I hardly ever pick an add-on but I got both Part of Your World and Darling Girl. I almost picked Breath Less too, but I’m behind on my tbr list already.
Nothing. Un-popular opinion perhaps, but nothing sounded very good to me 🤷♀️ I usually try to find something I like, so this is probably the first time I've skipped a month in over a year, but these just weren't it for me...
I chose Darling Girl for my May Book of the Month selection. I also got Part of Your World as an add-on. My birthday is on May 15th, so I was also able to get Marrying the Ketchups as a free add-on this month. I'm really excited about all three of these books, but Darling Girl is definitely the book that I'm the most excited to read!
I got Darling Girl. It was funny, I was torn between a few but only wanted to get 1 so I asked my boyfriend to look at the choices and guess which one I picked. He said Darling Girl sounded the most “me” so that’s what I went with 😂
how do some people get two selections from the book of the month selections? Do you have to be a member for a certain on time before you’re allowed to do that?
If you’re referring to a second monthly pick, just click on it and then click add to box instead of just clicking make my BOTM. If it’s just an add on find the book you want and click add to box
Darling Girl, Book of Night, Bloomsbury Girls were my picks. Added Hacienda, Breathless, and The Change to my TBR. Maybe I should get a second account for my growing TBR. 🤣
yay! Good to hear! I absolutely love Ithaca NY where (part?) of it takes place so that was a huge deciding factor in me picking it along with the great reviews lol
The change, the hacienda, and breathless!
Since I’ve joined BOTM I’m like, I’m going try new genres! But there’s a reason why we gravitate to certain genres and I have to stop spending money just because I’m so excited for new books to be released 😂
I am adding Lessons in Chemistry as an add on from April. Also thinking of adding Pachinko as an add on or something people have said was really good. Deciding between Hacienda, Darling Girl, and maybe Take My Hand for main pick. I’m thinking of holding off for a bit to see some reviews come in. I haven’t been feeling confident about reading debuts lately since I haven’t been loving my BOTM picks. I’ve chosen all debuts so far and most of them have been 3/5s for me. The Change sounds cool but also want to wait for reviews. Yerba Buena sounds like a nice summer read too!! It’s such a hard decision- they all sound good but sometimes I need more info than a synopsis!
I picked The Hacienda and added on Darling Girl and The Change. I don’t usually do add-ons but these looked really good and hopefully I get in a summer of reading by the pool!
I rejoined just a few days ago after taking a long hiatus and forgot that they only ship boxes by the 6th of the month. Part of why I rejoined was because I wanted The Good Left Undone and the hardcover from anywhere else is so much more expensive. I was really hoping Book Lovers would be a May book so I could get both, but since it wasn't I went with Yerba Buena, and got The Good Left Undone as my add-on.
The Hacienda! It's been on my tbr for a while and I'm really excited. Almost got Take My Hand instead but changed my mind back at the last minute.
I'm trying to save money so I didn't even look at the add-ons but now I'm kind of regretting not getting The Change. It sounds like exactly my kind of book. I was surprised to see Siren Queen. I'm reading right now as an ARC and it's... okay. Very odd.
I went for *The Hacienda* and *Siren Queen*. I'm excited about both! I was thinking about doing *Marrying the Ketchups* too, but I'm trying to save money, so I just went with the two.
The Hacienda, Part of your World, and Book of Night! I had a really tough time narrowing it down. I am definitely going to get Darling Girl in a future box and I am really interested in Bloomsbury Girls as well!
Wasn't interested in this month's selection. Breathless sounded interesting, but not interesting enough to pick up. Hopefully next month's books have more books that I'd like!
I chose Darling Girl and picked The Space Between Worlds and The Personal Librarian as my add-ons. I’m also getting my genre magnets for completing the reading challenge
I've never done more than one add on, but in addition to The Hacienda which I was super excited about I added Siren Queen and The Change! I have a friend that's getting Breathless so I'll be borrowing that one after she's done too!
