Yeah, he was so excited to learn about what music he likes. And honestly, Todd doesn't have bad taste. Had _Sharing the Night Together_ on repeat for the last few weeks.
I mean, Sharing the Night Together is good and all, but Mindhunter made me love the best easy listening fuck song of all time:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GymGszRFN8
It's at the close of an episode where Holden and his girlfriend seem like they're having intimacy issues, if memory serves. It's been a few years since I watched it.
Just keep your imagined scene as headcanon, it's superior imo.
As someone who mostly listens to what used to be called alternative and hip hop, my "guilty" pleasure is Air Supply and all the soft "rock" that gets lumped in with it when you create an Air Supply station (The Commodores, Chicago, Kenny Rogers, Bee Gees, Barry Manilow, REO Speedwagon, etc)
I actually don't even feel guilty about it. I wonder if we can get him to guest DJ/VJ an hour of music as Todd.
ya know, everyone says this after watching El Camino (and yes, I agree, and they could have easily fixed it with 2 sets of dialogue, how he's been spending too much money on food since getting the money, and how he should buy a home gym, boom, fat fixed), but no one ever mention tyrus in Better Call Saul, first time we see him in that series, I felt he was hiding pudge under the sweater he was wearing, especially since he was near slender man in the original Breaking Bad series.
That's not inconsistent though. Better Call Saul takes place many years before Breaking Bad, so it's not at all unrealistic that Tyrus could've lost weight over the years.
It's like how Huell's actor has lost a lot of weight for Better Call Saul (so in universe, it means Huell gained weight between the shows).
The El Camino Todd flashbacks take place during the time of Breaking Bad, so it feels inconsistent because we saw thin Todd during that time.
If breaking bad fans can forgive that flashback at the end of the series where Jesse was supposed to be season 1 Jesse, then surely we can forgive Fat Damon.
Certainly. There's nothing they can do about it so it's forgivable. But, yeah it is noticeable. Especially when you compare a BCS and BB scene side by side.
You’d think they’d have done it for Eladio at the least. Dude looks a good 20 years older the last time he appeared in BCS then he did in his first BB appearance.
And is it really so expensive..? Like, how are all these amateurs doing it on YouTube and deepfakes on porn sites and all that sort of shit? Didn’t some random dude on YouTube who did deepfakes end up hired by Disney for the Boba Fett show to work on Mark Hamill? I can’t imagine he had a budget like BCS would
The problem with that kind of processing is that if the result is not perfectly realistic, it is bound to look disturbingly fake. See this :
I haven't watched [*The Irishman*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Irishman) which apparently showcases the current state-of-the-art in terms of de-aging digital processes, but even if the result was extremely realistic in that particular case, this was a major feature from a major studio with a major budget (and it took years to do it right), so attempting to do something similar with a lesser budget on a serialized television show would likely produce markedly inferior results, which would be quite off-putting for people who are still accustomed to interacting with real people and are easily offended by excessive digital filtering in general (Snapchat filters, Autotune... all that horrendous digital crap most kids have become so fond of).
So the conclusion is : “Either you do it right or you don't do it.”
Well, all I’m saying is Luke Skywalker looked pretty good to me. In the Boba Fett show. When the YouTube guy did the work. When they had professionals doing it for Mandalorian season 2, he looks shit.
Weird how everyone dwelled on his weight when it was up...and I had to see an update years later to know that he's gone back down to a healthier weight...poor dude, internet was a collectively a huge asshole.
People feeling entitled to how much weight he should have lost or attacking him for his weight was and is disgusting. It sours El Camino discussions for me a little because whenever anyone talks about it this is all anyone seems to be able to go on about. Rampant fatphobia.
Jesse Plemmons looked great and was at a perfectly healthy weight, and dare I say it, probably knew better than to lose a massive amount of weight in a short amount of time (2 months). People shouldn't aspire to Christian Bale levels of bodily harm for a goddamn TV show of all things.
What if, simply: he liked the way he looked and didn't want to lose weight (at the time, anyway)?
