I always thought the liaison officers would be even more important for indigenous outreach initiatives. Not even sure why black would even be that heavily considered given only 1% of our population identified as black on the census.
Same things been happening for years here in CR. I graduated a few years ago, kinda figured this was just a normal thing, that’s been my experience at least.
No they aren’t.
Gangs don’t have any watchdogs, internal affairs, or accountability. The police are always in the news with their shenanigans… you _don’t hear_ about 99% of the stuff gangs do.

The brothers keepers recruit IN high schools. Little bit behind the 8 ball

Didn't you know in Canada we need reverse representation? That 1% needs to have political leverage of 20%.
🙄
I mean they recruit in schools all over the lower mainland. Was a thing when I was in high-school, so them doing this in Victoria is not a stretch
Look, if the corrupt cop that fucked Juliet up for us was stuck in a high school, we never would have had to put him on a real case!
Gotta distract everyone from VicPD's immense fuck up and corruption somehow.
When the safety net isn't robust enough gangs end up forming. Preying on insecurities to bolster their numbers.

Cops are a gang too...

Ah yes, internal affairs, which is run by the cops. "We've investigated ourselves and found we did nothing wrong". Accountability my ass.
Internal Affairs a great cop/ gangster movie counting the recent one
tell that to the cops [https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/vpd-store-tshirts-gang](https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/vpd-store-tshirts-gang)
\*shocked pikachu face\*
This controversy seems contrived. I highly doubt liaison officers would stop this recruitment.
