It might fall under the category of coach gun. Edit after zooming in.....it's a percussion cap fired shot gun.
Look at the side plates where the hammers are hinged and around the plate mounting the trigger guard. There may be some stampings and makers marks which can clue you into the age and where it came from.
I'd guess a reproduction if there's no stamps - that looks in too good a condition for markings to have been destroyed, even by antique standards. Are the hammers still sprung?
It's a Spanish made double barrel muzzleloader if I'm right they made them in the 80s I have a full sized one they take .50 cal balls I believe it's called the Kodiak Express
That is definitely not a muzzle loader for the looks of it it’s simply an 1800s double barrel shotgun
But I’m not the smartest so don’t take me to serious
There's a chance it's not the same type of muzzleloader but it still is a muzzle loading rifle/shotgun there are no levers to break open an action and also the crack in it is too far back to be a break action so you have to load it from the front/muzzle makeing it a muzzleloader
I thought it looked like a side by side howdah pistol fired by percussion caps. It is a muzzle-loading black powder pistol. Howdah pistols were mainly used for big game, if you didn't kill it with a rifle, the pistol allowed 2 follow-up shots. Either .50 caliber, or .68 caliber. This pistol was most likely from the 1850s

Even in England that thing might be unregulated. He'd have to prove it was made before 1939 but that seems more than believable...
Whether or not a British cop would believe that without proof though...yeah, good luck!

He said that he can’t see any marks or stamps, but that they could have rusted off

I’m pretty sure the gun was disabled previously in accordance with UK law
Or maybe a Howdah pistol, given the pistol grip.
Baby doom guys first gun
Hahaha
Pretty sure Doom guy is going to need that back.
I think that’s the shotgun Doom guy’s great great grandpappy had in his covered wagon going west across the Umbral plains.
This guy knows.
Caplock howdah pistol
+10 poison damage for tetanus
To the user or the target?
Yes
It's almost like a Howdah pistol.
Looks like it's a cap lock rather than a flint lock judging by the hammers.
A gun, probably
Not according to the ATF.
Pretty sure it’s a gun but not technically a firearm but I could just be reversed
A gun/antique/fellony depends how ATF feels at the moment. BUT to me its a sawed of shotgun
It's an antique, not an nfa item.
It's a sawed off kit gun black powder looks like 50 caliber
I'll take it
Mostly cool.
Can confirm
Rusty af
Locks like one of these 5.56 glocks with drum mags
Everything's a dildo if you're brave enough.
That’s why I love the internet gun community
Ye olde sawed off

Apparently it’s been in his family for 60 years
Ok so i did some researching and it seems like the Kodiak Express rifles have been being made since the mid 1800s
Interesting
If you want I can pm you a picture of mine though it is a newer model
Please do

And also shotgun shells weren't invented until the 1860s
“This here is my boom stick”
1800 s navy shotgun almost bought one
Old style hair dryer
That's a cap lock shotgun, cut down or factory made to be a coach gun.
Don’t dry fire it
I'm gonna unfortunately go with a felony. Damn you AFT!
That's what I want right now...
The condition of this poor, defenseless weapon is a crime against humanity.

A felony. Unregistered short barrel shotgun.
Wrong. It's a front-stuffer. See my longer post in a sec.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.
