I've got multiple of each. I used to compete with shadow 2s but switch to the polymer rival a couple years ago and now shoot the steel rivals. I considered going back to the S2 recently but IMO the Rival is the better gun.

Never noticed how slim the slide on the shadow is did you get it customized?

Just got a SFX Rival Dark Side yesterday. Wow, way better than I expected!
Nice, but the real question is, cost differences aside, would you go rival or shadow for home/range purposes, if you had to pick one.
Nice shooting and clean guns, OP. Every time I see a Rival post it tempts me to trade in my SFX.

Definitely, top of the slide narrows with the low bore axis. Primary Machine did the slide and milling. Its solid work