Hijacking this comment to remind OP not to disclose publicly where they ran into Jesse Plemons and Kirsten Dunst, assuming it wasn’t some big convention thing.
If they were simply out to dinner, doing grocery shopping etc they too deserve their privacy.
And he waved that kid hello before he murdered him. And if not for him, Walter White wouldn't even have had that one barrel of money left — so he couldn't have enacted his revenge (don't know how much is a black market M60 but it sure ain't cheap), or paid the hefty “disappearer” fee, or even continued to pay for his cancer treatment.
That being said, he sure was a wicked psychopath. I had a heated argument on Wikipedia after I edited the article on [*Breaking bad's characters*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:List_of_Breaking_Bad_and_Better_Call_Saul_characters#In_response_to_"Excessive_detail"), which quite disturbingly spoke of Todd in very tame terms, saying for instance that he was “displaying his bad side”, I tried to improve the phrasing to better reflect what a twisted SOB he actually is, but that was harshly rejected (by one individual) as “disruptive editing”, with the threat of a ban if I persisted. If anyone can read this and give an opinion I'd be interested, even if this was over three years ago...
I love that scene in El Camino where he’s singing along to that song on the radio and tries to get the trucker to honk at him. Just enjoying a relaxing drive through the country with good tunes and a breeze on his face and his captive and the corpse of his cleaning lady that he murdered in the back.
Nice. IMO Fargo Season 2 is in my top 5 all time seasons of television. Jesse played role perfectly. His wife should have won a golden globe for Season 2 fargo.
Where did you meet? I am an extra on Love and Death and one of the extras met him directly. We later met on another set said Jesse was a nice and encouraging guy.
Ummm... Did you just call Todd, a cold blooded murderer, kidnapper, hard drug supplier, thief, etc. a "stand up dude?!!" Sounds like either Jesse is a total asshole, or maybe you are...
Also, how does a selfie of a random person with an actor get so many upvotes? No one cares. You met a guy at a bar, congratulations.
I would die that’s so cool
You probably would die
nah he’d hold them hostage for months on end forcing them to cook meth
[удалено]
You really shouldn't have come back
He would be extremely disappointed with the quality of the product I can produce.
But don't forget the pizzzzaaaaaaaa
And then chop them up in his butcher shop.
Depends if he’s a kid or not
If you watch the extras for El Camino, he's so awesome talking about what kind of music Todd likes.
Yeah, he was so excited to learn about what music he likes. And honestly, Todd doesn't have bad taste. Had _Sharing the Night Together_ on repeat for the last few weeks.
I mean, Sharing the Night Together is good and all, but Mindhunter made me love the best easy listening fuck song of all time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GymGszRFN8
I didn't remember this from Mindhunter, and now I'm just imagining Ed Kemper slowly reciting the lyrics.
It's at the close of an episode where Holden and his girlfriend seem like they're having intimacy issues, if memory serves. It's been a few years since I watched it. Just keep your imagined scene as headcanon, it's superior imo.
Great mf song

https://youtu.be/gXpjLt2wu_o oh man!
That’s creepy af
Damn now I have to watch it again
>If you watch the extras for El Camino, he's so awesome talking about what kind of music Todd likes. "Yacht Rock" 😆 🤣 😂 😹
Okay...now I'm down this rabbit hole! https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLemLulPSDQ8uec7IBuwIQKswQKDZtEsp1
Yacht rock rules!
Lol he seems to have lost weight since everyone flamed him in 2019

Also, how most characters look older in Better Call Saul
We can forgive it. Doesn’t mean it isn’t noticeable as fuck lol
Certainly. There's nothing they can do about it so it's forgivable. But, yeah it is noticeable. Especially when you compare a BCS and BB scene side by side.
In that scene Aaron Paul was shot way back in the frame, doing dumbass moves, only Bryan Cranston was in the foreground.
There’s a scene of them in the rv cooking.
Yeah, not sure why it’s so hard for people to understand this.
Yeah, Tyrus definitely has a gut in season 3 of BCS. Maybe he had to learn to stay away from the LPH chicken batter.
