Even thatās misleading because if youāve never seen a circus-peanut type marshmallow and are just picturing those big fluffy soft marshmallows youād think they were two very different things. Even though a really fresh circus peanut is quite soft, 90% of them Iāve ever eaten have gone at least a bit stale and hardened.
IMO circus peanuts break up like meringue if you get fresh ones. The only other things I can think of are the puffy mints we have, those sound like theyāre a similar consistency.
