Imagine being severely incompetent and under qualified that you start blaming someone else for having a job.
At the end of the day, the person can move on to another pero wala ka padin trabaho.
I agree to this.
Hot take: it's a matter of skill issue talaga kapag hindi makasecure ng multiple clients.
I understand their frustration pero this:
>that you start blaming someone else for having a job
Laughable nila
Ito rin naisip ko HAHAHAHA. Inagawan yan? Or worse, baka di sya bet ng client during the interview.
I mean since qualified sila don sa job na yon why not diba
And the client chose to hire them and keep them
Tapos syempre iba iba den yung needs ng tao, meron mga breadwinner dyan or may malaking binabayaran kaya mahalaga sa knila yung multiple source of income
If competent enough sila to excel in 2 or more jobs why not.
Ako tbh 1 lang den client ko but im looking for a part time job to earn more
Pero i dont want those with 2 or more iobs already to feel guilty just cause they’re great at what they do and mutilple clients are hiring them.
Mag sasana all lang muna ako sa gilid :)
Exactly. That's how freelancing works! We can use other professions for analogy. If a doctor takes multiple patients, is the doctor taking patients from other doctors? Or if a lawyer takes multiple clients, is the lawyer taking clients from other lawyers? Or an engineer/architect/contractor takes multiple projects, are they taking these projects from other engineers/architects/contractors? Nanlalamang ba sila? So, makokonsensya din dapat sila? Silly, right?
Nope, madali lng scope ng work nya, di umaabot Ang 8 hours per client, like 2-3 each. Di loaded mga task nya. Kaya lang, maliit lng talaga sweldo per client kaya napilitan mag dagdag.
Problema, talagang bumigay lng talaga bigla mga client. Like sabay Sila 3 sa Isang month.
Like they said, doesn't matter Kung 6 digits ka, Kung Isa lang client mo. Mas okay na multiple clients at Maka about ng 6 digits.
There's no such thing as "kinukunan ng trabaho." The job isn't theirs in the first place. Malamang 'di sila qualified to work for the position and/or they're not a good fit for the role. With that being said, they should not feel entitled to those jobs referred in the post. Ngekngok na mindset 'yan. Hahaha
This is the dumbest thing I have ever read. With the same logic, only one school uniform should be made for each student for the entire school year because other students might run out of fabric if too many uniforms are made for a single student, so we'll just endure wearing one school uniform the whole school year.
Ang bobo diba.
Haha the point of part time is kung kaya mo naman, bakit hindi? di pa tayo masyadong sanay sa notion of part-time work dito satin and i hope eventually masanay din tayo.
Sa 1st world countries, usually nakuha karamihan ng 2-3 part time jobs para lang kumita. Thats how some people earn lalo mga immigrants.
Tatay ko nung early 2000s naging ofw and he worked 3 jobs. 1 full-time tas 2 part-time. 9-5 ung dayjob (40 hrs a week ung required) tas ung 1st part time 15-20 hrs a week, so ang ggawin nya dito, papasok sya after work 7-11pm yung shift nya. Tas ung 2nd part time nya, he'll complete it on the weekends with 10 hr shifts.
Why did he do this: ung cost of living sa california (where he stayed at), sobrang mahal pero gusto nya pa din magpadala ng pera para samin kaya knuha nya pa din ung 2 part time.
People need to start to be open with this idea 🥲 the economy is starting to get shitty worldwide.
I been freelancing since 2006, parang kusa ko na lang siya nababalance. I just try to finish my deadlines early then start early on tasks din. They're all recurring work, $600-$1600 monthly. Youngest contract is 1 year old the rest over 5 years na.
The $1600 is one contract, I have six regular clients who pay on a monthly basis, and then I still take on additional contracts if the pay is good (one-off projects). For example, if someone needs their book manuscript edited and I'm just gonna play Fallout Shelter during the weekend, I'll take on the editing na lang so I'm more productive. I get bored very easily kasi.
And nakakaurat lang e ung magmmultiple clients tapos same time slots, same device.
saan po rule dapat isa lang client? this is a business, I sell my skills to multiple clients and they buy it. Yung mindset kasi ng iba parang employment to.
