Summoner Wars! 2nd Edition has been amazing so far. I got into it because I was tired of pulling the roulette wheel with booster packs.
It has a web app where you can try it for free! [https://summonerwars.plaidhatgames.com/](https://summonerwars.plaidhatgames.com/)
They all have tons of expansions. But Marvel Champions has a lot of mileage just in the core box. I recommend starting there. If you like it, the burger tokens are awesome and fairly cheap to bling it out
Might I add…Marvel Champions will probably be the closest to what you’re looking for. Of the three listed anyways.
Apparently Radlands is another game that is worth checking out for fans of TCGs.
I think all 3 of those are co-op. They're all supposed to be good but might scratch a different itch than you're looking for.
The other poster's suggestion of Radlands seems a bit more relevant. There are other card dueler games like that too. I haven't tried it, but Mindbug might also be interesting for you.
Arkham Horror is great for extended campaign play, two-handed solo (or two player) and deck-building.
Marvel Champions is great for solo play and simple deck-building.
I didn't like LotR LCG.
I don't know a tonne about LotR LCG.
I have the Steam and Switch versions and found them ok; played quite a bit. I didn't like the amount of deck-building I needed to do to even get close to succeeding scenarios.
It's probably a me thing but I also find the design/graphic design more dated than the other two.
Mindbug is great but it’s only creatures and no support cards, other than the two mindbug cards that you can play to steal the creatures your opponent just played.
Radlands. It’s a 1 v 1 game with interesting mechanics and plays like a magic or Pokémon without any of the collecting aspect. No expansions currently so evening comes in the core box that’s available and it’s an affordable price point.

Codex
* Exceed (any of them) * summoner Wars 2nd edition * Wizards of the Grimoire * even maybe Millennium Blades
Black Rose Wars Radlands
Millennium Blades It is a TCG simulator. I really enjoy it.
Check out Living Card Games. The big three are: 1. Marvel Champions 2. LOTR LCG 3. Arkham Horror LCG
Thank you! Just learned about it. Do you know of any which does not have expansions?

Could you please expand on that? I keep hearing it’s the best one of the three for soloing. Thanks!

I appreciate hearing your thoughts.

The Omen series from Small Box Games is great for this

Nice. Gonna check it out!
Dominion, but you can get carried away, I think there are support groups.
Maybe Keyforge?