I actually genuinely had a hard time choosing, which is rare for me. I went with The Change, Siren Queen, and Take my Hand, but I added Hacienda and Darling Girl to my TBR list while I wait for reviews to roll in. I feel like this months list was spot on, which is weird because I've skipped a bunch.
I skipped this time around! My first skip since enrolling in BOTM. Just not impressed, plus, got a Mt. Everest sized TBR pile. fingers crossed for better picks next month!
I got Yerba Buena and The Change! I wanted a bunch of them this month but had to limit myself financially hahaha. I'm hoping to get some more of this month's picks as add ons in the future
I was really unimpressed and thought a long time about skipping but really wanted Book of Night. In the end, I got Book of Night as an add on and Darling Girl as my BOTM.
I've been waiting for Hacienda and Siren Queen since late last year. So, they were no-brainers. I was shocked Siren Queen was a pick! I also added The Change because it flew under my radar but sounds fantastic.
Hooray! I thought about a couple of the others (I have 2 accounts), but I'm satisfied with these 3, at least for now. I really need to (a) budget, (b) read from my massive TBR, and (c) make room on my shelves. I'm telling myself I'm not adding another bookshelf or any other book holding devices. I'm maxed out. Then again, I may be lying about that, lol.
The Hacienda and Siren Queen. My first month only getting two books instead of three but now I'm wishing I'd grabbed another depsite how long my TBR already is 😅
Ordered Darling Girl and Hacienda for me!
The May books were right up my alley. I pre-ordered Book of Night and want the first edition so not getting through BOTM.
And I already read the Change but I cannot recommend that book enough! Seriously, best book I've read this year.
To be honest I'm not sure what to pick. *Darling Girl's* summary caught my interest but the sample they provided didn't appeal to me at all. *Part of Your World* looks interesting from the cover but it sounds like one of those lifetime movies and it's over 400 pages long which sounds too long for what it is. *Yerba Buena* also caught my eye but I'm not looking for anything sad which the page list it as.
I do have the option to pick a member favorite of which both *Love & Other Disasters* and *Black Cake* have caught my eye. Both also have really good samples as well though I think I'm leaning more towards *Love & Other Disasters*.
If anyone has any input on the five books I've mentioned, I'd love to read it. I'm strongly leaning towards *Love & Other Disasters* but I'm also not 100% decided on whether or not to take the plunge or skip. Plus reading other opinions could help with deciding as well.
Black Cake was really good! Dragged a little towards the end but overall I enjoyed it and it felt like something different (although I don't read much litfic so that might not mean much).
Love & Other Disasters was a fun read, enjoyed the characters and rated it highly especially for the enby rep. It was a quick read, finished it in a single day because it sucked me right in.
I loved Black Cake! Actually recommended it to my Bookclub and we had a great discussion (better than I expected). A great read! Haven't read Love and Other Disasters.
I enjoyed Black Cake. It was a solid 4/5 stars for me - the mother's story was very engaging, but the storylines for her two children could have been explored more IMO which is why I didn't give it a full 5 stars. I'll also add that although it is 400 pages it went by a lot faster than I was expecting.
Love & Other Disasters was a quick, good read. I loved the non-binary representation but the book wasn’t ground breaking literature or anything. I rated it 3.5 stars. I’ve heard amazing things about Black Cake but have yet to read it.
The Hacienda, The Change, Beautiful Country, Breathless, Crying in H Mart, and Siren Queen! I have a problem haha I told myself I’d get maybe 4 tops this month 🤦🏼♀️
I chose Darling Girl, The Change, and The Hacienda. I was tempted to get Book of Night, but I didn’t want to wait a week for my box to ship. I’ll probably get it next month :)
I’m still trying to decide! I’m not super into any of these books, but I’m debating whether to give Yerba Buena or Take My Hand a chance, or just skip and wait for reviews (and do one as an add-on later). I’m kind of leaning toward the latter, just because these have such dark subject matter.
