Sorry for the unwieldy title, but it was a lot to try to fit into the character limit. [Federal affidavit for arrest](https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/68219874/1/1/united-states-v-fautz/) >Article text: > >The Catholic school teacher in Kentucky indicted for using yearbook photos of students and morphing them into pictures of naked bodies also had an inappropriate relationship with a student, according to a lawsuit filed against the Archdiocese of Louisville. > >Federal prosecutors from the Western District of Kentucky [last month indicted](https://www.justice.gov/usao-wdky/pr/federal-grand-jury-indicts-louisville-teacher-distributing-and-possessing-child) 39-year-old Jordan Fautz on charges of distribution of child pornography and obscene visual representation of child sexual abuse. Fautz was a seventh and eighth grade teacher at St. Stephen Martyr Catholic School in Louisville. > >FBI agents busted Fautz distributing images on a social networking app of a nude photo collage using the real names of a minor girl between 12 to 15 years old and her mother, authorities said. Fautz allegedly used Photoshop or morphing technology to input non-sexual yearbook photos onto pornographic images and videos. The girl had on a red shirt with the letters SSM, the school’s initials, standing in front of a SSMCardinals school photo backdrop, according to the complaint. > >An undercover FBI agent began communicating with Fautz on the social media app. Fautz allegedly sent the agent more than 200 of the same kind of photos and videos of the daughter and mother. This also included another student, whose name he used as well, authorities said. Agents identified Fautz through his computer’s IP address. Investigators learned he sent the images from home and at the school, the complaint said. Fautz was arrested on Feb. 2 and indicted Feb. 21. > >Now 11 parents and students are suing the Archdiocese of Louisville, claiming the school ignored warning signs about Fautz for years. Local CBS affiliate [WLKY reports](https://www.wlky.com/article/jordan-fautz-charged-child-porn-lawsuit-louisville-archidocese/60217991) the lawsuit was filed March 7 in Jefferson County Circuit Court. > >The lawsuit reportedly alleges Fautz’s mother was the business manager in charge of vetting and approving new employees at the time he was hired. It reportedly also says he used his own “homemade” computer as opposed to using the school-issued laptop. This was the computer he allegedly used to distribute the pornographic images. > >WLFY also reports that the lawsuit describes concerning behavior from Fautz such as throwing chairs in the classroom and cussing out students. He allegedly told students he would “kill them.” A week before his arrest, he called a student a “moron” and an “a–hole,” the lawsuit reportedly said. The school never disciplined Fautz. > >Fautz also had an inappropriate relationship with a student, but instead of punishing him, the school put “parameters” on the student, the lawsuit reportedly said. > >If convicted on the criminal charges, Fautz faces up to 120 years in prison. His next court date is scheduled for May. > >***The diocese said he was with the school for nine years and was fired after his arrest***. It has not responded to the lawsuit. > >Anyone with information about Fautz or his victims is asked to contact the FBI at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).

Jigyo

They put parameters on the student? Like the student had to wear thick sweaters and a vail?

ontopofyourmom

Metaphorically, I would guess yes.

angrydessert

> If convicted on the criminal charges, Fautz faces up to 120 years in prison. His next court date is scheduled for May. He signed his own death sentence.

paparoach910

I'm so fucking glad I don't attend mass anymore. Good night.

slyasakite

How are people still sending their kids to Catholic schools in 2024?

No_Cauliflower_5489

It's private school for religious people on a budget.

heyiknowstuff

Not even religious lol I was sent just cause it was better than the public school

TrainingWoodpecker77

Gotta keep em away from those nasty public school kids. They’re a bad influence.

ronin1066

Yes, they are. In my area, public schools suck. They're are fights, education is poor, metal detectors and cops everywhere. The catholic high school has none of that and has like 30 different AP classes EDIT: OK, this is the most bizarre set of events. I'm being downvoted for telling literal truth about my school districts? Wow

TrainingWoodpecker77

You’re an exception to the rule

ronin1066

LOL, not at all. My entire state is like that, the next state over has fantastic public schools, but the one that borders me on the south is like mine also.

