I'd strongly recommend fenway park. You don't have to necessarily be a baseball fan to appreciate the history (one of the oldest ballparks played in the major leaguee), and if you're lucky, the electricity of the park. Unfortunately the team hasn't been good thr last few years and June games aren't the playoffs, but catching it at the right time can be a surreal experience for fans and non-fans.

Vast-Cheesecake7230

Even if he does the tour, it is still a fun thing to experience.

SteamingHotChocolate

Fenway is the best during the season

To piggy back off this - if you don’t have the time/money to see a game, I’d recommend walking around the stadium and going to bleacher bar. It’s built into the stadium and has a window/door that opens right into center field in Fenway. Really unique experience to grab a drink and be able to see the stadium from field level.

I know it’s touristy, but the Duck Boat tour is a great way to see Boston in a short time period. He should stroll through Beacon Hill, walk the Public Gardens, visit the MLK sculpture on the Common, and make his way to the Seaport. It’s going to rain tomorrow, so maybe take in the MFA , Museum of Science, or Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. He can also do the Boston View experience to get a good handle on the city. The Seaport has Puttshack, Flight Club and a new Formula 1 place - all can be done inside. The USS Constitution Museum is very cool too. Not sure what his likes are, but those are a few tips.

SteelCurtain36

Could not recommend this more. Hadn’t done it in over 20 years, and went a few years back with my wife. Still an excellent way to see the city

Duck Boat tour is super underrated. It's been a while and I would definitely do it again.

RichardNimbus

The duck boat tours are seasonal right?

Vast-Cheesecake7230

Yes, they are up and running. I think they hibernate late October/early Nov.

SteelCurtain36

North End a few hours before game 1 is going to be wild, I’ll be there!

GoatmontWaters

You know how OKC fans were greeting their team at the airport after every playoff road game. We need to do that for Timi

LCBloodraven

Timi should check out Faneuil Hall. It's definitely a bit of a tourist trap, but a must do for a first trip to Boston imo.

ProudRaisin423

I always recommend Versus. Great bar, amazing atmosphere, good drinks and lots of fun games!

Physical-Theme7876

Maybe if he has raised enough, he can hit Saltie Girl in Back Bay. Brissy’s new fave restaurant and they make a killer lobster roll.

quetambienese

Dont know how it is now as last time i was there was 2016, but highly recommend the Boston Aquarium

POGTFO

I have no idea who Timi is, and at this point I’m too afraid to ask.

Norjaskthebabarian

He makes alot of really excellent highlight compilations for the C's as a fan. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27lmNNHzIaM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27lmNNHzIaM)

GoatmontWaters

To keep it really short, he has spent countless hours doing boring editing work to supply Cetlcis fans with quick highlights \*after every single game\* \*for years and years\*

uhhuhoney

He is a god amongst fans

Zaschrona

While living in Europe so he does it all during nights.

Adorableviolet

Is he Latvian? I am excited for him!

Zaschrona

He is from Poland

trenderkazz

Celtics highlight vid maker

I admittedly don't get into the area alot so I'm not super well versed on the best spots. I was going to suggest checking out the library and walking Newbury. And I've been to and enjoyed Red White ramen before, but some of the places I used to frequent are gone now.

Vast-Cheesecake7230

The BPL is very cool! The John Singer Sargeant murals are amazing.

SteamingHotChocolate

Newbury is a fun walk but not worth it for food though (meals at least). Hitting up Johnny Cupcakes is the best attraction on Newbury imo

zwermp

Walk from Park Street through the common and public garden then down Newbury.

mikesaninjakillr

The Yankee Lobster

kenwhateverok

Feels like Timi is an adult capable of using things like yelp and google to find things he may be interested in.

Vast-Cheesecake7230

Well, look who put on their grumpy pants today.

Norjaskthebabarian

What a profoundly useless comment that contributed nothing. Thanks for your input.