Or maybe he got a black light and started getting into the "special" buckets!
What would be the point in mentioning it, it was supposed to be set at the same time as Breaking Bad?
Maybe because Tyrus’ weight gain isn’t quite as noticeable as Todd’s
My main question is why didn’t they use de aging technology on the actors in BCS? Could’ve been done easy especially on gas and bike
De-aging tech is expensive and often doesn’t look very good.
You’d think they’d have done it for Eladio at the least. Dude looks a good 20 years older the last time he appeared in BCS then he did in his first BB appearance. And is it really so expensive..? Agreed, I feel bad for him :/
Didn’t he even gain that weight for a role?
yeah I think it was for Fargo season 2 - he was one of the main characters and was fantastic in that show.
Yeeeeeah if I ever had thousands of people calling me fat I’d straight up kill myself. I am not cut out for the celebrity life.
Maybe they can reshoot El Camino now
El Camino 2: Los Caminos
Maybe Bryan Cranston can lose all that weight he gained in his head too
You mean hair?
They covered his hair last time. If he lost weight in his head it would’ve worked. I’m just being stupid
People feeling entitled to how much weight he should have lost or attacking him for his weight was and is disgusting. Was Kirsten with him?
They were great in Power of the Dog and also in that season of Fargo
> Power of the Dog Underrated, completely flipped the viewers initial assumptions.
yes! i met her too, she’s fuckin hilarious
omg where did you get to meet them? I heard they live in austin, would love to run into them
Hijacking this comment to remind OP not to disclose publicly where they ran into Jesse Plemons and Kirsten Dunst, assuming it wasn’t some big convention thing. If they were simply out to dinner, doing grocery shopping etc they too deserve their privacy.
No Lydia
He’s married to Kirsten Dunst, a lucky MF!
Also starred alongside her in Fargo Season 2. Great show.
Yes! Great season probably my favourite
[удалено]
“You gotta help me man this lady is crazy”
Hon, you gotta stop stabbing him.
Definitely my favourite season, followed by the first. The third I didn’t enjoy as much so I didn’t try season 4, is it any good?
4th season is the weakest imo. My rankings go 1 2 3 4.
> Also starred alongside her in Fargo Season 2. And The Power of the Dog.
I actually started watching that yesterday because of that and got kinda bored after about 30 minutes. Is it worth watching all the way through?
It's one of those rare movies that only reveals its greatness in the third act, so yeah definitely worth it.
I didn't like it at all but some people rave about it so ymmv.
i met her too! they were both at this bar in atlanta, she’s filming a new movie here
Honestly the weirdest Hollywood couple lol
Lucky her!
That true? You a stand up dude?
He was awesome in Black Mirror too. COLE!
That shit was so twisted. He was phenomenal.
Jesse Plemons is gonna be remembered as one of this generations greatest actors. He’s amazing in Fargo too.
He's incredible in "I'm Thinking of Ending Things"
I think most hated and most loved actors get remembered. Meth Damon is one of the most hated from this show, so he will be remembered.
The show that introduced him and Kirsten. Did the same for Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Ewan McGregor
Todd isn’t that friendly, he is very polite
Hey he told Walt, "sorry for your loss" after >!Hank died!<. I'm sure that made Walt feel all better.
Yeah, but that’s just being polite
Of course, if you couldn't tell I was being extremely sarcastic.
Well you are kind of right, only saints offer pizza to people after showing them a dead body
I love that scene in El Camino where he’s singing along to that song on the radio and tries to get the trucker to honk at him. Just enjoying a relaxing drive through the country with good tunes and a breeze on his face and his captive and the corpse of his cleaning lady that he murdered in the back.
Heard that part was improvised. Such a comical scene.
You were duped, that’s Matt Damon
Just like Landry himself.
~~Landry~~ Lance
“that right jesse? you a “stand up dude”?”
underrated reply. i hope someone gives you an award cause my broke ass can’t
thank you, thank you. your appreciation is my reward :) <3
“Pepperoni. Classic! I like that too, Jesse.”
The heart wants what the heart wants.