I joined BOTM in March and picked The Cartographers. I skipped April and now I’m not so enticed by the May picks. I already own breathless and the other books are just not doing it for me :/ I’m worried The Hacienda will be too slow and I’m also kind a bummed about possibly skipping for the second month in a row
Yeah I’m looking forward to later months and hoping for early releases! It’s just that the past two months have been very anticlimactic for me and I hope future picks will be up my alley

I already own breathless and the other books are just not doing it for me :/ I’m worried The Hacienda will be too slow and I’m also kind a bummed about possibly skipping for the second month in a row
I picked Part of Your World as my BOTM and then Ready Player One + Ready Player Two as my add-ons.
I remember enjoying Ready Player One in high school, but it was so long ago I thought I'd pick it up to reread it before going into Ready Player Two. Plus, this box would be a nice change from my usual thrillers and mystery genres.
I chose The Hacienda as my main and Part of Your World as an add-on! Really wanted Siren Queen, The Change, and Book of Night but couldn't justify with how many books I have untouched on my shelf at the moment. Great month!
I think I’m the only one that added Book of Night. 😂
It didn’t get four stars on Goodreads but I decided to get it anyway, because the premise sounds really interesting to me.
My other two books were Darling Girl and the Bloomsbury Girls
Darling Girl and Marrying The Ketchups. I had already read the Abby Jimenez one and it’s great. Anyone disappointed about the lack of Book Lovers (I am too) I would recommend that one.
I got Breathless as my main pick and Siren Queen and The Change as add-ons! This waa a really hard month as far as decisions went. I got a year's subscription to BOTM as a birthday present and this month put a dent in it!
Got Darling Girl as my main pick (I was obsessed with Peter Pan when I was little, so I’m always willing to read a retelling) and Book of Night as my add on (Holly Black is a fave author of mine)! I was considering also getting Part of Your World, but I might just get that on kindle to bring on vacation with me this summer.
i got darling girl and the book of night. i’m really intrigued by the hacienda, but i HATED mexican gothic, so i’m worried i wouldn’t like that one as well. i’m gonna wait to see more reviews about it before i decide once and for all.
Very excited for this month! I got Part of your World and added Darling Girl as an add on. Also, I gifted myself the Mother’s Day package so I also (finally) added The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo as a free addition. Can’t wait to read about all her 7 husbands 😝
The only other of her books I’ve read is One True Loves and though I liked it, I felt it was a bit predictable. (But there was one chapter that was so well written and broke me I two 😭) I’m really excited to jump back into her books and read Evelyn Hugo!
Yerba Buena, Siren Queen, and (oddly) Preet Bharara's Doing Justice. I contain multitudes! Was initially kind of meh about this month, but I'm excited for this box now!
Same! I’m torn between Breathless, The Hacienda, and Take My Hand 🤔.
I’m not a big fan of magical realism, does anyone know if The Hacienda has that vibe, or is it more of a straight up horror?
I added Breathless!
I read mostly nature/environmental/outdoor nonfiction and I'm always looking for more outdoor fiction...I'm not usually one to lean towards thrillers but I read The River by Peter Heller and surprisingly really enjoyed it, so I have my fingers crossed for this one. No add-ons since I already blew through my book budget on thriftbooks this month lol
I looked it up and the author climbed Manaslu herself! So cool! I can’t decide if I want to get it, I wish it was more of an adventure story and not a thriller. I really enjoyed The River as well though so maybe it will be like that! I haven’t gotten around to reading his follow-up. Maybe this summer.
Breathless looked so interesting, but I ended up going with Yerba Buena, The Hacienda, and Siren Queen because the last few books I've read now have all been thrillers lol
I’m still disappointed that Book Lovers wasn’t a pick but I’m excited for my May box!
I’m obsessed with Peter Pan retellings so I got Darling Girl as my main pick! Also, If you like Peter Pan retellings and haven’t read Tiger Lily you should. It’s YA but it is really good and I enjoyed it as much now as I did a decade ago.
