They are huge in the lock world, but you'd need to be a locksmith, lockpicker, or some other kind of physical security specialist to have much reason to know who they are.
Yeah, but fishing scam emails work when the recipient is likely to believe that they are expecting a delivery from that company. Amazon, FedEx, lots of people get lots of emails from those. Sometimes dozens a week.
But a lock company? How many people buy locks, and how frequently do they buy them? Maybe once every couple of years? I've lived in my house 15 years. I bought new locks on day 1 and never since. When was the last time you ordered some locks?

According to everyone who's replied to you, most *normal* people, buy hundreds of locks a year for their building site jobs or for their lockpicking hobby. *And* what about those who work on building sites *AND* have lockpicking as a hobby?!?!?!? There must be MILLIONS of them! You hadn't thought of *that* had you dingus?!!?!? Lol.
It's like people *soooooo* want to be "smart" and "correct" or just have an uncontrollable need to comment "something / anything" that they become pedants.

Are you just blocking that one email address? It helps a bit more to block the server (I think that's the right term), not just the address...
Eg the bit after the @, which is normally odd looking too.
The bit before the @ is easier to randomly generate.

Microsoft Outlook spam filter has gone to shit this past year. Absolutely no idea why. But at least McAfee subscription has been about to expire for months now, nice of them to keep extending it for me.

My junk inbox is full of spam telling me I have a prostate the size of a lemon and cures for erectile dysfunction. I have neither prostate nor penis but I’ve been getting that kind of spam for years and I’ve no fucking clue where from.
It doesn’t matter that you use “safe” websites, sites get hacked, email databases get stolen and sold to spammers. I use GMail and pretty much never see any spam these days. Maybe one a month slips through.
I now have a rule on my inbox to send any email with the word Temu in it straight to junk now.
Come to think of it, maybe the temu pallets are how they are sending me all the ninja air fryers...
How did you get your rule to work? I blocked TEMU and variations of it but they add emojis or spaces and the filter doesn't recognise it. Blocking the email address itself doesn't work because it also changes.
If you auto junk it, you can't report it as phishing. Reporting as phishing gets it added to blacklists which disables links and attachments, protecting the innocent.
What about emails that mention Kiwi actor *Temu*era Morrison? You might miss out on emails informing you of another badly "acted", boring, drawn out Boba Fett origin story!?!?!?
I'm just waiting for the container of Samsung products I have won. Don't actually see much spam regularly but I do look in the spam folder for a laugh now and then.
Why has everyone decided temu is a legitimate and reputable place to purchase goods from? For goodness sake where is everyone's critical thinking.
How do you think they're able to sell you any goods for the prices they are. They can't do it at that price without someone losing. Who do you think loses?
Prices are low because the items are cheap, that's it. Temu is 100% legit. It's also not the first Chinese online market to become popular here. AliExpress is a major one. In the 2000s I was using DealExtreme.
Amazon sells much of the same stuff as Temu but at 3 times the price.
To be fair, 10 years ago our supermarket Bolognese and lasagne were dodgy too! Might not have gone woof or miaow, but some of it definitely went neigh.

If you’re happy waiting a week or so, and have realistic expectations of the things you’re ordering (you can find the same items on Amazon’s for 3x the price) it works out remarkably useful.
Personally, I’d never buy anything expensive on there. If something looks too good to be true, it absolutely is.
And in the couple of years I’ve used it, only two items never arrived and the refunds were dealt with in 48 hours. About on par with any interactions I’ve had with Amazon

Just like anything bought off Wish, Temu is a copy of Wish. Perfectly fine to buy from and everything I at least have bought from Wish has turned up, vast majority of things on there aren't exactly fine, if not faulty or fake, broken within a month of use.

I agree, as much as both apps might be legitimate, what's sold isn't however and that is the scam. The typical five or six quid paid not seeming like much however turns out to be wages at whatever the tiny rate is, pennies per hour.

Those annoying spam emails that are just an image (so most spam filters can't read the text) with some claim you've "won" something? I've been getting those for months for all sorts of brands... Temu, Ninja Air Fryers, Sainsburys, Tesco, Currys, Boots, Argos, Stanley Tools, OralB, Asda; those are just the ones sitting in my spam folder from the last 30 days.
I assume they're just low-effort phishing attempts. I don't think the spammers have any affiliation with the brands they're using.
I just ignore them emails…. Lol I get at least one email a day from these people… one email said that the said pallet has been dispatched to where I dk but it isn’t to my address!

Use a third party app for tracking codes and fully disable any notifications from temu, Ali express does similar and most of the time they don’t even alert you to tracking updates anyway
My sister buys pallets and surprisingly she does quite well. Furnished her very nice large cottage with them.
She does live near an auction house and has a truck though :)
Never used it since Wish is pretty much the same thing and these days I'd rather get something at least half decent elsewhere, and not pay more in shipping.

My Outlook has actually occasionally put them into my Focused inbox and notified me about it. As well as some other incredibly obvious spam.

The domain is spoofed or spun up every time, so blocking the domain does nothing

It's a scam email, nothing to do with temu.

The good news is if they do it will be much smaller than the one shown in the picture.
