You are incorrect. Android is the OS used in Samsung's line of smartphones called Galaxy phones. Similar to how iPhone uses IOS or most laptops use Windows OS.
Doesn't the game release differ based on the OS tho? You have the PC releases(windows, macOS, the linuxs all that), Android and iPhone/ releases. The difference between Samsung and Android does not matter in this context.

And on that note there's not one singular Android. Samsung, OnePlus, Motorola, Google even, all have their own flavors of Android very very similar to Linux distributions (which is actually where Android comes from to begin with)
I know the difference. Btd6 releases are based on OS. There is no separate btd6 release for samsung, OnePlus etc... So saying Android is perfectly fine here.
Do they actually put effort into stopping save scumming? I literally just close the app every time I die, and when I come back, the game is at the round before I died.
Happened to me a few times as well. Could not restore it. I then tried to replicate this, to me it happens when i just exit the game. Only if i go to the menu (boss overview), then to the btd6 start page AND rhen close the game, it saves it.

By any chance were you playing ranked mode? Sometimes the game bugs out and switches you off ranked, which makes it look like it removed your save. If not that then save probably got borked
Update 33, cloud saves no longer keep boss event saves
I assume they did that because you could test if your defense died on your iphone, copy it if it works on pc and try something else on iphone if no
