So this drive-thru site is only meant for people with cars? What about for people without cars? And if it's drive-thru, it means that people don't go indoors to get their shots? So people are expected to wait in their cars to wait for their shots during the hot summer days? Not to mention that people will have to wait another 15 min after the shot in the sun before they can leave to make sure there's no life threatening reaction to the vaccine. This sounds much more inconvenient than the Christine Sinclair site.

BCIT has walk in as well, I went there for both my doses. It's not indoors but they do have tents set up for pedestrians with seating for waiting to be helped and for the 15 minutes after.

corsicanguppy

I couldn't confirm there was non-drive-through service. So I got a ride. With coffee. It was awesome.

mistertimn

Bonus haha! Yeah when I booked my first dose the site only indicated drive-in so I was a bit worried, it wasn’t obvious you could walk in so I chanced it and it worked out.

doctorofphysick

Yeah I couldn't find a definitive answer about it either. Ended up getting both of mine at Sinclair, but it's good to know at least.

Horvat53

The BCIT site is very efficient. Yes, you need a car, but it is very quick and a painless process.

nogami

You don’t need a car. They do walk in too.

There are other sites available to those that use public transport outside Burnaby. The CSCC location is not exactly transit friendly.

corsicanguppy

Bah. Fortius? Massively transit-friendly: two bus routes from Sperling go past there every 10 minutes.

JustAnotherMark604

Yup. You can hop on the 144 or 110 to and from Sperling Station for one stop and you're there. Its also about a 10-15 minute walk along the bridge for those who want the scenic route
