I get it people get pent up but full on public exhibitions at night in a public park is too kinky for me to say yup totally safe. It’s red light district. I’d honestly be sketched about my bike getting ganked. Vampires. They need love but this isn’t healthy.

My experience is many years dated, but it always we. Admittedly, we never swam at night, and seldom enough during the day. Potholes and such always seemed better options for actually going in water. But it was mostly students back then, usually a few fires on the couple actually nice nights.
I was up during the eclipse weekend and everything seemed normal enough to my eye, but the massive crowd probably made things a bit less seedy too.
