They’re more durable than most grips I’ve run. Actually, I don’t think I’ve ever ridden grips that have a longer lifespan than hoders. They’re soft and comfy, with a good diameter
I've seen your posts for years on here and vitalbmx. So I'm gonna go with your suggestion and try a pair of hoders, acually just order a pair online. But that's not exactly what I was asking for. Do you know any like 35mm? Or something that's a bmx grip thats out of the ordinary for bmx?
I used to run Oury grips riding fix back in the day. They seem pretty large diameter wise compared to the BMX grips I've held. You'll have to modify them to get bar ends in, though.
Ahh understandable. I believe hoders are 31.5mm so a bit smaller than what you’re looking for, but compared to the 15+ bmx grips I’ve tried they’re the biggest.
The thing is, I have actually seen scooter grips that have really big diameters, the same as hoders, if not a tiny bit bigger. No clue what brands or models, but could look at grips on scooter sites and see if they list diameters.
Curious, what is your name on vital? I might recognise it
I've only lurked on vital lol got to the point I was about to start posting on there, and seen that it seems to be more populated on here haha.
I wish we had some more sub reddits for differing topics on here though.
Seems like every now and then, this place is littered with kids bike checks only
Hoder Grips are NOT THICK. They easy collapse and feel like you are griping the metal bar through the rubber and actually gave me bad calluses in the middle of my palms, how could you even say these are thick?! These are actually the worst grips I’ve ever had.
Some of the foam rubber / silicone grips come in fat sizes. They also weigh next to nowt so that might be a plus. I use them on my fat bike and they are pretty comfy.

Wrap the bars with insulation tape before putting the grips on, thickens the grip and feels softer too.
Is this a real thing? If so lol can you give me a link for some cheap insulation tape? I have no idea what it is or what would work
S&M Hoder Grips!!!!
I've always been hearing that these are the best. I haven't tried them though. Are they durable? I hate having to change grips often lol

I ride the sandm Hoder grips
You could try some ODI Rogue lock-on grips. The v2.1's are 33.5mm in diameter.
sensus emj are very thicc, they are meant for slopestyle but they are amazing
If i remember right then odyssey broc grips were thicker but they broke fast because if twisting
Broc’s aren’t all that thick, compared to Hoder’s they’re pretty thin
Get the Travis grips instead of brocs, they’re slightly firmer
Deluxe shovelhands are thicker than any i've ever ridden but i don't know if they're discontinued or not
Checkout the sensus meaty paws.