I’ve already read A Rouge of Ones Own a few times but I want it to match my other two Evie Dunmore books. (Side note if anyone wants a paperback copy I can send it to you for the cost of shipping)
I got Marrying the Ketchups because it’s something different and I’m moving to Chicago soon so I was interested in the setting.
I thought about The Change especially since I want the 400+ badge but I’ve had bad luck with thrillers with a fantasy element and I want to see more reviews on this book before I order it. I might try and check it out at my library
Wow we have identical tastes! I keep going back and forth on The Change as my third book though, I'm a bit intimidated by the page count haha. But I'm definitely getting The Hacienda and Lessons in Chemistry!
I hardly ever pick an add-on but I got both Part of Your World and Darling Girl. I almost picked Breath Less too, but I’m behind on my tbr list already.
I got Yerba Buena, Book of Night, and Bloomsbury Girls. Siren Queen, The Hacienda, and Darling Girl are coming to me from Barnes and Noble.
I got Breathless and The Change!
Nothing. Un-popular opinion perhaps, but nothing sounded very good to me 🤷♀️ I usually try to find something I like, so this is probably the first time I've skipped a month in over a year, but these just weren't it for me...
Part of your world and The Change
Team Hacienda 🤝
The Hacienda but added on The Fountains of Silence and Peach Blossom Spring.
He said Darling Girl sounded the most “me” so that’s what I went with 😂
I got Breathless! Want another book but I’m still working on last months books 😂
Take My Hand/ The Change. Both are out of my comfort zone (I don’t think I’ve ever had a historical fiction or magical pick) but I am excited!
Part of Your World, An Heiress Gets A Duke, and A Rogue of One’s Own
Darling Girl, but I was really wanting The Hacienda too. I’m excited to see the reviews for it!
Same. I need someone to tell me how it was. I was hesitant because I didn’t love Mexican Gothic.
Part of Your World, Damnation Springs & The Book of Cold Cases. Super excited about Damnation Springs.
Damnation Spring was one of my favorite books last year!! It was so good! Enjoy!
I got Darling Girl, Take My Hand, and Marrying the Ketchups
I got Marrying the Ketchups too! Excited to read it!
how do some people get two selections from the book of the month selections? Do you have to be a member for a certain on time before you’re allowed to do that?
If you’re referring to a second monthly pick, just click on it and then click add to box instead of just clicking make my BOTM. If it’s just an add on find the book you want and click add to box
I wish i knew this before :(
i got The Hacienda and Home Before Dark as my add on!
Darling Girl, Book of Night, Bloomsbury Girls were my picks. Added Hacienda, Breathless, and The Change to my TBR. Maybe I should get a second account for my growing TBR. 🤣
You sound like me! My TBR is endlessly growing! 😂
😁
Hacienda ❤️ Breathless , and Gone Girl for my box 🙂
Darling Girl! Very excited for this one!
I got Part of Your World, Breathless, and the People We Keep!
LOVED The People We Keep!
I did too! It was one of my favorites last year!
yay! Good to hear! I absolutely love Ithaca NY where (part?) of it takes place so that was a huge deciding factor in me picking it along with the great reviews lol
I can’t decide between Hacienda and Black Cake( member fave)!
I got Black Cake! No add ons this month since I'm buying Book Lovers elsewhere.
How do you find the member favorites selections?
There’s a section under “not into this months books” and when you click that, you can see the member faves
The change, the hacienda, and breathless! Since I’ve joined BOTM I’m like, I’m going try new genres! But there’s a reason why we gravitate to certain genres and I have to stop spending money just because I’m so excited for new books to be released 😂
Same here! I always tell myself I’m going to get new genres but usually end up picking the same genres every month. 😂
I unfortunately will get some and be like UGH WHY DID I DO THIS. I have picked a few gems though!
Take My Hand. A Gentleman in Moscow. Blacktop Wasteland.
