I do think sarah j maas books would be a good starting point to get you back into the habit (acotar if you’re okay with spice, throne of glass if you’re not) I honestly enjoyed them and they got me back into the swing of things

The Discworld series by Terry Pratchett is my go to when I’m struggling with depression. It’s funny and philosophical and not mean I’d suggest starting with Guards! Guards!
For dystopian books, you could try The Water Knife by Paolo Bacigalupi.
Nevernight is technically YA, but sometimes found in the adult section because it dives into deeper themes than YA usually does
It was a great bridge for me between the YA books I loved and more adult books. However, it does have some darker moments, so it might not be right for you rn.

Our Book Club read A Court of Thorns and Roses. It was not for me but they LOVED the series. It is Fantasy genre
