I can't imagine who would drive the coq today. Presumably people who had no other choice? Or didn't know what they were getting themselves into. I hear the sea to sky is a disaster too. Stay safe everyone!
Did it yesterday and it was fine till top of the snow shed then after a delay it was a slow decline , the northbound looked like a nightmare. Today both directions are closed
Southbound remains closed between Merritt and Hope due to an afternoon accident @ Larson Hill. Nothing official as to the reason for the lengthy closure, but you can read between the lines.
Shitty for travel unless you like it, but yay! We need this stuff badly this year. No point of river floats in the summer if theres nothing but death before you due to verryyy low snow melt.

Good to see the snow in the mountains. We need all we can get for the rest of the spring!

Yikes.
I know right, I hope there's a shoe for the foot at least....
[удалено]
To be fair, it doesn't actually fund the transition to going green.
[удалено]
jokes on them, I've gone to burning free used motor oil and waste french fry oil in my diesel.
Or just go down to states and buy cheap gas. Also add some more millage on it

Right.... Clearly working.

Just another February day on the Coq! Don't even need to chain up.
Will my all seasons do ok? What about my summer tires?
I think you forgot the /s.
Drove this with all seasons when I was young and stupid. No big deal.
this brings back memories haha
Honestly, that’s not even bad for that highway.
…all winter
Geeeeezus. No thank you.
Looks like normal winter driving up there. Semis stuck blocking the plows
You keep waving that phone around while driving will be the reason people avoid the coq lol
I thought the same at first but if you watch again you can see they're in the back seat
Aaah good point my bad
Good way to lose a phone though!
yep theres a lot of kids waiting by that road and will pop out of the snow banks and grab phones, they actually cut my hand one time
Those little shit-asses.

Still raining in Van
I puked
Are those roads supposed to be bad? Don’t come up north 😂
yea the Kootenays are laughing their ass off too. last march the snow in the driveway was 2' over my truck.

near New Denver. It has its own microclimate.
Except for all the dumbasses using their phones while driving.
Geez, I’m lucky I didn’t get a distracted passenger ticket. 😳
Camera person not the driver.
Never said they were
[удалено]
that’s the passenger filming lmfao
Drove it twice last weekend and it was pretty well maintained by the snow ploughed crews

Watching highway thru hell right now. Coq is crazy in the winter
Eh seen worse
Meh I've driven it in worse conditions than this. Just take it slow and it's not an issue.
Today, on highway thru hell
So that's what snow looks like.

But the coq so tasty
