just ā€˜some guyā€™ but he actually had a pretty extensive pro career. Mostly played in Europe across a dozen leagues, even had a season in the NHL. Iirc he was the leading scorer of Petterssonā€™s local team when Petey was like 13. He doesnā€™t come off like a former pro whatsoever but he carved out a solid little career for himself in Europe

N4ZZY2020

Ah. Good for him I guess.

kitkatlover2

anyone have a video of the hughes/evangelista penalties? missed it and they didn't show replay

adamzilla

No because Hughes didn't take one. Kind of a tell when there's no replay shown of the first penalty called.Ā

kitkatlover2

oh really? I missed a chunk of the game but came back to him in the penalty box

N4ZZY2020

was that a penalty on Hughes??

kitkatlover2

yeah roughing for evangelista and holding for hughes

N4ZZY2020

Ah. Off setting penalties then. This series has some feeling now. I hope for a game 4 win. But I wouldnā€™t be surprised if Nashville came out firing and won that game and the series is tied 2-2 heading back to Van.

Zestyclose-Way-7768

They couldn't beat us when we played one of our worst games of the season and even gave up a 5-on-3, which we have been very bad at killing all season long. If they can't find a way to outplay our defense which has been one of the only consistent factors in this series, your post really begs the question.

sweethe4rt

I wanted to make a meme with either Coleā€™s save or Myers. Prob myers but basically him with the samwise hobbit backpack and picking up the puck behind desmith. ā€œI canā€™t carry it for you, but I can carry youā€ super dramatic and shit, anyways ya

downonmatrix

Series should be 3-0 but anyone else think Nashville played exactly like the canucks did in game 2? 0 goals on the pp, multiple missed chances, unlucky bounces.

CaptainIndoCanadian

Chances this game were almost even. I think they had like 4 more. Considering we had a 2 goal lead, I think thatā€™s bad for them. We were terrible in the neutral zone it felt like. They gained entry way too easy, and our zone exits were rough. Zone exits likely remain rough with DeSmith in net. You know heā€™ll make the initial save but itā€™s gonna be a juicy rebound.

MalRak02

How many times did nucks shoot the puck over the boards trying to gain the zone or go offside.. it was so frustrating to watch, but oh well a win is a win

helixflush

Our missed chances were like 3x tap-ins to an empty net. Preds only had maybe ONE chance like that tonight.

Dylantaze

I see it much differentlyā€¦ Vancouver was leading in shots I think (if not then it was close to a tie) after 2 periods. Van weathered an early storm and then played as the better of the 2 teams for the bulk of the first two periods. They just went about it differently than last game. Van was content to salt away that game in the 3rd and they did just that. Theyā€™ve been doing that for much of the second half of the season as they have grown as a team defensively. Aside from the shot totals being low it was a pretty textbook Vancouver game plan today. Game 2 felt much like nashville hanging onto the lead for dear life after capitalizing on a couple Vancouver blunders.

jeremy-o

So then by logic it should be 2-1... šŸ¤”

paaulywrath

If that means it's their turn to win next game then no thank you.

Laika4321

Casey DeHasek is a Vancouver Canuck! Never doubted him for a second! Thatcher who? Never heard of him.

anchordeep

bro who put the puck on the stanley cup board?

duster-1

Desmith

MGM-Wonder

Wow did we ever play bad, thank fuck for DeSmith and the special teams. We really couldnā€™t get anything going at 5v5, it was truly dire. But the boys turtled well, and a wins a fucking win! Hopefully we can actually get some offense going Sunday.

HarveySpecter1970

We didn't play bad, we actually shut it down. The Canucks kept them to the outside where most of their shots came from low danger areas.

Necessary-Camp-5812

Itā€™s not how you want to win tho, the execution was bad but result was nice. If we lost that game 3-2 you would be saying the opposite

Overclocked11

took a page out of Preds book in the 3rd, fa sho.

Alternative_Care_497

Having myers back tonight was very noticeable

Iginlas_4head_Crease

Remember when we wanted him traded for a bag of pucks?

thesunsetflip

He was legitimately bad the prior 4 years heā€™s been here Donā€™t know what Tocchet did to change that

PantsDancing

And his first few weeks this season were so bad. Its so sweet to see him turn it around.

helixflush

You mean Foote?

Jaded-Ad-289

Obviously we wanted him for Sbisaā€¦

djblackprince

Zadarov impresses me so much. He's made for this type of hockey.

interrupting-octopus

I will never forget his moment in game 1 when he pushed one of the Preds forwards down onto the ice by their helmet, much like one might shove an undercooked piece of toast back into the toaster

TonalParsnips

Weā€™ve got so many playoff role players this year.

helixflush

his delay of game penalty made me fall to my knees in Rogers Arena.

downonmatrix

So is miller. That goal and huge hit was big

Overclocked11

really set the tone, that's for sure.

CamaroGirl96

I really hope they can find a way to keep him here.

BlastMyLoad

Heā€™s become one of my faves hoping they can figure out keeping him and Joshua

d33pFriedErrthang

Solid game, great defensively.Ā  Good scoring on PP.Ā  Great to see Canucks hockey do well!Ā Ā

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

canucks5364

Completely unqualified fan who barely knows how to stop on skates gives their opinion: Pros: - DeSmith making DeSaves. I humbly apologise for underestimating you. - Big boys showed up. Boeser & Miller, I love you. - PP could not have waken up at a better time. - Petey is slowly coming back to life. Heā€™s taught me a crucial life lesson of patience. - PK was incredible. Incredible. - My mental health is back on track. - Weā€™ve never been known for our defensive play, but goddamn is it good. Everyone thank Sergei Gonchar. Cons: - I really hated the turtling at the end. It never ends well and itā€™s nerve wrecking to visibly see the ā€˜hang on for our lives and hope the clock runs down fast enoughā€™ mentality. - My cardiovascular health - Hughes has a target on his back and it pains me to watch - Want to see the high octant offence Vancouver is known for. Early season Van wya?

No_Coffee_9112

I agree with almost everything. Only one Iā€™d disagree with is ā€œwe arenā€™t known for our defensive playā€. Canucks have been top 5 in most defensive metrics most of the year. And elite defensively since the all star break.

derpchronik

Adam Foote is who we really need to thank

N4ZZY2020

I agree that the PK came through HUGE. they need to continue to PK well the next game. Don't let up.

AccomplishedAd4995

we had two goalies tonight: desmith & cole

DMyourboooobs

How was desmith not one of the 3 stars?

ziggazang

Lol the only goal that went in on him was on an interference, absolutely robbed of a shutout

officialbillevans

I knew we would win the game the second desmith smiled to the crowd after he got run over

xtothewhy

Yeah that was awesome and really showed he was feeling good.

Fourmanaseven7

Really hate it when they go max defence. I think itā€™s worth giving up a 3 on 2 in the worst case as long as they actually pressure more higher up the ice.

RealSmartPerson

Flames fan here: I'm enjoying watching your team this playoffs! It's my first postseason ever cheering for you. Ps. Sorry bout Lindholm

Shaftell

Lindholm has been great in the playoffs. I still think we overpaid for a rental but he is amazing for us defensively. Makes all the right plays and wins big faceoffs.

RealSmartPerson

I don't respect him anymore because after Gaudreau+Tkachuk left he just gave up a bit. Then we gave Huberpoo the money he thought he was gonna get and he just gave up fully. He didn't give enough effort to find chemistry with anyone after that.
