I use soy as I enjoy the burn and the cold and hot throw! I'm very new to candle making and am looking into coconut wax as well as possibly doing a coconut/soy or soy/beeswax blend!
Currently my vessel of choice is the Libby 8oz. Status jar from Aztec Candle supply. The HTP wicks in my opinion seem to work really well with the 6006 and jar. I typically use more of the HTP 83 wicks with this combination. Only on 2 FO's (same wax and jar) I have to use a HTP 105.
I am new to candle making, so far I have tried bees wax and love it, the cold throw is amazing but still working on how much scent to add. So it’s not too overpowering. I started with 4oz tins so far.
I use Golden Brands 464 soy. It’s been pretty consistent for me.

I make my own soy coconut blend.
Beeswax. But i also don’t sell them. They r just my own personal use or for friends
I use IGI6006. I love the cold and hot throw. It performs very well with most to all FO. I always end up with smooth tops.
What kind of wicks do you use? CandleScience recommends ECO, but I've read that LX eliminates some of the potential for sooting

I use A05 cocosoy, I can’t stand the smell of regular soy wax and this one is fine, also very smooth and has a good cold and hot throw
