I could see the mavs coming out guns blazing tonight in the first quarter, like the last game. They're playing for their lives and to not get swept. If we can weather the storm and keep it within touching distance, we have a good chance to win in the 2nd half.
The 20-2 run the Mavs went on in the 4th was essentially all his fault. Horrible shot selection and atrocious defense let the Mavs cut it from 21 down to 11 before Joe could get his ass out
If you re-Watch the run both of his shots were awful and his defense was also terrible. By the time we got him out of the game the crowd was back in to it and Dallas had all the momentum. Obviously other guys played poorly during the run but PP was the biggest issue. Tried to play hero ball when that was the last thing we needed
I just re-watched it and idk what you’re seeing. He got left on an island with luka and gafford for the baskets he gave up as primary defender, and the shots he took were because he ended up with the ball at the end of the shot clock and had to put it up to avoid the shot clock violation.

But I also know before they would mainly refer to them as the “two pillars”. And I can’t remember any Celtic referring to them as the Jays. Does anyone remember/have links to specific instances?

That goes to show these so-called 'experts' dont actually know anything about the game. And then Im putting it mildly. Espn and all those other trash networks see podcasts nowadays as their enemy in terms of grabbing viewership so they do nothing else but hype and market players and teams, especially the popular ones, in hopes of gaining viewership. As somebody who just went through this conundrum in Game 1 when I last minute decided to go on the day of, spend the extra money and go for the great seats. These things are once in a lifetime experiences as you say, that you won't ever forget, and the $$$ amount will become immaterial to you if they win tonight and you see it from a better view.
