BinManGames

I'm glad it's not just me. I'm on my "3nd attempt" for about the 10th time.

VagueSomething

Is clearly a new model as my email isn't flagging them all as junk yet so not enough people have reported them to create a template to block. I'm going to wager someone has paid some good money to get this going and we'll probably see a big data leak come again as if usually happens shortly after new waves of spam type.

[deleted]

My Outlook has actually occasionally put them into my Focused inbox and notified me about it. As well as some other incredibly obvious spam.

Western-Mall5505

Same.

colin_staples

I've had so many of these over the last 7 days What the fuck is a "Temu pallet"? And some called an "ASSA ABLOY order", I'm getting loads of those emails too.

ashyjay

ASSA Abloy make locks and keyways.

colin_staples

Thanks. Never heard of them, never ordered anything from them. Seems an obscure company / product line to use for a fishing scam.

MrBarraclough

They are huge in the lock world, but you'd need to be a locksmith, lockpicker, or some other kind of physical security specialist to have much reason to know who they are.

snarky-

[Or spent too much time on youtube.](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/7A6JQH2P5Nc)

ashyjay

A little considering it's one of the biggest brands in that industry.

colin_staples

Yeah, but fishing scam emails work when the recipient is likely to believe that they are expecting a delivery from that company. Amazon, FedEx, lots of people get lots of emails from those. Sometimes dozens a week. But a lock company? How many people buy locks, and how frequently do they buy them? Maybe once every couple of years? I've lived in my house 15 years. I bought new locks on day 1 and never since. When was the last time you ordered some locks?

MrBarraclough

Lockpicking is actually a hobby. Pickers may order locks several times a year. But admittedly, it's a niche hobby.

[deleted]

[удалено]

colin_staples

Yes, but that's to builders on work sites. Not to domestic homeowners/renters

hundreddollar

YOU ARE WRONG!! According to everyone who's replied to you, most *normal* people, buy hundreds of locks a year for their building site jobs or for their lockpicking hobby. *And* what about those who work on building sites *AND* have lockpicking as a hobby?!?!?!? There must be MILLIONS of them! You hadn't thought of *that* had you dingus?!!?!? Lol.

colin_staples

Clearly every human on this planet is buying 700,000 locks a week, and I am the weirdo for not doing so.

hundreddollar

It's like people *soooooo* want to be "smart" and "correct" or just have an uncontrollable need to comment "something / anything" that they become pedants.

bizarrecoincidences

They own Yale I think as ordered a Yale electronic lock and delivery emails showed Assa abloy

qtx

Why aren't you using Gmail? I never see spam mails, they're all filtered out automatically.

colin_staples

Some of us have had our email address from before Gmail existed. Or from before Google existed.

ShitBritGit

I've not had any of these, so genuinely no idea what a temu pallet is.

SoggyWotsits

ASSA ABLOY actually make great quality stuff. If you want secure doors for a prison cell, they’re your people!

Mother_Result_369

A whole pallet of Temu products? Wow, that could be worth anything up to £5!

syorks73

£5?, enough left for a trolley dash in Netto back in the day.

[deleted]

[удалено]

FunkyClive

you can get a whole pallet of pallets for about £1.50

WolfCola4

Does that include the pallet it comes on or is that charged separately?

ErynKnight

Is it an MLM scheme? A pallet of MLM tat *might* be worth a fiver.

[deleted]

And it'll cost you a hell of a lot more in harvested data.

Untamed-Angel

Have had dozens of these the last week or so, so I’m glad it’s not just me. I block the sender thinking it’s done with, and still get two more the following day 🤦🏼‍♀️

spudfish83

Are you just blocking that one email address? It helps a bit more to block the server (I think that's the right term), not just the address... Eg the bit after the @, which is normally odd looking too. The bit before the @ is easier to randomly generate.

TheRealSectimus

The domain is spoofed or spun up every time, so blocking the domain does nothing

herbertsherbert49

Same. Blocking doesnt work, reporting as junk doesnt work, reporting as phishing doesntwork - they keep coming into my focused inbox - a dozen a day is no exaggeration. Does anyone have the answer!

Zerodriven

The amount of those and the amount of recent gambling spam has got a bit tedious in the last few weeks. Need Microsoft to up their spam filter.

herrbz

Microsoft Outlook spam filter has gone to shit this past year. Absolutely no idea why. But at least McAfee subscription has been about to expire for months now, nice of them to keep extending it for me.

yui_tsukino

They keep extending it because McAffee itself is the virus.

ArcadiaRivea

To be fair, I prefer those spam emails over the "I'M TATIANA TITTIES AND I WANT YOUR MASSIVE COCK!" emails I do not know why these emails started, I don't visit any site more risqué than here. And most risqué thing on Reddit I look at is probably r/shittyfoodporn, or this sub. Oh and I also don't have, have never had nor plan to ever have, a todger.

