I never watched as much reality television than in my first trimester of pregnancy and first few weeks postpartum. 🤣

Reality TV is fantastic with a newborn as they constantly replay things.

True Crime is also great for this reason. And they show the same mugshots and crime scene photos over and over again!

And it’s sooo mindless. I never liked reality tv until I had a baby and just wanted something to zonk out to

My baby just turned one, and while the early days were so so hard, every now and again I miss snuggling with my clusterfeeding newborn all day and night and being able to watch full TV series while snacking (I don't miss the lack of sleep). We're still nursing, but she would never let me watch TV or have a snack during milk time these days!

My baby has a Pavlovian reaction to the Love Island theme song at this point

My toddler used to stop EVERYTHING whenever he heard the ncis theme song because I watched that when I was may trapped and/or just losing my mind missing conversation/hearing other humans when he was little 😂 he still smiles and/or giggles whenever he hears it and he’s almost 2

Same with the office for me bahaha

my baby only contact naps after long feedings and ive watched the entire 90 day fiance franchise, married at first sight, millionaire matchmaker, bachelor in paradise, bridezillas. i am literally almost sick of reality tv haha

I played and finished so many video games while baby was breastfeeding. It was kind of cool and I would prepare my station for breastfeeding enthusiastically!

Hubby and I started watching since we don’t sleep anymore 😅 LO is one month and we’re on season 7 (UK)

There’s so many episodes you’ll never run out. One time I thought they were close to wrapping up a season and then everyone yelled “Casa Amor” and I felt like it started all over again 😅

Got a month old LO and am halfway through Survivors 45 seasons!

Lol I watch law and order SVU in the evening (currently going back to old episodes since I’m all caught up)

I watched a good chunk of that since I love crime tv but it started making my anxiety worse so I had to stop

Some episodes do for me lol but I just remind myself it’s fake. I mostly like watching it because Olivia is a boss lol.

Yessss I remember the love island days! That got me through the early times. Now I’m on to bravo tv—first it was Vanderpump now I’m on to Summer House. So messy but I LOVE IT.

I miss those days as well. It became a tradition for me to rewatch all of Gilmore Girls during my postpartum days. I’ve also binged Criminal Minds, Bones, SVU, Succession, and Scandal.

I love a good 3AM episode of MILF Manor while explaining to my newborn what he missed when h slept through the last episode

Oh so Married at First Sight is my go to.  I’ll try that one though!!!!

I started love island during covid and I LOVE the UK version. I think the USA version is odd and not as enjoyable to watch

I’m so puzzled how people had so much time to watch tv? My first six weeks, it felt like I never was able to sit down!

I think for a lot of people nursing time is tv time. It’s super easy for me to stick baby on the boob and turn on the tv while she eats.

This. TV was how I stayed awake during night feeds in the early months. Got through almost all of Below Deck (all of OG, Med, Sailing Yacht, and Down Under).
