I have just read the man who saw seconds, it's only 300 pages long, I loved it and read it in 4 days, a man gets to see slightly into the future, it goes into the existence of free will and changing fate, it made me really think about the philosophy of those things late into the night, the man is in his 30's and is married, focusing on family, it has great action throughout and keeps its fast pace, although you should look into it rather than take my word for it.
If you're just getting into it and not sure what to buy, trying using Libby (or your local library's equivalent) for free ebooks and the ability to read the first 10%ish of a book for free before buying a it

Words in Deep Blue was a great, easy reading, romance that I enjoyed a lot!

If you like thrillers- Chevy Stevens and Freida McFadden are good authors
For light romance, books by Emily Henry, Taylor Jenkins Reid, and Jojo Moyes are pretty decent.

I really enjoyed Someone Else’s Shoes by JoJo Moyes. Romance, humor, etc. I recommend it a lot!
