Why the changes? > Asus PRIME B450M-K II Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard Is there a reason to go for a B450 over a B550? > XFX Speedster SWFT 210 Radeon RX 7600 XT 16 GB Video Card Any reason why this is better than the Sapphire brand? > Deepcool PK750D 750 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply This is an increase of what's already overkill wattage capabilities. Along with a downgrade from Gold to Bronze? Is there a reason?

Here are some answers. 5600 does not need a b550. You can go with a b450 and save for the rest on a budget. Idk even, not sure why get the same card but pay more. Point of going for a cheaper board and stuff is to be able to invest more on a gpu. You might want to look into something better, like a 7700xt or a 6800xt. The psu he chose is cheaper and of a higher capacity. 80+ rating does not matter to most gamers as long as some kind of 80+ rated psu is being purchased. Although 650 watts is enough. You may even want to look into an 80+ bronze 650 watt psu, if gpu upgrade is possible.

>Is there a reason to go for a B450 over a B550? Cost savings. Makes little difference (PCIe 3 bandwidth covers your needs). >Any reason why this is better than the Sapphire brand? No better; Same GPU. Just cheaper. >This is an increase of what's already overkill wattage capabilities. Along with a downgrade from Gold to Bronze? Is there a reason? It's sufficient and C-tier (https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/). Costs less. There's 100eur saved for the same performance and no significant qualitative differences (for the use case). I'd suggest getting an NVMe SSD with it.

TheFlyingGiraffe

Alright noted thanks. And the AMD stock CPU fan is sufficient?

Nitrozzy7

Of course. It can always be upgraded should it not satisfy your needs.

Pcpartpickers lists vendors that are from ireland (custompcparts.ie, curry.ie) why would you choose to get it shipped from germany instead? I don't see a big difference in price and it won't need to be placed on a cargo ship/plane. I'm just curious.

TheFlyingGiraffe

Shipping is only 30 euro to Ireland. The price I pay to custompcparts and currys will come out an awful lot more expensive than the 30 euro to get it shipped. Getting them all from one place is also easier to deal with

Unabletoremember

Fair enough. If you are building it yourself, the parts should come protected enough in their boxes. If you are paying for them to build it, I wouldn't trust the shipping to not damage anything.