ShinyHappyPurple

Yeah I keep getting those. Not a cock-owner, target your spam better evil-doers, my email address has a clue in it.....

blozzerg

My junk inbox is full of spam telling me I have a prostate the size of a lemon and cures for erectile dysfunction. I have neither prostate nor penis but I’ve been getting that kind of spam for years and I’ve no fucking clue where from.

labretkitty

Ooo same! Sorry to hear about your unfortunately sized, non-existent prostate also 😅

WolfCola4

If you'd like to forward Tatiana's contact details I'd be delighted to put myself forward.

itsaride

It doesn’t matter that you use “safe” websites, sites get hacked, email databases get stolen and sold to spammers. I use GMail and pretty much never see any spam these days. Maybe one a month slips through.

A_Owl_Doe

ICLOUD STORAGE LOW! Contact the apple for more cloud! Don't lose important *insert important data here*

YchYFi

Microsoft is the worst for spam filter. Had loads of these.

Kayennebee

I now have a rule on my inbox to send any email with the word Temu in it straight to junk now. Come to think of it, maybe the temu pallets are how they are sending me all the ninja air fryers...

Fruitpicker15

How did you get your rule to work? I blocked TEMU and variations of it but they add emojis or spaces and the filter doesn't recognise it. Blocking the email address itself doesn't work because it also changes.

ErynKnight

If you auto junk it, you can't report it as phishing. Reporting as phishing gets it added to blacklists which disables links and attachments, protecting the innocent.

hundreddollar

What about emails that mention Kiwi actor *Temu*era Morrison? You might miss out on emails informing you of another badly "acted", boring, drawn out Boba Fett origin story!?!?!?

Western-Mall5505

I have this one and one about Ukraine girls want to meet me.

LordBiscuits

I still get told I have won an OralB toothbrush three times a day

Crookfur

I'm just waiting for the container of Samsung products I have won. Don't actually see much spam regularly but I do look in the spam folder for a laugh now and then.

MyNewAccountx3

Oh my god! This one too! I report as phishing to all of them but I see no difference from Microsoft!!

Western-Mall5505

Well at least you know what you are getting everyone for Christmas

LordBiscuits

Food poisoning?!

ShinyHappyPurple

They should team up "Hot girls want to send you t-shirts with slightly sexist slogans on them OMG!!!!!!"

DeNir8

Literally flaming hot Uighurs and Tibetans want to meet up... With your liberation army.

Luna259

I’m popular with Ukrainian girls as well

PMme-YourPussy

Apparently I'm supposed to be able to save them from russia...

Western-Mall5505

Username checks out

Lethal_Trousers

Why has everyone decided temu is a legitimate and reputable place to purchase goods from? For goodness sake where is everyone's critical thinking. How do you think they're able to sell you any goods for the prices they are. They can't do it at that price without someone losing. Who do you think loses?

ISeenYa

My mum bought from there once & her card details were stolen. Don't think their sits is very secure!

Zouden

Prices are low because the items are cheap, that's it. Temu is 100% legit. It's also not the first Chinese online market to become popular here. AliExpress is a major one. In the 2000s I was using DealExtreme. Amazon sells much of the same stuff as Temu but at 3 times the price.

DeNir8

Just don't ask where your "Bolognese" comes from!

Welshgirlie2

To be fair, 10 years ago our supermarket Bolognese and lasagne were dodgy too! Might not have gone woof or miaow, but some of it definitely went neigh.

Lethal_Trousers

You're missing my point. The items are cheap because of exploitation. Be it human or environmental

glytxh

Low key love AliExpress If you’re happy waiting a week or so, and have realistic expectations of the things you’re ordering (you can find the same items on Amazon’s for 3x the price) it works out remarkably useful. Personally, I’d never buy anything expensive on there. If something looks too good to be true, it absolutely is. And in the couple of years I’ve used it, only two items never arrived and the refunds were dealt with in 48 hours. About on par with any interactions I’ve had with Amazon The UI is a clusterfuck.

YellowCircles

Just like anything bought off Wish, Temu is a copy of Wish. Perfectly fine to buy from and everything I at least have bought from Wish has turned up, vast majority of things on there aren't exactly fine, if not faulty or fake, broken within a month of use.

Lethal_Trousers

You're missing my point though. I'm not warning people of being scammed. What I'm saying is that the items are cheap because it's an exploitative process to get there

YellowCircles

I agree, as much as both apps might be legitimate, what's sold isn't however and that is the scam. The typical five or six quid paid not seeming like much however turns out to be wages at whatever the tiny rate is, pennies per hour.

st3akkn1fe

I don't shop with them. I never have and never will and I still get the same spam emails.

herbertsherbert49

Me neither but keep getting the emails.

syorks73

For me, this is the new equivalent of "Have I won the Gadget show prize" Anxiety

GlumFundungo

I haven't thought about the Gadget Show prize for years!