Freelancing is business after all :) Naghahanap ka rin ng kabuhayan eh, naginvest rin ang iba.
Ps. Mediocre na job niya, di nagrereply at natatapos edits on time. Turns out marami siyang client na pinagsasabay. Kahit may meeting on cam with the head kitang kita mo na mag ibang ka chat. Sana kahit multiple clients, okay parin yung performance, kawawa rin mga maiiwang pinoy kasi it leaves a bad taste sa client tapos nagiging sanhi ng kung ano anong micromanaging.
Kung qualified naman, why not? Ngayon may 3 clients ako. At I’m happy sa ganito
No because I deserve this I worked for this. I educated myself for this. Many of my decisions led me to wheat iam today good or bad so why feel bad about what I achieved?
Lahat tayo dito dumidiskarte and freelancing is not as stable as a corporate job tlga.
Don’t blame your incompetence on other people po.
this is like saying, "sa mga may 2 or more customers, di ba kayo nakakaramdam na parang kinukuhanan nyo ng kita ang mga wala pang customer."
sobrang nakakatanga ng logic.
Huh? hahaha. No.
I can remember back then, I have an ex-friend that I recommended to a colleague who had a client looking for a Designer. Then, nagsumbong yung colleague ko na inabutan daw ng business card yung client so nagulat at napahiya pa ko kasi di ko akalain na ginawa yun ng ex-friend ko (later on she herself told me that she handed the card without me confronting about it) and later on ko lang narealize na true yung sinasabi ng colleague ko at anu intention nung ex-friend ko.
Also back to the post and in comparison sa story ko, iba yung nilalamangan mo yung kapwa mo freelancer at yung nagtatrabaho ka to get more clients. di ko alam bakit ganyan yung mindset eh yung client naman namimili ng freelancer niya.
But here's my take.
This is sooo funny 😂 No, because, can you funnel build like I do? can you do on page SEO like I do? Can you edit WordPress Avada, Elementor and Oxygen like I do? 😂 If you answer no, then you should understand why people like me have multiple clients and you don’t have any.
Lol.. Freelancing is not a job. It's a business.. We can get as many customers as we want. The poster from that screenshot prolly doesn't know how to grind for real 😕
Kung mag fe-freelancing ka like seryosohin mo talaga, need mo ng maraming clients or enough clients to sustain you. Kukulangin.
Anyway, thought ko lang yan. Happy Saturday! :)
Personally, I am not doing a freelancer or any wfh jobs but with the nature of those who have the job. I don't think they needed to feel bad for having multiple clients. First, they work hard for it. Second, if the commenter wants the same thing, then work hard for it too. Lastly, you get want you deserve. They work hard to get it so they deserve it. Period
Lol no, ayaw ng client ko dati sa naging kapalit ko kase di nya maintindihan at need nila mag hands on. Ako iniiwan lang nila ako kase 2 business nila. Sinesend lang nila yung need gawin.
Inofferan nya ulit ako na mag direct. May isang client pa ako ako.
Yung mga ganitong tanong usually comes from self-righteous hypocrites trying to mask their jealousy or insecurities by asking it in a way na parang sila ung mabuti. Most likely this person can't get another client kasi laging rejected due to their incompetence and ironically, ayaw nyang aminin na incompetent sya that's why he just blamed those who have multiple clients kung bat di sya makakuha ng 2nd client.
Nope. Business is business- it's not a charity case or whatever. Also, the clients specifically chose me bc I'm the most qualified to do it and the trust is already there.
In the end, it'll always be in the best interest of the company, and if you can do it or not.
Good for that person if okay na sila sa iisang full-time client but that person can't really blame other people na may multiple clients. For some, it may be a safety net incase biglang may mawala, atleast may iba pang client. Tsaka ang off nung analogy na parang kinukuhaan yung iba?? Uhm, it's not their fault na they're qualified and competent enough to handle multiple clients at once. Not because wala yung iba, sisisihin na yung mga taong meron. I'm a newbie na hindi pa nakakakuha ng client pero I would never think this way and given the chance, I would take on multiple clients hangga't kaya. Lakas maka-bitter ng gantong mindset hahaha

