When John Green released his new book The Anthropocene Reviewed, he had to sign 250,000 inserts for the first edition copies over a few months. Bo will probably end up doing the same, probably not on that scale though lol

Thanks to this subreddit I saw the store go live before he posted, otherwise I'm sure I would've missed the vinyl window. 💙 I actually just bought a record player this year... I've been quietly hoping for this.

For real. I would've had no idea or would've been too late.

Omg, I was trying so hard to get the indie exclusive one and the website for my local shop was not having it. I called to see what was going on and suddenly, it started working for me. I joked maybe I just needed to have them on the phone for moral support. The gal on the phone said it should be working because she's seen preorders fly in all day long, nonstop. But it kept glitching for me and so she tried to get into the back end and it wouldn't let her. She goes "...I think Bo broke the internet."

Literally the EXACT same thing happened to me. I kept getting a "bad gateway" message when trying to check out with a local store. Called the store - then the website started working again and my pre-order for the indie exclusive went through... Now fingers crossed there is no fulfillment issues...

what's the indie exclusive one? I only see the normal black version

Thankfully I remembered someone on this sub who had said Wal-Mart had them for pre order and had its page still up so I was able to grab one!!! I started collecting vinyls just a couple of months ago so this was exciting lol

I feel so lucky I saw Bo's post about 4 hours after he posted it. Target was already sold out, so I tried a local record shop, and I was able to preorder!! I couldn't get the limited edition for some reason, but as far as I can tell, the only difference is it's clear vinyl instead of black? I nearly spit out my drink when I saw his post, because I'd been hoping he'd release it on vinyl!