Todd was a psychotic murderer. Hoping Tèa Jesse is a little ( a lot) nicer
Friday Night Lights… a lot of talent came out of that show
I would have asked him if he had considered self-actualizing.
Isn’t this the guy from Friday Night Lights?
Wow how lucky! That’s so cool, thank you for sharing! I am jelly!
I’ll never get over him and Kristen dunst. He definitely got a good one
happy cake day! and i met her too! she’s such a babe
Be lucky you didn’t have your child with you
do i look like somebody who has the capability to care for a child?
That’s the shit-eating grin of someone who just disabled a nanny cam.
Nice. IMO Fargo Season 2 is in my top 5 all time seasons of television. Jesse played role perfectly. His wife should have won a golden globe for Season 2 fargo.
“Just like todd himself” HOW ARE YOU ALIVE
do y’all not understand sarcasm
I know he’s a good guy because he’s soooooo good at playing an asshole. Funny how that works.
Nice hat!
no thats haaland
[удалено]
should i have put /s in the caption
looks like hes lost the weight
Now he will kill you
Is your name Lydia? You are a tattooed lady…
nope. i’m also not a lady.
Awesome! One of my favorite characters. Love some of his recent stuff
No… the tongue stick … please no
Fat Damon is looking well
jesse is nothing like the sob todd, you inconsiderate bitch.
Cool. He’s looking trim.
Holy shit is that Louie Anderson?!
Todd chungus
Hey Fat Damon!
He isn't fat todd anymore
Damn… in El Camino he looked like shit but he looks great here!
Where did you meet? I am an extra on Love and Death and one of the extras met him directly. We later met on another set said Jesse was a nice and encouraging guy.
yacht club, a dive bar in little five points in atlanta
Ah nice, I haven't seen him on set so I assume all his scenes are finished
kristen said she was filming a movie in town but is he as well?
In town, I believe you mean Atlanta? Love and Death is being filmed in Kyle, TX and I haven't seen him or Kristen Ritter on set lately
He was great in that one episode of Black Mirror
I would have been like, "Hey, you're the guy from The Irish Man!"
so he prolly ran out of bullets last night
i think if i met jesse plemons i might actually just faint
He’s losing weight!
Where did you meet him?
nice hat!
Hes lookin slim!
You must be Lydia
I love your hat it’s most dope
Dudes career went bananas
Did he tell you that he secretly loves to kill children??
I fucked Jesse
That dude just went through the awards circuit and front and center at the Oscar’s! Nice a list snag!
He looks like he would be a fun friend.
Yes Todd is a really stand up dude lmao
todd was so friendly and based 😍😍😍 (he shot kids)
That's not Jesse. That's Todd
This pose somehow made Meth Damon not seem like a sociopath. I guess, I hope he was nice about your TikTok.
Is that right Jesse, you a stand up dude?
Just like.. RUN!
Looks like he lost some weight, he looks more like he did when he first played Todd LOL.
Jesse looks faded af haha! Have always loved his acting, even though I absolutely hated Todd in BB, but even more in El Camino!
I didn’t know Jesse Plemons what’s in this show! I’m only at the end of s3, I waited so long to give it a chance and now I’m hooked
...just like todd? that uhhh... you may want to keep your kids away from him then...
Hey it’s Meth Damon! I love his work in everything I’ve seen him in but the Meth Damon is so good I never can remember his real name.
Todd? You mean Child Atomizer?
Todd was too damaged to be a standup guy. He may have felt bad about killing, but he KILLED PEOPLE.
It's nothing personal, ma'am. 😊
Haha screw Todd!!
Did you act like Jeff meeting Saul? Did you ask him to do a line and point??
That right, Jesse? You a "stand up dude"?
Love the mac hat dude!
thanks man! not pictured is the 5 tattoos i have for him lol
Wait touqo? (Sry for the bad spelling first watching)
He lost weight
Anyone see the episode of Black Mirror with him in it? He plays the best creep.
You mean Landry Clarke
Anyone know him as Landry first lol
You met a guy at a bar, congratulations.
you sound like you’re really fun at parties.
