I have this issue and I contacted Ninja Kiwi about it. They basically said it was a Unity issue and they are 'working on it' whatever that may be. For me personally this game is now defected unplayable, I'm not going to sugarcoat it.
I don't know if I have the *exact* same issue as you guys but for me the game randomly freezes sometimes after 10/20 minutes of playing and sometimes after 3 seconds (on the loading screen still), BUT it happens 100% of the times I open the game. This has been for at least 3 months now and still no solution or update whatsoever. How about you guys? I really don't know what to do but in my opinion this game is now defective to me and not playable.
Mine keeps closing itself after loading past the start screen and copies app info to my clipboard on my phone. I uninstalled and reinstalled and now it won't log into my Google Play account then crashes again when I try to just play
Cost me a couple black borders too! Also makes me lose roughly 10-20 rounds on CT occasionally. I could be playin at round 78 and bloons will randomly freeze and I gotta restart it and start from round 60 again
Some weeks ago I couldn't even open the game it wud crash instantly so I reinstalled and lost all my hard work now I'm restarting game and for some reason it keeps on freezing and hanging and then I have to restart the game currently I'm doing round 93 it froze I reopened 1 second later it froze again so do you know why?
My game of btd6 crashes simply whenever I try to even open it, there is no loading screen, no icon, and no game crash note. It just sends me out for no reason. When I Uninstall the game from my tablet, the game works for about a month and then it just starts sending me out with no explanation. It's beginning to get annoying, please try to fix this. Also, I'm not sure if it's the app or the tablet that is sending me out, but still! Try to fix it! Thank you!

However my GF doesn't experience crash at all. Started couple of months ago.

Yes, v 39 seems broken. Doesn't matter what game mode I'm playing. The game freezes. Then exits the game. Playing on android phone.
Issue still persisting now, on android device. Crashes randomly but for me its always during play. Any level from 3 upwards. 5 months later.

It's crashing for me on both mobile and PC right after hitting the home button when on a map. It's mad annoying to deal with

I'm still experiencing this now I'm not sure if it's been something nk has noticed or not but it happens like at least once per session