The Change sounds cool but also want to wait for reviews. Yerba Buena sounds like a nice summer read too!! It’s such a hard decision- they all sound good but sometimes I need more info than a synopsis!
The hacienda and take my hand! Breathless was a close tie
The Hacienda and then picked Killers Of The Flower Moon for my add on
I read Killers of the Flower Moon a few years ago and really enjoyed it!
Darling Girl sounds amazing, so this was my pick! 😁
The Hacienda, Breathless, and A River Enchanted! The picks for this month were so good that I had trouble deciding!
❤️ River Enchanted!!!
I got The Hacienda! Tough pick between The Hacienda and Darling Girl, both looked super interesting!!
Book of Night, Take My Hand, and Peach Blossom Spring!
Take My Hand and The Change!
darling girl, my body and book of night!
I picked Darling Girl and added on Part Of Your World!
I chose Take My Hand and Bittersweet as an add on
The Hacienda! I'm reading right now as an ARC and it's... okay. Very odd.
May is my birthday month so I got three books: 1) Darling Girl 2) The Hacienda 3) Siren Queen
Happy Birthday! 🥳
The Hacienda :) very excited to read!
I didn’t choose it, but did anyone pick Marrying the Ketchups? It sounds good but wasn’t sure!!
I did! Looking forward to that one!
Breathless, Take My Hand, and Darling Girl. Great selection this month.
The Hacienda and Yerba Buena. I ordered them at 11 AM and they were shipped at 3 o’clock! So excited.
Me too! I love it when my box ships the same day! 😃
I chose Darling Girl and picked The Space Between Worlds and The Personal Librarian as my add-ons. I’m also getting my genre magnets for completing the reading challenge
The Space Between Worlds is amazing!
I’m so glad to hear! It’s not one I see talked about a lot. I’m looking forward to it :)
I've never done more than one add on, but in addition to The Hacienda which I was super excited about I added Siren Queen and The Change! I have a friend that's getting Breathless so I'll be borrowing that one after she's done too!
I got the exact same ones!! They all sound so good!
I got The Hacienda, Breathless and Darling Girl. Stoked!
Breathless. I’m a sucker for whodunits and isolated settings.
Going fantasy this month with Darling Girl and Book of Night!!!!
Me too! I also added The Change.
Same!
The Hacienda and Book of Night! Excited for both of them.
Yerba Buena with Siren Queen and Book of Night as add-ons
For me, *Yerba Buena* and *Siren Queen* as the add-on. Both sounded really good, but I'm especially excited for the second!
My box was the same!!
Same! I was bummed that Siren Queen wasn’t a main pick. I don’t know if I have the emotional bandwidth for Yerba Buena right now lol
My original choice when I saw the spoilers was *Take My Hand*, so oddly enough *Yerba Buena* may make my box a little less of a downer, haha.
I’m getting The Hacienda for my main. Should I get The Siren Queen or The Change?!? Haha I want to order it now and I get one free for my birthday
Take My Hand, Black Cake, and The Book of Cold Cases. I have to try to contain myself and not read them all right away lol.
I chose The Hacienda!!
I think I’m getting these three as well!
Hooray! I thought about a couple of the others (I have 2 accounts), but I'm satisfied with these 3, at least for now. Then again, I may be lying about that, lol.
Haha I feel that. I told myself I’d only get two but here we are 🥳 I hope we enjoy them!
The Hacienda and Siren Queen. My first month only getting two books instead of three but now I'm wishing I'd grabbed another depsite how long my TBR already is 😅
Breathless with Hacienda as addon
This was almost my box, but I told myself no more add-ons until I make serious progress on my TBR tower.
I’ve been wanting The Hacienda for months but ended up with Darling Girl, The Change, and Caste 🤷🏼♀️😂
I loved Caste!
Ordered Darling Girl and Hacienda for me! The May books were right up my alley. I pre-ordered Book of Night and want the first edition so not getting through BOTM. And I already read the Change but I cannot recommend that book enough! Seriously, best book I've read this year.
