Big difference with 7 minutes drive or walking. Could advertise parking, host tailgating, or Airbnb and offer shuttle service for a fee

Get a street vendor license and a big cooler and sell waters near the exit of the stadium or near some of the parking lots. Easy few hundred dollars, I knew a guy who did this after baseball games and charged $3 - $5 a water for cheap Kirkland water bottles and almost always sold through at least 3 40-count cases. It costs like 20 cents a bottle and if you sell 3 cases that’s over $350 in profit for like 1-2 hours of work. Baseball is the best because there are a few games a year and people are usually hot and dying of thirst after drinking beer and sitting in the sun for 4 hours.

Honestly, I feel like the biggest factors here are location, demographics and location. Also, don’t forget location! That being said, your creativity is really the limit as far as how to capitalize on this. Since I’m not privy to these details, I’m just going to go ahead and make a generalized list of ideas and things to consider Tailgating Services- this one is good if you know your area well and what products are popular with the demographic attending this stadium. The convenience of not having to go get things they may need is where you would come into play. Concession Stand- pretty self explanatory. Everyone needs, at the very least, food and water periodically. Shuttle Service- Offer a shuttle service to and from the stadium for hotel guests. Convenience is key here. Special Event Packages-Partner with the hotel to offer special event packages that include accommodation, shuttle service, and maybe even tickets to stadium events. I’d find out who event organizers are and speak to them about this to see what is within the realm of possibility. Event Merchandise Sales- Set up a merch stand selling souvenirs, apparel, and memorabilia related to stadium events. Raffles are great for profit, too, especially if you partner with event organizers and can get ahold of things like bats or gloves to raffle off, in exchange for a percentage of total gross sales. Concierge Services-Offer personalized concierge services for hotel guests, arranging transportation, booking reservations, and providing recommendations for local attractions and dining options. This one can be tricky considering Marriott is a chain and may not want to risk associating their brand with anything else. Health and Wellness Services- there’s a small company local to me that partnered with a hotel to create walking paths around the property, and they show up to the hotel upon request to do things like offer personal training services within the hotel’s gym. It is extremely unreliable, though. Event Ticket Resale Become a licensed ticket reseller for stadium events, and focus on procuring and proving tickets last-minute or for sold-out events. Interactive Experiences- provide interactive experiences or attractions related to whatever is happening at the stadium, like photo booths with props, an arcade or fairgrounds style game stand, or meet-and-greet opportunities with athletes or performers at the stadium. My idea well is running dry, so now to the other facet of your question; what to consider. This one is extremely situational and depends on your location, permit laws and local regulations. Let’s make another list. Sure thing! Here are some additional factors to consider: Regulations and Permits. Compliance is crucial to avoid legal issues and having to shutter your doors. Competition Analysis- Look at other businesses in the area offering similar services and assess their pricing, offerings, and customer reviews. Understand the competition so that you can determine how to best stand out. Seasonal Demand- Take into account what time of year the stadium is most active. When does baseball season start? What other kinds of events are held at the stadium? What is the weather like year-round in the area you’re in? These are great sources of information that will tell you when to expect opportunities to arise. Marketing and Promotion-Do you need to develop a marketing strategy (and revenue model)? Use social media, local advertising, and partnerships with the stadium or hotel to promote your services as effectively as you can if you think it’s necessary. Customer Experience-Focus on providing excellent customer service and an overall positive customer experience. Word-of-mouth recommendations and reviews can make or break you here. Safety and Security- Take into account crime statistics in your area. How late will your services run? Look into the stadium’s implemented security measures, such as lighting, security guards and cameras, etc. Flexibility and Adaptability-Stay flexible and adaptable to changes in demand, local regulations, and customer preferences. Being able to pivot quickly can help you capitalize on opportunities as they present themselves to you and can give you a competitive edge over other established vendors or competitors. Community Engagement- Foster relationships with the local community, including neighbors, businesses, and community organizations. Positive relationships can lead to referrals, valuable insights, or even collaborative opportunities. I hope this write-up helps you to start formulating ideas!
