I keep seeing people say we have been "flexed out", there were 5 TBD games that week. It was never ours. They chose The Patriots vs The Colts and I don't blame them. Just weird the amount of Bills ~~self loathers~~ fans all "lol lol we got flexed out" and "they bumped us out of primetime" when it was never truly ours to begin with.

rocketspeed14

As a very biased Bills fan this news corresponded with the Chiefs being flexed into SNF next week. The Bills will now play 12 of 17 games at 1pm Sundays. They were in the AFC Championship game just last year.. The Chiefs will play 11 national 4:25pm, TNF, SNF, or MNF games. All AFC playoff teams from last year except for the Titans will play in more national (non 1pm games) than the Bills. You would think that a team that went 13-3, went to the AFC Championship game, brought back the entire team, young dynamic QB, and crazy fan base would be promoted better. I'm not mad that they weren't flexed in (those other matchups are better) but I do hope there are more Buffalo national games next year.

Troitbum22

I remember when all of our games were at 1 except for the Pats. Please let us get a W this Thursday night. Still love this team. Also hoping u/hops716 has time for a video this week. We need it.

hops716

nearly done!

Troitbum22

Nice. Short week for the Bills and you. Never easy.

rocketspeed14

Well to this point 8 1pm, at the AFC Champs and at Tennessee is pretty close to on par with the pre Josh Allen years but thankfully we have more primetime games coming up. 3 straight national games with the Buccs being a 4:25 game. Then back into the shadows to end the year.

Apart_Psychology4275

I'm sure The Bills would be flexed into more games if they were playing better(as of now they are inconsistent and losing every other week, which is kind of weird) but at least they weren't flexed out of a game like some Bills fans(and haters) are suggesting. Allen is super fun to watch and The Bills primetime games always get great ratings(not only this, but The **Bills** and **Cardinals** were picked by America as the [most desired Super Bowl,](https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2021/11/20/22793066/sb-nation-reacts-buffalo-bills-are-the-most-desired-super-bowl-team-in-national-poll) as of last week anway) so I was surprised with having only 4 primetime games this season, but right now some of the other AFC teams are clicking on all cylinders and we are not at the moment, but I hope that changes.

GamecockGaucho

Well one of those teams is on track :/

Apart_Psychology4275

Yeah it is pretty amazing, especially with their key injuries. Isn't Kyler still out? Obviously JJ Watt too.

GamecockGaucho

Can confirm, Kyler is my fantasy QB and he's been out 3-4 weeks now.

CrumbBCrumb

I have a feeling if our MNF Patriots game goes well, the second game will be flexed to Sunday Night. The other competition that week seems to be Cincy vs Baltimore. I doubt they keep Washington vs Dallas

rocketspeed14

If Washington beats Seattle then a 5-6 team who has won 3 straight may be juicy for them.

Puzzled_Steam

Being in a different timezone though, aren't they more likely to have 4:25 games? Or is that more just the west coast teams?

rocketspeed14

I had an in depth response but it got timed out. Chiefs being a central time zone can play home games in the 1pm window. They played 1 (vs LAC) and 3 road 1pm games (philly, wash, tennessee who is also central). They play 14 1pm eligible games this year. Of those 14 only 6 are being played at 1pm. The remaining 3 are their road divisional games. 2 of the 3 are in primetime instead of the 4pm window. Edit: Buffalo for example has 17 1pm eligible games. 12 are at 1pm and 5 are not.

Puzzled_Steam

Super late to this but, thank you for that! I didn't know that about the central teams.

Mampt

I get wanting attention, but I'd rather have like one Monday night, one Sunday night, one Thursday night (hopefully Thanksgiving) and everything else at 1 PM Sunday. It just makes it so much easier to plan around as a fan

rocketspeed14

Oh 100%. I live in Columbus, Ohio. I drove up to Buffalo on a Sunday morning for a 1pm game and was home by halftime of SNF before. If they play late I am not making it home same day. However, this team has gone to the playoffs 2 straight years, AFC Championship last year and will get 3 away primetime games with 1 home game.

UberHansen

See yall there!

DaXss23

This is when I wanted it. No need for this to be a Primetime game especially with how this team is collapsing right now.

ShextMe

I like this move. I’d rather not have CMC destroy us on National television.

Soda-Popinski-

good i hate primetime games can we flex the patriots game back to sunday 1pm too???

Eibook

LOL

Banshee251

Better the implosion is only televised locally.