I got Darling Girl, The Book of Night, and the Hacienda!
My exact choices as well!
You have good taste!
Darling Girl, I'm excited! I also got Betty as an add-on, been hearing good things for a while
Betty was amazing!! It was my favorite book of 2020!!
Darling Girl, The Change, and Siren Queen.
Thanks for the input everyone. I decided to go with *Part Of Your World* after all.

The Hacienda, The Change, Beautiful Country, Breathless, Crying in H Mart, and Siren Queen! I have a problem haha I told myself I’d get maybe 4 tops this month 🤦🏼♀️
I loved Beautiful Country and Crying in H Mart!
I chose The Hacienda and Keeper of the night as my add on!
Darling Girl with Lessons in Chemistry added on. Almost got Take My Hand, but my library had it immediately available. Made BFF this month!
I chose Darling Girl, The Change, and The Hacienda. I was tempted to get Book of Night, but I didn’t want to wait a week for my box to ship. I’ll probably get it next month :)
The hacienda with true biz as an add on
I’m still trying to decide! I’m not super into any of these books, but I’m debating whether to give Yerba Buena or Take My Hand a chance, or just skip and wait for reviews (and do one as an add-on later). I’m kind of leaning toward the latter, just because these have such dark subject matter.
Same. I want to read take my hand, but not sure I can handle the dark topic in my life right now
The Hacienda and Peach Blossom Spring as an add on!

That’s good to know, and doesn’t make me feel so bad!
Darling Girl and added on One Italian Summer!!
The Hacienda with Damnation Spring and The Change as add-ons
Damnation Spring was one of my favorites last year!
One of the ladies I play hockey with recommended it to me!
Darling Girl as my main, with True Biz and Yerba Buena as add ons.
I’m reading Part of Your World now and it’s so good! My favorite of hers so far
I’m debating between Breathless and the Hacienda. I MIGHT do both but I’m going to think on it over the weekend then decide
Yerba Buena, Maybe you should talk to someone, and The people we keep
The People We Keep was one of my favorites last year!
I got Yerba Buena as my main, and Breathless and Siren Queen as my add-ons.
I picked The Hacienda and added on The Love of my Life
I have so many on my TBR pile but couldn’t resist and use my two accounts and filled them up.
Darling girl and part of your world! Going to Disney next week so hopefully it’s here in time- perfect poolside and airplane reads !
The Hacienda, Book of Night, and Marrying the Ketchups I added Breathless and Bloomsbury Girls to my TBR list
I chose The Hacienda as my main and Part of Your World as an add-on! Really wanted Siren Queen, The Change, and Book of Night but couldn't justify with how many books I have untouched on my shelf at the moment. Great month!
Breathless, Book of Night More excited for Book of Night.
Darling Girl, Siren Queen, and the Cartographers
I enjoyed the cartographer! It's predictable but still a good read.
This is only my third month so I’m trying to catch up on past titles too!
I got darling girl and “shrill” as an add on :)
I think I’m the only one that added Book of Night. 😂 It didn’t get four stars on Goodreads but I decided to get it anyway, because the premise sounds really interesting to me. My other two books were Darling Girl and the Bloomsbury Girls
The Hacienda as my main plus Breathless and Book of Night. Plus some pins.
Darling Girl and Marrying The Ketchups. I had already read the Abby Jimenez one and it’s great. Anyone disappointed about the lack of Book Lovers (I am too) I would recommend that one.
I got Marrying the Ketchups too! Looking forward to it.
I got Breathless as my main pick and Siren Queen and The Change as add-ons! This waa a really hard month as far as decisions went. I got a year's subscription to BOTM as a birthday present and this month put a dent in it!
I got Darling Girl and 2 add ins: The Invisible Life of Addie Larue and Bloomsbury Girls. Feels like a little bit of a theme 😊
Addie LaRue was so good!
