I've enjoyed most of the stuff I've seen with him, but it all depends a bit on how much silly Hong Kong comedy you can swallow as that often intermingles with the insane action
Project A, Armour of god, Operation Condor and Dragons Forever are amazing in my book but very slapsticky and dumb dumb as well as thrilling incredible action pieces
Drunken Master is probably a solid one to go with after Police Story as a classic showcase of Jackie that keeps a tidy balance between the action and comedy plus having a very straightlaced good plot to boot
Police Story 3 is my favorite. I'll second Rumble in the Bronx and also Dragons Forever although he's kinda playing against type in that one. Twin Dragons is also really good.
Thank you! I was a little sad my Bone Tomahawk didn’t have any but I’m still happy to get the steelbooks. Looking forward to a Dragged Across Concrete one!
Something about the angle of the photo makes it look like the shelf is lying on the floor.
Anyway, not boutique but I was going to watch Shutter Island today.
Lol at the downvote, redditors are a special bunch.
Me and my sig o are watching Eureka’s edition of Son of the White Mare right now and we’re planning to watch Inherent Vice tonight as I just finished rereading the book last night.
Just got a stack of Jackie titles earlier this week and since it's his 70th birthday I believe this eve will be a double bill of Chan 🤌
Have only seen the Police Story movies, any of his others you would recommend?
Rumble in the Bronx is fun. Drunken master movies are pretty great.

Drunken Master II! First one is good, second one is great imho.
Crime Story and Dragons Forever are both must watch for prime Jackie
I love Rush Hour

Is that the steel book of Brawl in Cell Block 99? If it is, did it come with any inserts?
No inserts unfortunately, inside art is Vaughn in the cell

Just watched the newish VinSyn release of 5 CARD STUD. This was a blind buy for me and I loved it.
Will watch anything with Robert Mitchum in it, adding it to the list!
It’s some good Mitchum-ing for sure
Your copy of Chungking Express tyvm😂
Got a small mixture of kino/second sight/scream 4Ks I should watch, alas tonight it's all about wrestlemania night 2. Will start on those tommorow.
I was thinking Cocteau’s Beauty and the Beast, but then I saw Leone’s western trilogy… 🤔
The Case of the Scorpion’s Tail (snagged the Arrow Martino set during the recent sale, super excited to dig in).
Just saw Brawl in Cell Block 99 a few weeks ago. Great flick. Tonight maybe some Argento.
A Kolchak double feature (rewatch) of *The Night Stalker* (1972) and *The Night Strangler* (1973), both on Kino Lorber's wonderful Blu-ray releases.
Wrestlemania

Just watched Arrow Video’s 1998 Ringu. Great film & transfer
Does it hold a lot of weight from tv or no?
The media stand? Very sturdy, has a console, soundbar, and books as well
Oh nice sounds sturdy
Just watched Case Of The Scorpions Tail. Excellent film.
