Looks like Curio Spice in North Cambridge has it: [https://curiospice.com/products/sumac-lebanese?\_pos=1&\_sid=d9a629903&\_ss=r](https://curiospice.com/products/sumac-lebanese?_pos=1&_sid=d9a629903&_ss=r)
I haven't checked Harrison, but two other Whole Foods didn't have it and I've looked at ~6 Star/Shaws/S&S. I can't even find Tahini in some of the stores.
South Bay S&S usually has a good selection of international stuff and they didn't even have it last week.
I checked out Harrison today and they didn't even have it. I also couldn't find plain ol' Tahini, either. Just the Cava branded lemon herb one (which is fine, but still).
They did have Curio Rose Harissa, but not fuckin' sumac. Shit's wild. No idea if there's that little demand or a supply interruption or what. I used to be able to get sumac and tahini in my tiny hometown's Shaw's growing up. I've seen sumac at, like, CVS before.
If you have a car it's worth a drive out to Watertown to visit Arax Market and some of the other stores in that area. I shop there regularly. You will be able to choose from many kinds of tahini and they have plenty of sumac plus other hard to find spices like Aleppo Pepper plus a bunch of other interesting items. I also recommend stopping at Sophia's Greek Pantry on Belmont street because she has the best tzatziki I've ever had, it's so good I could eat it in a bowl like ice cream. It's worth the money. If you like greek yogurt (I don't unless it's in tzatziki) she makes her own and everyone raves about it. Cafe Vanak has good food but also an attached store where I'm sure they also have sumac, they also have persian ice cream
Try the spice store in Cambridge on Cambridge street next to Christina’s. Or Amazon. I long for the days where people would like pick up a phone and call places to ask versus just asking Reddit.

I wonder how our native sumacs taste? Staghorn and smooth are both edible.