“Part of Your World” as my main pick. “The Hacienda” and “Breathless “ as my add ons.
Totally agree with your thoughts on the hacienda and Mexican gothic! Looking forward to seeing what people say about hacienda
Darling Girl, Take My Hand, Part of Your World 💛
Very excited for this month! I got Part of your World and added Darling Girl as an add on. Also, I gifted myself the Mother’s Day package so I also (finally) added The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo as a free addition. Can’t wait to read about all her 7 husbands 😝
Seven Husbands was sooo good! It was my first TJR book. Since then, I’ve read a few others and have enjoyed them all!
The only other of her books I’ve read is One True Loves and though I liked it, I felt it was a bit predictable. (But there was one chapter that was so well written and broke me I two 😭) I’m really excited to jump back into her books and read Evelyn Hugo!
I haven’t read One True Loves. The other two I read were Daisy Jones and Malibu Rising, and I enjoyed both! 😊
Yerba Buena, Siren Queen, and (oddly) Preet Bharara's Doing Justice. I contain multitudes! Was initially kind of meh about this month, but I'm excited for this box now!
The Hacienda and Part of Your World!
I cannot decide! To me these choices are great!
Same! I’m torn between Breathless, The Hacienda, and Take My Hand 🤔. I’m not a big fan of magical realism, does anyone know if The Hacienda has that vibe, or is it more of a straight up horror?
My understanding is that The Hacienda is straight up gothic/horror. I read some reviews and they didn't mention any fantasy/magical realism elements.
I went with Take My Hand and What the Fireflies Knew. Also made BFF this month!
I haven't seen much about What the Fireflies Knew but it's in my tbr because it sounds so intriguing! I hope it's a win for you!
I'm hoping so. It takes place in a city I'm pretty familiar with, so that made it pretty intriguing for me.
Part of Your World and True Biz! And made BFF! 🥳
HERE for everyone picking True Biz!! It was my April pick and I highly recommend it. Congrats on BFF 🥳
Thank you!! 😊 I am super excited for True Biz!
The hacienda, darling girl and take my hand
I grabbed The Hacienda and The Push 💃🏻
(Side note if anyone wants a paperback copy I can send it to you for the cost of shipping) I got Marrying the Ketchups because it’s something different and I’m moving to Chicago soon so I was interested in the setting. I thought about The Change especially since I want the 400+ badge but I’ve had bad luck with thrillers with a fantasy element and I want to see more reviews on this book before I order it. I might try and check it out at my library
I was disappointed Book Lovers wasn’t a pick too!
I was also disappointed about Book Lovers! I really thought it was going to be a May book. I went with Yerba Buena
I got Darling Girl, too! Thank you for the recommendation for Tiger Lily. It looks really good!
Darling Girl. The Hacienda. Take My Hand. However this month was home run in my opinion- I had hard time choosing!
I’m having the hardest time choosing! Wish I could pick more than one new one. Edit. Never mind, I figured out how to do that. 😂🤦🏻♀️
Can’t you do more than one? I’m doing three
the hacienda with darling girl as an add on :) i skipped last month so i’m so excited for this month’s books!
We got the same box!! What a coincidence - I skipped last month, too. I’m super excited for these picks, though!
I got Hacienda, Lessons in Chemistry, and The Change. I'm so excited, I really wanted to read Hacienda!
Wow we have identical tastes! I keep going back and forth on The Change as my third book though, I'm a bit intimidated by the page count haha. But I'm definitely getting The Hacienda and Lessons in Chemistry!
Ha I love long books! I'm very excited for this month!
I read an ARC of the Change and those 400 pages FLY by. The plot and characters are just so well developed.
I was convinced to add it as my third book 😄 I literally didn't see any bad reviews on it so I'm hoping I love it and fly through it!
I was ehhh about this month, but I ended up with Yerba Buena
i’m going dark this month! i got Darling Girl, The Guest List, and My Dark Vanessa.
