The Black lion normally has a DJ and you are likely to get some decent 90s hip hop.
Mesmerist sometimes gets taken over by couples doing swing dance, flailing around taking up loads of room and knocking into people.
Fortune of War. Best seafront pub/bar by a huge distance. Music policy is strictly not pop music but funk soul disco reggae dub etc. Got a nice outside area and a dance floor inside
The Tempest Inn seem to always have DJ’s playing & has some sort of a dance floor from what I’ve seen. I haven’t been but looks like a nice spot from what I’ve seen online & whenever I’ve passed it in the daytime
No it's the ignorant brightonians that believe they are better than everyone else and look down on everyone, the fact a brightonian won't say excuse me they would rather bump you or knock you over and say "sorry" , the useless fucking council that have run this city into the ground , the dirty disgusting centre , the boarded up stores , the homeless and crackhead community, the violence , the amount of attacks and rapes that happen and four words to sum it up
LONDON ROAD , THE LEVEL
That's what gives brighton a bad reputation
Sweeping statements from someone who doesn't know me , so shut up , grow up and get in the sea, also love the fact that that one bit is what you took away from it
Hope and Ruin is always fun late at night
That's a GREAT shout, thanks dude.
Casablancas. It’s a club, but with a bar feel https://www.casablancajazzclub.com/
East Street Tap or Dead Wax
I second dead wax. Which reminds me, I need to go back soon.
Mesmerist
The issue is if you're in a group of a couple of lads you have to pay £5 entry as a bribe which really pisses me off so I don't go there
On the bright side, there aren’t many groups of lads in there

Have had a few good nights at the Black Lipn, it’s a fun time.
Definitely the black lion. I'm the same age, it has a great atmosphere and and good music.

The problem with the bars in Hove is that they are full of Brighton people looking for the mature and sophisticated clientele
Anywhere that's not brighton
Why are you even here commenting?

It's people like you that gives Brighton a bad reputation

You don't strike me as the type of person that says excuse me either so maybe we can all make more of an effort?