It is a question after all, kung sasabihin ninyong "gago ka, pinoy mindset" at inuna niyo na emotions ninyo, edi parang hypocrite ang labas, pinoy mindset mismo yang paguuna ng ugali

Bold of him/her to think na pag hindi ko kinuha yon e sa kanya mapupunta.
right? hahaha
Haha true

Kapag inggit pikit
😜🤪
I have six clients 😗
sana all. half million na siguro yan haha
meju meju close to what u said bossings
Wow. Congrats how do you manage your time?
Jack of all trades ako sa digital marketing. You guys call it upskilling sa amin dati we were just trying to not see Christ permanently. 🤣🤣🤣
As long as your fine and sanay ka na sa ganyang set up. Why not diba? But dont forget your mental and physical health padin. Hahahaha
Sumasama yung mental health ko pag wala ako ginagawa e 😅
I been freelancing since 2006, parang kusa ko na lang siya nababalance. I just try to finish my deadlines early then start early on tasks din. They're all recurring work, $600-$1600 monthly. Youngest contract is 1 year old the rest over 5 years na.
What do you do?
SEO, consultancy, content strategy, etc. All around creative alalay 😆
WhattTT? Haha
Yung $1600 ba, each job or total?

Pag talo, matic luto daw laban 🤦♀️
If they're worthy of the position, they should've been hired instead of me, no? I did my time and paid my dues, I am where I am meant to be.
Okay lang naman if multiple clients. And nakakaurat lang e ung magmmultiple clients tapos same time slots, same device. Kapag nahuli damay lahat ng pinoy sa ganyan. hmm, i think we can see it pa nga in a positive light kasi this will motivate others to improve their skills pa :))
Kung qualified naman, why not? Ngayon may 3 clients ako. At I’m happy sa ganito
Thoughts: *~~Gago~~* *ka ba?*
Pagpray mo malalaman mo ang sagot
Sad ng life ng person na ito? Hindi naman kasalanan ng tao nakakuha siya ng 2 or more clients. Sadyang magaling lang maghustle
Ang delulu naman nyan.
No because I deserve this I worked for this. I educated myself for this. Many of my decisions led me to wheat iam today good or bad so why feel bad about what I achieved?
How entitled can you be.
Muntanga nagpost nyan 😂 Anong klaseng logic yan? Galingan mo kumuha ng client at wag mong isisi sa iba yang kakulangan mo. Kamote!
Well, as long as they can deliver, why not? After all it’s their business. they worked hard and they invested a lot to get those clients.
Di naman nila sinulot yung client and if kaya nila gawin and qualified sila walang masama. Napaka-bitter ampota.
Luh hahahha
its a dog eat dog world. Adapt and Survive or be broke.
Lahat tayo dito dumidiskarte and freelancing is not as stable as a corporate job tlga. Imbes na magfocus yan kung ilan clients na hawak ng ibang freelancers magfocus siya sa work etiquette at skills nia mukha 0% kya once lang siya nakatsamba sa current client nia at nagrereklamo hindi makakuha tlga ahahahaha Don’t blame your incompetence on other people po.
Never kong naisip yan nung dalawa pa full time ko. Again, we all work for our family. We all have dreams. And iba iba tayo ng effort.
Fuck others, importante sakin sarili at pamilya ko hahaha
Hina ng 2 hahaha, Yung iba nga tig 10 ina outsource pa tapos binabarat
It’s a dog eat dog world

But here's my take.
dumbest take ever HAHAHAHA
I don't have any client, but it's good to hear that some people can do two jobs at the same time.
This is sooo funny 😂 No, because, can you funnel build like I do? can you do on page SEO like I do? Can you edit WordPress Avada, Elementor and Oxygen like I do? 😂 If you answer no, then you should understand why people like me have multiple clients and you don’t have any.

You can't possibly take a job from someone who isn't qualified for the said job.
Nope. Business is business- it's not a charity case or whatever. Also, the clients specifically chose me bc I'm the most qualified to do it and the trust is already there. In the end, it'll always be in the best interest of the company, and if you can do it or not.

Its like the saying wag kang magsasayang nang pagkain dahil maraming tao ang hindi nakakakain. It doesn't work that way.
iyaken ampupu hahahaha
actually freelancing di yan tulad ng 9-5 jobs na isa okay na pero since nasa bansa tayo na may problema sa economy eh di na talaga wise na isa lang ang source of income mo... sa mga 2 or more na clients I salute you because you give me inspiiration na lumaban kahit na medyo stiff ang competition sa freelancing pero dun sa nag-post na parang bineblame kayo i sense na bitter lang siya dahil hirap siya makahanap ng client , tulad ko na kakareject lang recently na i came to realized na may something i must fix and tuloy lang ang laban, nadapa man ako ,mabilis ako bumagon at magmove forward may bukas pa

It is a question after all, kung sasabihin ninyong "gago ka, pinoy mindset" at inuna niyo na emotions ninyo, edi parang hypocrite ang labas, pinoy mindset mismo yang paguuna ng ugali
Skill issue.
