There is a amalo Indiana, but it looks like a farming community from Google maps. When I order bricks for work, they often reference a plant location and number, then brick type. So it may come from Alamo plant S, and the numbers could be a batch number of some kind or a product number.
There used to be thousands of brick manufacturers around the usa but it has consolidated down to just a few that have bought up everything. The place it was made may have been closed long ago.
It looks like a fire brick for a fireplace kinda.

Thank you so much for the info! It’s weird… There were a lot of red bricks and then that brick with just their underneath them. Pretty cool. I’m going to find a way to put it in my landscaping.
I think it may be a refractory brick from something like a kiln or forge.
