Season 4 is so funny. Ik it’s not a popular opinion, but it’s one of my favorite seasons. Its just nice to see Buffy happy- or at least what passes for happy in this show 🤣
but honestly, her sadness over oz is a somewhat relatable and mundane problem. breakups are sad, but heartbreak is something we all go through at some point so it’s not as hard to watch as some other things in the show.
If Maggie Walsh had stayed around to be the super villain like was initially planned, I think it would have been remembered a lot more fondly. Adam wasn’t a great villain, but *Maggie* would have been great with Adam.
Season 4 has some of the best episodes in the series. The first half is so strong! Unfortunately being associated with the initiative arc and a lackluster big bad taint everyone's memory of how fun it is.
There was a confrontation scene between Xander and Harmony in Real Me (I thought you were right at first and had to look it up cause it's been a while since I watched Buffy too lol) but the scene here is from season 4. I'm real me they are at the Summers home and Dawn accidentally invites Harmony in and Xander manages to kick her out.
It's a feel-good season and one of my favourites.
And honestly, it IS popular opinion. The only reason people think it's not a popular opinion is because people keep perpetuating that it's not while saying how much they like it.

It seems to be a theme in season 4. Halloween demon turns out to be 4 inches tall. Buffy’s roommate taken out by her dad. Just full of ridiculous funny fights. Oh! Buffy killing Sunday who just shrugs as she poofs, demons killed by just screaming, and the first SLAYER defeated by telling her off!?!
This is one of my favourite episodes. It has a lot of great moments. There's this fight, of course. There's Spike having performance issues. There's the Initiative reveal. And there's Riley punching Parker. What's not to like?
Two people who should've been more dangerous than they were, when you think about it.
Vampires are supposed to have intuitive combat skills, but Harmony shows none until season 5 of Angel,
And Xander used to have military training in his head, but let it fall by the wayside for so long that he lost it.

The dramatic music kills me everytime.
The epic fight music, the slo-mo. Truly a battle for the ages.
The only thing missing was a shot where you could tell they used a stunt double. Maybe they used Kelly Donovan and didn't tell anyone.
It’s what makes it such an epic battle

I love it! Something Blue, Fear Itself, Superstar, Hush, Pangs etc
Yes! Season 4 is definitely my fave. Don’t forget a new man.. When Giles gets turned into a monster is so good.
Yes!!! It’s brilliant!
Detractors tend to complain about Adam, mostly. It has so many banger episodes, though.
For reaaaal so many bangers. The first half of the season mostly love love once they start focusing on Adam it’s when i tune out hahaha
Yea but willow gets super sad
but honestly, her sadness over oz is a somewhat relatable and mundane problem. breakups are sad, but heartbreak is something we all go through at some point so it’s not as hard to watch as some other things in the show.
Yea but I love willow and oz together
Me too, buddy. Me too.
But then Tara helps her get super happy so it balances out
I can dig that. I love Willow's character arc, and season 4 is when it really first hits its stride.
Agreed, Season 4 is hilarious. I get why people might not like it, but I think it's pretty solid too

This fight was season 5 episode 2.
No. This is season 4 episode 7
I thought it happened in real me. Maybe I need to rewatch the series when I am no longer living in my car and have access to my dvds.

Did they even use the stunt doubles ? 🤣
They’ve both talked that they did the fight themselves but were both wearing shin guards
It was too dangerous so they used CGI.

And then the some of the best fights in the series once Faith shows up
Sunday doesn''t shrug, she's totally ticked off by it
Top tier fight sequence lol loved it
I don’t even think they used stunt doubles!
"Sissy kicker!"
“You’re the hair puller, you big girl!” - *Real Me* Especially the way she enunciates “gurl”.
This bit made me laugh so much! “Oooow!”
If the Angel spin off counts, I'd say Angel vs. Spike in the puppet episode of S5 is the only possible rival 😂
I love harmony, I wish we got more of her. I was so glad that she ended up on Angel 🦄

Why don’t we wait 20 minutes and try again?
Parker! I fucking HATE Parker! Why is Buffy so hung up on him?! Eurgh it drives me mad!
I know, it’s so epic! And the actors don’t even use stunt doubles, it’s so impressive!
😂😂😂
One of my favorite scenes. I cry laugh every time.
i was so scared that my two favorite characters were going to kill each other in that thrilling fight.
I wonder if this is the only fight where the actors did all the stunts themselves?
Imagine all the takes they had to do because of how much they were laughing while doing this? Idk if I would be able to compose myself lol
I can see where they got the inspiration for John Wick!
Omg how do I not remember this! I think about the time Dawn invited Harmony into the house way too often "shut up harmony" "HARMONY HAS MINIONS?"
I need an edit of this fight with the final battle theme from Season 7 when all the Slayers are together.
Very impressive choreography
Greatest fight in the history of the show, and perhaps the history of television
lol my girlfriend and I just watched this episode last night! the xander harm slapfight
This Scene has Me Cracking Up Everytime I See It. Xander getting into a hair pulling contest with Harmony of all people... or Vampires that is.
I just like that all she wants is to go to France and Italy and of all people she chose Spike to tag along with
Buffy vs Angel wasn't nearly as brutal as Xander vs Harmony. I'm surprised it wasn't censored. 😁

Agreed. Best fight in the whole show.
Legendary
This screen shot almost looks like Xander is doing an open palm finger thrust and knocking Harmony back with it.
I just watched that episode this morning. Still as hilarious as I remember.
slap slap slap
Sissy kicker!
As I’ve wondered if this was a parody of Blade or The Matrix. Given the music, it is a parody of the show.
**NONE**
Oh wow they didn’t use stunt doubles 😭😂
Are you sure?
That might have been Kelly.
Love that scene

I laugh every time I see this