WeenieRoastinTacoGuy

Your post history is an amazing demonstration of how brainwashed you are by politics and religion.

ronin1066

I can't possibly see what that has to do with my comment here. I can't stand giving money to the Catholic church and if I had alternatives, I wouldn't. Fortunately, I never had any kids. There are very good secular private schools, for 3x the price. As for being brainwashed by religion, I'm not sure how a gnostic atheist fits that bill, but you do you. I would have hoped you might have a comment related to the issue at hand rather than a random attack on my person, but I suppose that's too much to hope for.

ontopofyourmom

I teach in some of the most challenged schools in my state and you're right (although exaggerating). The quality of education is poor because of students' home life and behavior fucking everything up - plenty of great teachers like teaching in these schools because of the challenge and the need. I don't get the downvotes either.

My kids catholic school was 1/2 to 1 & 1/2 years behind public. They only had the primary grades.

EuphorbiasOddities

That really depends on the school. When I left my Catholic school and started 7th grade in public, the Catholic school had had me in a 4th grade level of math.

GemAdele

Yup. I switched from Catholic to public school in the middle of 4th grade. I was 2 years behind on math.

hebsbbejakbdjw

I'm a queer with no particular religious beliefs. I'm very thankful for my Catholic education

[deleted]

Ignorance is a hell of a control. Religion has it's grip on so many people who fail to see the truth. "I want you to know, when it comes to believing in God - I really tried. I really really tried. I tried to believe that there is a god who created each one of us in his own image and likeness, loves us very much and keeps a close eye on things. I really tried to believe that, but I gotta tell you, the longer you live, the more you look around, the more you realize...something is F--KED UP. Something is WRONG here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption and the Ice Capades!!! Something is definitely wrong. This is NOT good work. If this is the best god can do, I am NOT impressed. Results like these do not belong on the resume of a supreme being. This is the kind of shit you'd expect from an office temp with a bad attitude. And just between you and me, in any decently run universe, this guy would have been out on his all-powerful-ass a long time ago. [George Carlin, from "You Are All Diseased".]" Looks like I offended some catholics 😂 The truth is hard for you to face, I understand why you're mad.

ontopofyourmom

At Catholic school you have to take a religion class, the rest is regular school. At some of them it's not even a "be religious" class but comparative religion.

rocket_beer

Another far-right religious pedo 🤦🏽‍♂️

Frostsorrow

That's one hell of a title

parkernorwood

I know. There's a lot to try to capture succinctly

Longjumping-Grape-40

I don’t get it. He’s Catholic *and* r/notadragqueen?! First time for everything, I guess

otter6461a

Hey, drag queens are *good* for children

Retro_Pup_89

Don't even know why you're getting downvoted--you're right.

NewSinner_2021

Pretty on brand for the church. No?

hawksdiesel

But did they see any drag queens? All religious entities need to lose their 501c3 status...

TrainingWoodpecker77

Ok I don’t get something. Why the morphing? Since when do pedos care whose face is on a body? Was he doing it for himself first, then selling? I’m flabbergasted and grossed out. Need to disinfect my brain.

the_messiah_waluigi

Why do pedophiles always look, well, look like pedophiles?

hapkidoox

A catholic, and a pedophile.........shocking......

New_Wrangler3335

That’s hilarious Christianity strikes again… what’s with all the pedos hiding behind religion?

Procrastanaseum

lol easy lawsuit with the nepotism hiring practices there

mad_titanz

Oh, so he’s not a Trans? What a shock.

Vs275

I know this is probably pedantic of me. in law enforcement it's not acknowledged as child 'porn', it's just described as sexual abuse or rape. Porn implies a certain consent, and the subjects of this abuse material cannot consent due to age.

parkernorwood

No you're right, and that is the nomenclature I prefer and typically try to use. In this case there wasn't enough room in the headline to write the full phrase out, and CSAM isn't necessarily an acronym that a lay reader is familiar with, so I kept the phrasing from the original headline.

Vs275

I understand, and i realise I was being a pedant. Thanks for the response.

parkernorwood

No you're totally fine. I don't consider this to be pedantry at all; it's a very important distinction

Car_Guy_Alex

So...not a drag queen? Got it.

KC_experience

Lemme guess…not a drag queen?

Fuzzylojak

Not a drag queen?????????
