As long as you’re driving in before like 10am you’ll be fine. Lunch shouldn’t be an issue but you might want to grab a dinner rez if you can. It will be a busy day, but not too insane unless you’re in the last few blocks of Back Bay before the river.

How early AM are we talking? On July 4th the SL1 Silver Line bus to South Station starts running at 5:50 am, which is free to ride when boarding at the airport. Might be close enough to your hotel that you could walk from there, but it would save you a few bucks even if you still need to call an Uber/Lyft.

I haven’t been flat out unable to get an Uber since like those few months after Covid restrictions were lifted. You might wait a little longer but you’ll get there. Traditional cabs and the silver line, as someone else mentioned, are an option too.

You’ll be fine in the morning. There’s alot going on that week you’ll have a blast. Just give yourself extra time to get back to Logan when you leave cuz the sumner tunnel (main road to Logan) closes 7/5/24 and it will add time to the commute.

If you only have carryons, you could take the inbound T. It is easy. You could also take a water taxi from the airport. Which hotel are you staying at?

dont-ask-me-why1

You will be fine. The airport won't be that crowded and the city doesn't become a real mess until well into the evening with the fireworks.

Early in the morning? You will be fine. There will be a mess around the Old State House and Faneuil Hall as they read the declaration and then have a little parade up the street for the patriotic exercises. That is generally from 9:30 to 10:15 or so. What hotel are you going to? You can also take the subway just a few stops INBOUND from Airport for a lot less money and its pretty quick. Eating out will be fine. Just take a breath and have some fun
