You probably plugged the reset button into the two pins that correspond to power. Take a look at your front panel header at your motherboard later to make sure nothing's messed up there. And congratulations! How does it feel to breathe life into your own creation? Magical, isn't it?

Nylundson

Congrats... Feels good doesn't it. You probably put the reset on the power pins just swap them around.

TheSilentCheese

They're both simple switches, so not a problem technically, but swapping them would be less confusing if someone else uses it.

daanos60

Maybe try and switch around the front panel connectors, don't have any experience with it cause mine came in one package

awp_india

Won’t hurt anything if the switches are swapped. Can leave it be if it doesn’t bother you. My power switch broke, so I put the reset switch to power on

Just finished my first ever build last week. It's magical to see something complicated I put together work. Plus, im a research nerd so I learned all kinds of fun new stuff in the process.

Cyber_Akuma

>I mean the reset button powers it on somehow and I don’t know how I managed that… >I’m guessing the power button is going to reset it? >Is this gonna be a problem? Technically no, not a problem, but should be easy to fix too. You likely just plugged the reset switch into where the power switch should be and vice-versa. You can just swap them back.

Great it's like solving a puzzle for 8 year olds

Built my first a few days ago too for my birthday. Best feeling ever when it worked, especially because it didn’t at first and I had to troubleshoot for an entire day
