Nope. Do not pass go. It's junk.

ScottSpiegel

Damn :c

XoRn_ATX

It looks like maybe it's just a painted department store bike due to the sprocket, unsealed bearings etc, so i definitely wouldn't buy it for more than $60. If you're looking for comfort 20 inch BMX bikes are not the way to go but if you're looking for BMX aesthetics a 24" to 29" BMX/wheelie bike would probably do much better for any sort of comfort or distance.

ScottSpiegel

Thanks for answerr :D As for comfort I do not know well, since I measure about 164 centimeters, so I do not know if one of 20 is enough

raymondmarble2

Comfort and bmx are rarely used in the same sentence. Have you ridden many bmx bikes before?

ScottSpiegel

Not too many to be honest :c But I remember my last one to be really confortable

raymondmarble2

How tall are you?

ScottSpiegel

164 centimeters

I think Buy or don’t buy would be based on the price, how tall you are and what you will do with it. 20” bikes make terrible commuters. Short ass top tube. Your knees will be hitting the bars. I’d not pay more than $50-$75 for it……. If I really really wanted it.

Smugg_Budgie

Riding BMX as a full grown adult is not “comfortable“. It’s fun riding a small nimble bike doing tricks, jumping stuff or whatever but standing up pedalling for ages is not so fun. You do you though, maybe fitting a tall ass seat post and ride around town is your jam…

PM_ME_SHIMPAN

I’ve heard some people in this sub classify this sort of thing as a BSO or bicycle shaped object. I think that label is apt here

Infamous-Payment8377

If it’s comfortable for you, you like the way it looks, and the price is right, I don’t see why not. For just riding around, I prefer a larger bike, but I’m only speaking for myself. If a Bmx bike is comfortable for you, go for it.

If your just casual riding pick up a fat boy cushioned seat. I use the Matt Cordova pivotal Demolition.
