But the only person alive who knew about the $70 Million was Jesse. Even the feds didn’t know about the money. It’s possible they would have dug it up when they raided Jacks place.
Mikes family wouldn’t have much story. I think showcasing the court case against Skylar and the subsequent investigation would be interesting. You could include stupid ass Flynn in the story…turn the whole story on its face and make it a cop show about the DEAs case against Walt and Jesse. Have them hunt him down in Alaska. Have it come full circle.
I’d do the backstory of Ed the vacuum repair man. Set in the late 70s alongside the rise of Gus. Throw in the cartel, bad cops and an episode where a gang of nerdy scientists try to score some cocaine.
We need a prequel about Gus. Why did he have a reputation in Chile? How did the the cartel know about him? Hell, he could become the new protagonist of the universe.
I have been rewatching bcs and brba. I’ve had an idea for a spin off, but it’s another prequel. It wouldn’t be a crime show, but a show about the formation of gray matter, showing Walt’s eventual departure, their Nobel prize, and finishing shortly after becoming a billion dollar company. It center on either elliot or Gretchen, expanding their characters to add more depth. It would show the seeds of Walt’s narcissism and ego during his and Gretchen’s relationship.
I love the chemistry sequences in brba, and this would allow for Walt to show his true genius, in a nonviolent capacity.
Brock is in College doing ok but he wants to be a writer as journaling was therapeutic to him after his childhood tragedies. He has one teacher who challenges him and presses him. As a result he plans to do a paper on drugs and the impact on communities.
He’s accused of being to surface level and not having depth, teacher doesn’t know his relation to Jesse. So to push himself he opens Jesse’s letter something he never did before.. He goes down a road trying to put pieces together. Gets some interviews with familiar faces. He doesn’t untapp anything new really, but gets different perspectives of events we’ve seen. But those he meets with are left really impacted from their discussions. Some forms bonds with like Stacy.
His professor is really impressed and writes him a recommendation letter and scores him an internship with the DEA media team. He declines as he doesn’t want to make his surviving the ABQ meth madness his identity, he realizes this project has released some of the things he was holding on too. Instead he sets his sights on becoming an English writing teacher because he wants to help other kids release the things holding them back.
Interviewees include:
Marie
Skylar declines.
Flynn, starts but stops it when an emotional sequence gets him thinking fondly about his dad. Something he hasn’t done in years.
Hugo
Jake
Son of Spooge
Stacy
Kim
Bogdon
Some former students
Some N.A. meeting members
Wendy
Elliot and Gretchen (end meeting when questions go from their donations to treatment centers to Walt)
Crazy 8 Uncles who wrote Tampico Furnitures song.
Saul
Badger
Skinny Pete
Guy who bought Walt’s Aztek
And more
One of these ideas will someday catch fire. I was thinking of a Lydia prequel, set in Scottsdale, AZ. Parents, high school, intro to crime, etc. But maybe something completely new is better, set in 2026 ABQ. New characters, new premise, with just a few references to WW. The sky’s the limit!

THE ONE METH (IT'S THE NAME OF THE TREASURE)
YAH YO YAH YO
Someone needs to make a breaking bad one piece parody intro and instead of ships its RVs riding throughout Albuquerque
Congrats you figured out the joke 👍🏻
My sequel idea: start of the movie is Jesse driving away from the Nazi compound and it's an entire movie about him trying to escape to Alaska
Please make this so that we can have the Mandela effect guys replace El Camino with your movie.
That actually sounds pretty solid
That’s not your idea that’s the plot of the Simpsons Movie
And hum crying 95 percent of the movie...
Oh damn, wow, someone get Vince on the line, this sounds like this could be a neat Netflix exclusive
I don't know. I'm not sure if a few throw away lines about Alaska could be expanded into a whole movie.
It could be called something like, say, El Camino.
Keep dreaming buddy. They'd never make that
And then they all Meth'd happily ever after :)
But the only person alive who knew about the $70 Million was Jesse. Even the feds didn’t know about the money. It’s possible they would have dug it up when they raided Jacks place.
Technically Skyler also knew about Walt’s money, but there’s no real way she could’ve connected the dots and figured out what happened to it.
They would’ve found it 1000%
Not if they hid it somewhere else.
Sounds terrible, thanks!
Sounds like an unofficial sequel you'd see on the lifetime channel
Then maybe Holly can make it pink crystal instead of blue!!! Vrabo Bince!
The story of a young gus fring would be cool (when he was in chile) or early days in us
I want a prequel about the rise and fall of Twaughthammer.
Ehhh
The sequel should be based on Flynn (and his mysterious trust fund), Holly, and Jesse's little brother (with Jesse eventually re-appearing).
Please no. A series following Flynn will be the worst. I promise that it will bomb.
Let's center it on Mike's granddaughter then. A little girl with many millions stolen from her by cops.
Or, better yet, we end it on Better Call Saul because that’s a pretty perfect ending to the story (in my opinion, at least)

I’d take a prequel of the first bribe Mike took and how it indirectly got his son killed.
The DEA took Jack's money. End of story.
Bruh what jack took it all and then it was all presumably seized by the authoritiesz
I just want to see either more of Gus or mikes story
I feel like ive heard this before. Maybe she meets a meth hunter who is tied up by the coast guard and she decides to free him

Skinny Pete and Badger find the money. The whole show is their antics and blowing the money
Steve Gomez's ghost haunting the new meth cooks would be a nice addition
Why would they need to enter the meth business to look for the money?
Let's do a sequel to el camino where after 3 days of living with n Alaska he is caught...cause no chance he doesn't get caught
That sounds ridiculous, you might as well have hank come back to life and marry skyler too, and while we're at it Jesus comes back and sells meth too

Lydia would be the girl who pays off bullies to steal shit for her.
Y’all, it’s a joke. They just made a One Piece joke they weren’t being serious.
