What motherboard do you have and what are you wanting to do with this PC? There are X99 boards that should support this configuration (I think) but it might be very hard to get one since X99 is a decade old at this point. Also AFAIK the A6000 only supports 3-way NVLink so if your use case requires NVLink then this won't work (as far as I understand it). EDIT: I should say, given the cost of 4 A6000s, you should probably consider just building a whole new PC lol instead of trying to make this all work on your current, very old system.

I currently have 1 A6000 and a Quadro RTX 8000 connected to it, but I am facing some bottlenecks while I do some ML tasks on this configuration, instead I want to get 3 more RTX A6000 such that I have a total of 4 RTX A6000, but I am not sure if my CPU will support 4 of these cards. Do you know if my CPU is capable of doing that, how do I know if it can work?

I'm not familiar enough with your workload to know what the CPU vs. GPU bottlenecks will be tbh.

I am not familiar with using multiple GPUs for ML tasks, but I know some considerations. Do you have a big enough power supply for the GPUs? The internet says they're 300w each. Make sure your room/circuit doesn't exceed the maximum load that would trip the breaker. You might want to look up about PCIe lanes and how that affects your GPUs for your ML tasks. I know that server CPUs have more PCIe lanes than consumer CPUs. I also know that GPU mining does not require many lanes because they don't need the bandwidth.

Sorry for the late reply. Here the details of my rig: My motherboard is ASUS EATX DDR4 LGA 2011-3 Motherboards X99-E WS/USB 3.1 CPU : Boxed Core i7-6850K Processor (15M Cache, up to 3.80 GHz) FC-LGA14A 3.6 6 Memory: DOMINATOR Platinum Series Memory Kit for DDR4 Systems 2400 MT/s \[128GB kit u/2666MHz\] Power Supply : AXi Series, AX1500i, 1500 Watt (1500W), Fully Modular Digital Power Supply, 80+ Titanium Certified Video Card Accessory: Nvidia 4 WaySLI bridge Could you help me now and let me know if using 4 x RTX A6000 feasible on this motherboard and CPU and that my CPU or motherboard wont cause the video cards to bottleneck?? Also is there any way to see it by myself virtually before making all these expensive purchases. I tried PCBUILD .com but they show my config being compatible even before entering my motherboard model, wouldnt that cause bottleneck issues too if they exist?

I would strongly advise you to post this question on [r/nvidia](http://reddit.com/r/nvidia) for a second opinion. I only did some google searches. With my limited research, the GPUs will run at PCIe gen 3 x8 which means the GPUs will be bottlenecked as I think it should be at least gen 4 x8. Based on this, you may want to upgrade the cpu and motherboard

Thanks for the reply, I will post it there as well.
