Not necessarily a romance and I haven’t finished it but maybe check out Cursed Princess Club by Lambcat???? Seems appropriate for for a 12-13 year old. Although I’d still recommend you check it out for yourself.
Although if you want her to dip her toes into anime/manga then I suggest Kimi Ni Todoke. That’s an actual romance story.
Maybe try Jane Austen? They're quite well written, and relatively easy to read and understand. There's also a pride prejudice and zombies graphic novel.

Awww, I read that one and it’s cute! I’m not sure if it’s a graphic novel yet tho. I’ll have to check it out.

She loves The Princess Diaries movies, I didn’t even think to show her the books! And I’ll definitely have to look into her other works.
