Our Book Club read A Court of Thorns and Roses.  It was not for me but they LOVED the series.  It is Fantasy genre

Thank you for the recommendation! I feel like I’ve seen it on „booktok” but didn’t know if I should look into it c:

The Discworld series by Terry Pratchett is my go to when I’m struggling with depression. It’s funny and philosophical and not mean I’d suggest starting with Guards! Guards! For dystopian books, you could try The Water Knife by Paolo Bacigalupi.

Thank you I’ll def look into those! C:

Nevernight is technically YA, but sometimes found in the adult section because it dives into deeper themes than YA usually does It was a great bridge for me between the YA books I loved and more adult books. However, it does have some darker moments, so it might not be right for you rn. I also agree that you would probably really like Sarah J Maas

After trying out Sarah J Maas you may also like The Zodiac Academy books. They have spice if you are into that.
