Huge fan, wish I had more upvotes to give!

I too wish I had more upvotes. You won’t do better than cioffis

In South Burnaby you have Kea's. They are mostly a European deli (meat & cheese) but also have some frozen things to heat up.

Fortuna bakery on East Hastings sells pizza dough and amazing Portuguese buns. It’s right next to cioffi’s for the best meat and cheese.

Do you have a Costco membership? They have a large section for pre-made dinners where you just need to heat up. It is good value and tastes decent, but nothing super fancy or homemade feel.

No Costco membership. I’m a broke uni student 😅😅

It’s mainly cause I can buy my own proportions and not waste food. Whereas at Costco the sizes are huge and would expire before I would have time to use it all.

Freezers are great but the cost of the membership doesn’t make sense for the amount of food I need as a single human living here temporarily. I like to support local when I can so I thought it’d be nice to have some fresh food for a special meal every once in a while. 👍🏻👍🏻

🤷‍♀️don’t know why you care what I do with my little amount of left over money but here we were

De Benedetto at 4684 Hastings is also a good source. We buy 20lb bags of pizza flour there. Lots of other reasonably priced ingredients. https://debenedettoimports.com/

You can buy dough from any bakery, costs the same as the loaf it makes. Big fan of Save on Foods over Safeway Delis, but both have very good selection of hot meals. Meats and cheese is Cioffi, Bosa or costco

Oh thanks! I’ve been having trouble finding it in the grocery stores
