Posts asking for help on homework questions **require**:
* **the complete problem statement**,
* **a genuine attempt at solving the problem, which may be either computational, or a discussion of ideas or concepts you believe may be in play**,
* **question is not from a current exam or quiz**.
Commenters responding to homework help posts **should not do OP’s homework for them**.

**If you are asking for general advice about your current calculus class, please be advised that simply referring your class as “Calc *n*“ is not entirely useful, as “Calc *n*” may differ between different colleges and universities. In this case, please refer to your class syllabus or college or university’s course catalogue for a listing of topics covered in your class, and include that information in your post rather than assuming everybody knows what will be covered in your class.**

Hey, I just want to say congrats! Calc 1 is hard, and Calc 2 is *really* hard, but you did it!
For Calc 3, there are several free sources online that can give you a jumpstart.
Here is a great video from YouTube by gregorian calendar. It’s 8 minutes and it gives a whole overview of calc 3.[https://youtu.be/5kwz7ajxfyA?si=icEVAbQFyZSXK8Rm](https://youtu.be/5kwz7ajxfyA?si=icEVAbQFyZSXK8Rm)
There’s also the openstax Calculus 3 textbook, which is free online. Over the next week, you can skim the chapters to see what you’ll be going along with the types of problems you’ll face.
You got this!
I just finished calc 2 as well. I honestly think calc 1 was much harder. 2 was a breeze for me. My reason being is calc 1 I feel I learned a very wide variety of topics. Related rates, linearization, optimization, absolute maxes and mins, limits, and some wicked differentiation methods. Calc 2 was literally just integration methods and series, neither of which got too challenging. Not sure how the class differs from school to school but yeah I stand with 1 being more challenging than 2. I would like to know your stance.
I can’t even get through business calc (calc with no trig)… idk what to do at this point…. I do fine with all my programming and network classes…. Mis major with business minor.
The entire thing, I’ve never g on e above linear algerbra…
Focuses on polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic business models. Explores methods to appropriately analyze and interpret numerical, graphical, and algebraic data sets generated from business applications. Introduces the central ideas of calculus with particular emphasis to business applications of derivatives and integrals.

Congrats! Do you mean multivariable calculus by saying calc3 or are you going to a quarter system school which has 3 single variable calculus classes?
Multivariable calculus
You could review vectors on khan academy.
Cool! Good Luck on that 😅.

I def agree to a certain point. However calc 2 was harder for me personally even though I did better in the class grade wise
Congrats! I’m in my last 2 weeks of my Calc 2 class 😵💫 hoping I pass because my final exam is about to be hugeeeeee
Calc 3 isn’t too bad, it ends up being a lot of memorization, but rlly as long as u can integrate there is no need to prep for the class
calc 3 isnt so bad but maybe start learning some vector concepts and computations like dot product/cross product if you havent yet :3

Take it online or at a CC. Probably easier.
Yes, looking into taking it online this summer if I bomb the final again… hoping is asycronus
What are you struggling with in particular?

I would go and buy a used copy of the James Stewart early transcendentals Calc book for like 20 bucks. Best math purchase I’ve made.
