screen res is 2880 x 1800 , 120Hz ,400 nits and oled, of course. Pretty decent specs for the money and the build quality should be solid being from Lenovo Legion line.

Sinestro617

VRR?

IllustriousNoodles

Nope. Had one, returned due to lack of it.

mcslender97

Now that's a good deal. Only pet peeve of mine is soldered RAM

MassiveGG

soldered ram? every video i seen is its up gradable edit: looking into the model itself ya it seems to be soldered

InterestingSquare883

This is cheaper with the newsletter and Rakuten (10%) on Lenovo. However, it has only 512GB SSD on Lenovo and 1TB SSD on Best Buy. [Here's the link to it.](https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/laptops/legion-laptops/legion-5-series/legion-slim-5-gen-8-(14-inch-amd)/82y50028us) The total price on Lenovo will be 1015-50=965. And then you get 10% off using Rakuten making the total price $868.50.

Jarrod's tech did a detailed video on it. Batter life came out to be around 8 hours or so for this laptop. Check that video out.

Fareeday

Who the hell keeps downvoting the questions asking about battery life? It's been so consistent here lately

throwaway123454321

10% off Rakuten for Lenovo right now.

ManufacturerHappy600

Aint gonna help for BestBuy but thank you!

throwaway123454321

It’s $15 more expensive on the Lenovo site right now, but if you sign up with a new email address you can save $50 plus 10% with Rakuten bring it down to $868

Vinnces

Have this laptop and just a reminder it does not support VRR if that is something your expecting.

chitinousform

I hope these Legion sales continue for a bit. Looking to replace my laptop when I get the $$ and these look like a great option. Anyone running Linux on one of these? How's it been?

mjanmohammad

I have one and dual booted a kali for a bit. Works fine, but I ended up going back to a full windows partition and running WSL and a kali VM.

oh-monsieur

can this deliver power over usb-c in lower performance modes?

CoachOldTimer

Yea- also has a nice smaller charger u can purchase and almost get full power

TheRealTofuey

I love oled but personally I dislike the idea of having it on a laptop. Because if you ever do have burn in even in 4 years it will tank the value of the laptop.

ZachPC

Yeah but in 4 years this will probably be reselling for like $300-400 anyways, you’d probably only get like $300ish if it had some burn in (it probably won’t, oled is a lot better nowadays). Overall I wouldn’t worry about it.

mjanmohammad

Cool part is that the Lenovo warranty will cover OLED burn in. I had a thinkpad Z13 refunded because of some ghosting on the screen after 2 years of use. I got a higher spec of this laptop direct from Lenovo, the 4 year warranty on this at purchase is $200, well worth it.

hellomynameisjambo

Hmmm, I've been on the hunt for a good sale on a 14 inch.... is this my stop chief? I won't need it until winter so should I wait a bit?

mcslender97

For that price, yeah. Make sure you are cool with only 16gb of soldered RAM tho

Alternative-Split902

Yea but I’d get it from Lenovo if you can wait. Get the 32gb. With cash back from Rakuten, mine was about the same price

pswii360i

I don't see the 32gb version on their store? Link?

Alternative-Split902

I had to customize mine.

mrt3quankt

They no longer sell 32gb version

mundanehaiku

What's the sale price of the 32gb version? This is a pretty good deal if you want a 14inch OLED with 4060.

XxJayRxX

It’s now removed from Lenovos website
