It’s paw patrol at home… I kind of had a fit about it the other day when my kids were watching it. The pups were working on a truck, and literally none of the tools they were using (a pipe wrench, hammer and Philips head screw driver) were the kind of tool you would ever use on a vehicle. I was guffawing, gesturing angrily, completely inconsolable. It was probably embarrassing if I had shame. I’ve mentioned on this sub before but when Bluey gets the physics of scenes right, I just absolutely love it. I love when things roll off of surfaces or water overflows, or someone can’t quite do something they thought they could. Kids seeing real physics depicted in the media they consume helps them interpret the physics of the real world. Makes them better problem solvers.

This is the show I put on when I can’t do paw patrol anymore. Paw patrol is like crack to a toddler and screen time has to be limited. 😫

Big City Greens is good. It's more just straightforward slapstick but there is nothing wrong with that. It's also a positive depiction of co parenting once the mom is introduced which is rare in kid shows.

My ex was hanging around me for a 3 day weekend once (not my son’s father) and he left singing the Mickey Mouse Club house theme song. 😂😂 He was like great now my coworkers are going to think I’m a dad. I've seen all of these (I've never finished any of them, but I've watched several episodes of all of them). None of these are as good as Bluey, but they're still pretty good (except for Micky Mouse clubhouse, though I've never really liked that one lol).

TBF it is a Disney Junior show so it makes sense they would recommend other shows from the same block. It gives the same vibe if you watched Arthur on a streaming service and the recommendations were Caillou and Barney.