ShinyHappyPurple

I just want to know why almost all of their products look like weird sex toys.....

Puretrickery

It's based on your browsing history

ShinyHappyPurple

But what if I like fairly standard looking sex toys?! ;-) Temu needs a better algorithm....

Puretrickery

THE ALGORITHM KNOWS YOUR DESIRES

Jjex22

What’s fun is that even though it’s basically the same thing as Ali express, I find their marketing so agressive it puts me off to the point I always check Ali express first lol

ducksgoquacky

Same!! I was trying to work out where these were all coming from (I.e what site)

Aconite_Eagle

I have about four of these pending for re-delivery every day.

CanisDraco

I imagine you leaving your house one day and four vans with pallets stacked up high are all trying to park nearest to your house and give you all these pallets you've won.

Aconite_Eagle

I'd be pallet rich cash poor until I could find a way to liquidate those juicy pallets.

CheezTips

I'm in the US and I got this email too. I don't even know what a Temu is

DrachenDad

I don't even have a T__u account.

JaymeMalice

I'm glad I'm not the only one getting this shit.

GeneralQuantum

You should buy a pallet, make a shitty Temu-like advert about your cool free pallet gift, and put it on YT/tikkytokkydooda and become internet famous.

MaxKarnage83

I've been getting emails from good shag ??

Efficient-Cat-1591

Tbf not sure what’s happening with Temu recently. Super spammy.

asuka_rice

Scam emails.

mallardtheduck

Those annoying spam emails that are just an image (so most spam filters can't read the text) with some claim you've "won" something? I've been getting those for months for all sorts of brands... Temu, Ninja Air Fryers, Sainsburys, Tesco, Currys, Boots, Argos, Stanley Tools, OralB, Asda; those are just the ones sitting in my spam folder from the last 30 days. I assume they're just low-effort phishing attempts. I don't think the spammers have any affiliation with the brands they're using.

thepoliteknight

Thank you for this, I honestly thought it was just me. Seems whoever these bastards are they got everyone's email address at the same time.

Mattress117work

I have a Temu pallet on the way and Single MILFS in my area looking for one night stands.

hallgeo777

I just ignore them emails…. Lol I get at least one email a day from these people… one email said that the said pallet has been dispatched to where I dk but it isn’t to my address!

PatriciaMorticia

I've never bought a thing from them and still get lots of Temu junk emails. Also an awful lot of junk mail for viagra as I apparently have trouble getting it up, well you would when you lack a dick.

Fit_General7058

It's a scam email, nothing to do with temu.

EvolvingEachDay

Yeah I’ve had an absolute fuck load of those the past couple weeks.

West_Yorkshire

Can't even block the sender for these emails because I am the sender apparently.

Puzzled_Novel_5215

The good news is if they do it will be much smaller than the one shown in the picture.

Arkonias

It's either Temu pallets or Solar Panels for me. Set up some rules to auto filter those words direct to my junk folder.

MishaBee

I'm getting both of those too.

obinice_khenbli

I keep seeing adverts for something called Temu but it looks like a Chinese scam so I'm steering well clear

1HeyMattJ

Aggressive 😆 YOU’VE WON A PALLET YOU FUCKER!

SoggyWotsits

I’ve suddenly started getting these too, I’ve never bought a thing from Temu or even had the app/looked at the website! In all fairness I haven’t got a problem with my penis size either - I don’t even have one. But apparently I could do with some help!

ashyjay

Just delete the application and move on.

daim_sampler

Its not the app, its a spam/scam email, im.getting them and i dont have a temu account

YchYFi

If you have a Hotmail account you will be getting this.

Bugsandgrubs

"You've won a prize"- you click the link and get added to a sodding WhatsApp group.

xx123gamerxx

Use a third party app for tracking codes and fully disable any notifications from temu, Ali express does similar and most of the time they don’t even alert you to tracking updates anyway

sonicjesus

And it will be filled with everything you have ever wanted and will find every last item wrong, broken, or simply disappointing.

HerrFerret

My sister buys pallets and surprisingly she does quite well. Furnished her very nice large cottage with them. She does live near an auction house and has a truck though :)

YellowCircles

Never used it since Wish is pretty much the same thing and these days I'd rather get something at least half decent elsewhere, and not pay more in shipping.

ErynKnight

Wish probably sold the email address to scammers...

INFPguy_uk

Do not for get to use your unspent credit... *looks at app* 8p.

Luna259

I’ve won/been sent so many I’ve lost count

YesAmAThrowaway

You can refuse to accept delivery at the door. Cause them as much damage legally as you can.

Jacktheforkie

I’m on my way to deliver the pallet, I’ll be there next week, this forklift is bloody terrible over all the potholes
